Hello to the forum. I wanted to share my experience with KIA. In August last year I bought a KIA Rio year 2009, mileage 26000km. Regular inspections were made. On January 1, 2011 the warranty expired. Since after 3 years the vehicle has to go to HU/AU for the first time, I drove to TÜV in the middle of January. Running performance at that time 37000km. What was shocked when I learned that I had to present the vehicle again. Defects:front Querl With this small mileage!! Let KIA change for 250 euros. Since the guarantee had just expired and this was obviously a material error, I submitted an application for a culant takeover. Vehicle is not an imported vehicle, but was posing and registered for Germany. KIA Germany rejected Kulanz with the statement that the internal KIA culant guidelines were not complied with. A uf further demand, which part was not complied with, came the statement that only from a material value of 300 Euro kulanz is granted. Hi everybody, now it’s me, the valve game can’t be set any more. Kia refuses all claims for the time being. You know all the stories from other contributions. But, in just a few cases, the outcome of the matter is described. What’s the point? How do the stories go out? Are you all satisfied with the first rejection of Kia? No, that can’t be, I don’t think so. I thought it’s worth it here in the thread just the actue ll describe the status of your cases (both ongoing and completed). Hello so where do I start, hmm best from the beginning. At first I didn’t want to dare such a young one but decided to do so because I had used a lot of pitch with older ones. I was with a colleague at a dealer, we talked and I also said that I definitely want to have seat heating. Well I tried the show car, and I really liked it. The dealer then told me how long it would take if I ordered and that was definitely v iel too long, because I need a car because of job. And mine was broken and didn’t want to put money in it. So we talked about the demonstration car he had only 1000 km down there and he should have the full equipment, so my colleague understood it too. Well, well, wait a few days, then I could pick him up registered, then in the evening I realized that the seat heating was missing, which was important to me. And he should have told me that or not? I know was a little blue-eyed but you don’t always try out all the extras, do you? Is my first car from the dealer and is so young. So I went the next day but he wasn’t there because they told me to come another day. Now my question is how are the chances that one still has to fit me without having to pay for what?

Hello, I’d like to buy a KIA Ceed SW. The dealer says it’s a 160 hp petrol engine with Mild-Hybrid engine. Vehicle comes from the Czech Republic. If I look at KIA, there’s only the Mild-Hybrid with diesel. There won’t be any other engines in the Czech Republic, will there? Thanks for your answers.

Hello, is this so right that with lower km of driving performance in the year, the follow-up inspection must have been carried out under one year of previous inspection in order to retain the warranty claim? ZB car newly bought and registered 13.10.20. Since in the 1st year were driven too few km, the 1st inspection took place on 05.10.21. Is that correct that the 2nd inspection in 22 must have taken place before 05.10.22, for the maintenance of the warranty claim? What is right. EMWE1100

Hi, I have a short question for the screwdrivers among you. I have here a Kia Ceed III CD from 06/2018 140hp. This one has no washers at the bolting of the brake lines on the caliper. Is this normal or is this missing? At the brake was sometimes indisputably groped and therefore I am unsure about this…

Hello, I think someone took the outside mirror with me on the driver’s side, so that this now has scratches on the non-painted plastic plug. I marked the place on an example picture. New the parts are very expensive, so I looked on ebay times for something used. Now there are some mirrors apparently without dead angle assistant. Does anyone have experience, whether I could buy this and convert it? Meiner has dead angle assistant. Also a question that I am looking for are all mirrors of the Ceed CD foldable and heatable? Can I convert the technology from mine to the “new” or is it not possible? Thank you in advance if someone can help. Greetings

Hello people! My Ceed, with a current mileage of just under 3500 km, vibrates during braking from higher speeds (from about 120 km/h). Since I already had enough of this for vehicles from the VW Group, I suspect once again very strongly warped brake discs as a cause. With a mileage of 3500 KM it is natural for me that this has to be handled via the guarantee, even if brake discs / pads are a wear part. As mentioned earlier, I had to have such experience before, and as far as the topic is concerned, I am already sensitized, and watch out! It can’t be the driving style, because there were also brake discs at VW which then worked 80000 km without any problems. The salesman and the service technician said at the takeover that I should use the car quite normally, braking is not necessary. My questions to you, specialists or users with knowledge of the material: – Which equipment supplier provides the brake discs + pads for the KIA Ceed? – Is such a symptom known at Kia Ceed, are there users here who have experienced the similar? – …. and can recommend better brake discs / pads? – Can the car user somehow influence the durability of the brake discs / pads (except my above precautions), or is it s tark depending on the quality of the installed parts? – Why does this happen again now, had such a fault picture at VW 3x and every time it was changed on guarantee … would finally like brake discs, which also hold 80000 km! Do not drive like a Formula 1 driver and torture my brake discs. Care for cooling and not constant “grinding” of the brakes / permanent brakes! From that, what else should I do? At VW it was good then, after which I came the 3rd time and so much Is there no longer a proper long-lasting brake? PS: In brief appointment with Kia, but I would like to clarify in advance whether someone with possibly “better” brake discs has had good experiences etc. The discussion round is open. Hello everybody, I’m very impressed with the full-digital instrument display in my Ceed SW BJ20. But I noticed something today that wasn’t like that until now: pretty much in the middle, where the “Auto Hold” symbol is, a little bit seems to be cut off below. Was the days with Mr. Wash and I cleaned the car inside too. Can it be that the alignment/centering of the display as a whole was somehow changed? If that’s possible, where can I do that? Didn’t find anything? with an example – even if I change the angle of view, a part remains cut off below, but only with “Auto Hold”. The other symbols close clean and in time. Has anyone noticed this before or could someone alternatively look at themselves, if that is similar? Merci!
