Hello, I’ve been proud for 4 weeks owner of a Kia Proceed GT with the 7 gear DSG gearbox and super satisfied with the car, however, the gearbox in cold condition in the 3rd or 4th gear does not really turn up, it remains stuck in the respective gear, starts to jerk and it passes a few seconds until the gear is turned up, while the engine turns ever higher until eventually into the next higher, however, with the shift flaps I can normal up/runterscha lten, does anyone know the problem? The Proceed is built in 10/22 and has run 9,000 km, Facelift Model Thanks in advance greeting standards

Purchase advice 1.4 T-GDI, 140hp or 1.5 T-GDI 160hp
Hello together! Currently I am looking for a nice used Ceed/XCeed. I’m not quite sure if it makes a big difference whether the vehicle has a 1.4 T-GDI or 1.5 T-GDI. What are your experiences in terms of reliability, quiet running, consumption, driving behaviour? Which motorization should I choose and why? I would be happy about an exchange of your experiences Best greeting

XCEED PHEV 12/2020 at km 52,500 fell by the TÜV – brakes in the rear
Hello, today I had my car at the TÜV and thought that they wanted to fool me. After my 3 year old Stonic passed without problems 4 weeks ago it was called today – NO! The values of the brake were everywhere in order. But optically it did not like the examiner at all. Serious lack. No badge. KIA wants for the renewal with ATE 500 Euro. At Pitstop there is ATE for 265 with installation.

Squeaking while steering
Hello, I’ve had a Kia Ceed SW 1.5 MY22 Gold Line (Austria) for about 6 months. I’ve noticed the last few days that a squeaking sound arises when I steer. Can’t define it more precisely where it comes from, it usually comes from when I park or at intersections. First I only heard it when I turned left, now the sound is audible when I steer to the right. The sound sounds like squeaking rubber boots. Can the squeaking come from the cold temperatures, currently – 7 to -12 degrees? Or is this a known problem with Ceed? This is my first Kia, so I ask.

Resetting radar at lowering?
Hello, I plan to lower my ProCeed GT (BJ 2020) with 30mm lowering springs. I asked my KIA workshop as well as a free workshop about the costs. Of course, the free workshop is a bit cheaper, but I was reminded that after lowering it will be necessary to adjust the radar of the distance tempomate. This would cause additional costs. Does anyone have experience with this topic?

OilCatchCan (OCC) in the GT
Greetings, the Sufu brought zero results. Has someone already installed or installed such an OCC in the GT and how are the experiences with it? I have 2 of them installed in my Focus 1.5 EB and what kind of scmodder is neat, one of which I have modified additionally. If the car were to be installed in a new way, the question is therefore what kind of experience there is. MfG

Part of the exhaust makes noises, what is it for?
Hello guys, at the end of the rear silencer top is such a funny sheet metal screwed on. That makes me extremely noise. Did it once unscrewed after that was quiet. Does anyone know what this sheet metal should be for? I don’t end up using it. An image in the appendix. Thank you,

Sign recognition / cruise control
Hello dear Kiafriends, I’m currently driving a Ford Focus, but in half a year a new service car is due, and I love it with a Kia Ceed SW. I have a question about the adaptive cruise control in connection with the sign recognition: Does the cruise control operate in a predictive manner with a winch limit? Or is it like Ford? At Ford, the Focus drives past the sign and then lights the brake parachute. Very annoying and not forward looking. he’s solved?

Test drive: Poltern/Holpern give off the gas
Hi, yesterday I had a test drive of about 1h at a Kia dealer. The car was a Kia Ceed GT-Line (160ps) with automatic circuit. In itself the car was very promising, only one point I noticed, where I would like to have your assessment. This is the first car with automatic and this PS number I drove, accordingly I wanted to test the following. If I gave strong gas from the stand, came from the front wheels. “Holpern”, as if something were going through (not freaking out, but right punches). After the test drive, of course, I asked the dealer. We drove again together a few times out of line and he said that this would be normal, respectively, that these are probably the wheels that are going crazy. Unfortunately, I couldn’t record a video with the sound, otherwise I would have made it available to you. Unfortunately, I don’t really have much experience with different cars, but the previous ones I drove, just squeaked and didn’t hit so hard when I was spinning the tire. Is this normal? Normally I shouldn’t give so much gas, of course, that the tires are going crazy at all, but even if I did, I would assume that the tires will be damaged at most. But this sounded rather like the vehicle could be damaged directly.

LED lamp defective / headlights change themselves
Hello, my Ceed has already received the Kplt. headlight on the right (seen from the driver’s seat). Changed on guarantee. The LED is not defective again. I have read a lot that it can be on the board or on the tape itself. My dealer does not want to do this on a culant and not make an application. Cost njr for the headlight 1100,-…… Well the question whether you can do this yourself with craftsmanship. The main headlight, installation side right (must be right?) SNR 1260/ ACX costs 270 EUR in retail. The Tüv has criticized this. Last time I came with the defective LED by the TÜV. This tape unfortunately goes out again and again, always on the same page. I also read that it could be on the board. Do you have to re-learn headlights or reix the simple installation? Would you be very grateful for answers. Greetings
