Moin. Kia told me this year that they no longer make the annual updates, but they are freely available to the end customer. So I made the update this month. I have a Ceed SW from 2019, so without a wide screen. After installing the update I find the optics of the system in need of getting used to, but was negatively surprised when I first used the navigation. I first thought I installed it incorrectly, or chose the wrong software. But in the Update Assistant there is only one selection MY’19 for my vehicle, map work Europe. The new navigation runs incredibly slowly and stifling. The map jerks in the curves and it is incredibly fuzzy in the presentation! It looks like you’re playing a flight simulator on Windows 95. At the Autozoom it slowly reloads and is therefore often totally pixelous. Now I ask myself the question, is this the update for this year, what should actually bring improvements? I ch has the feeling that this map presentation was no longer designed for the small screen at all, so bad is that. Before (Update 2021) it was good, now it is crap, almost useless. Is it with other Ceed with small screen also so? And is there any way to reinstall the version of 2021? 2-3 months ago I had set the acceleration of the SCC to fast and wanted to change it again, because it is very uncomfortable for my feeling. However, I can no longer find the option. I had only found a thread about the search in which it was mentioned in a secondary sentence that the option was apparently removed without further details. Is there a way to reset the option? It seems that only the option in the menu was hidden, but maintain the previously set configuration. Theoretically only a 0, 1 or 2 would have to be overwritten in a config file.

Hello professional people , I have a Kia ceed sw ED year 08.2009 petrol and I want to change engine oil now and I’m kind of confused! Because when I bought the car was the engine oil 5w40 inside and when I bought the car I also changed oil at Freiewerkstatt and you also made 5w40 in and now I want to change oil again and I looked in user manual that the manufacturer writes and recommends 5w30! There is a picture below from the side of the operating system The question now should I take with the oil change 5w30 what the manufacturer recommends?? Or what the workshop has ever put in??? Why did the workshops 5w40 and not 5w30 recommend what the manufacturer recommend??? Did you not pay attention to it??? Sincerely

Hello, I have a GT since recently and am satisfied with it. But what really bothers me is the “exhaust sound” during normal driving and easy acceleration. I read again and again about a great engine sound that the GT should have. But with mine the car just sounds like a small, old Corsa with a hole in the exhaust! It was like that, according to my wife, I wasn’t there when she made the first test drive with a proven at the dealer. I already had from the sound generator that many have jammed off. But mine is not loud and sporty, but just sounds bad! How does your sound sound like when you ride normally? In sport mode it sounds a bit duller and more voluminous. I have been driving a new Proceed GT, MY22 for 2 months, with currently 2000km of driving power. From the beginning I feel the performance of the brake, better to say the bad pressure point, as unfavorable. You can dose the braking power poorly, or only with more powerful pedal pressure. A strong full braking is no problem, but the brake feht the “bit”. The braking power is felt too late at too strong pressure on the pedal. For comparison I have a Ceed CD MY22 with the 1.5T motor u and a Ceed GT test and the two vehicles have a much better brake to be dosed. In the near future I have a workshop appointment with the dealer to analyze the problem. The brake discs are subjectively considered all uniformly “deployed” without abnormalities. The pedal pressure/hardening with the motor switched off is also available immediately after pedaling to test the membrane of the brake power amplifier. What could be the cause? Poorly ventilated braking system ? Maybe a software adjustment, because the assistants also access the brake? Or does the Proceed GT generally have a weak brake without a good dose “bit”?

Hello, I got my Kia Ceed SW EZ 03/19 from the inspections today. There I was informed that the front brake discs have reached the minimum strength and have to be changed soon. However, the brake lining still has a good 60 per cent strength. On my objection that the vehicle has just run 45,000 km and still the first brake pads on it are but the discs must not be broken at all the mechanic has not entered any further and has already given me the If the brake pads were down, I could understand that, but I’m new to the discs far ahead of the brake pads. I’ve looked at them at home and it’s true that there’s a decent degree on the edge, so that the discs are finished. But I can’t and I don’t want to accept that. That would mean that this is the least-valued material installed as brake discs. I don’t think that there is anything about the brake system, otherwise the brake pads would have gone off first. I don’t want to paint what the cost for me is every time after 40 percent brake lining wear to have the complete brakes replaced for just under 500 euros. Do you think it would make sense to contact Kia for material errors or something like that? I’m of the opinion d as something like this must not happen, and since I have no influence on it the guarantee should actually take hold. I know that braking though wear parts are but am the opinion that the discs would have to last far longer than the coverings. It is a Ceed SW 1.6 diesel with 136 hp and double clutch transmission.
