Hello Kia friends, with my Ceed Bj. 2019 the steering wheel is now after about 4 years out through the sun. I admit that I mostly place the Kia on my parking place, where the afternoon sun shines on the dashboard and on the steering wheel. Since I have been retired for about a year, the car is also longer there. On a ride in the summer the sun always shines on the steering wheel due to construction. On the detailed picture it looks like a coating, however, is none. Furthermore, I have not cleaned the steering wheel or treated differently. The surface is from the feeling also Rauh/Stumpf. I also have a garage, where the car is in the meantime also standing. In addition, bad weather, as also in the winter a different sun stand. So not always the sun shines in the car. I do not know such a problem with other cars at all. There was a warranty/bulance request at Kia, however, which was rejected. According to the workshop there is only 3 years warranty on steering wheels. So who has such problems, or knows the cover?

Rockfalls are normal, but there are still some. My main problem, however, is the approach of the front bumper, because the paint seems to swell up. Is this a topic that my dealer should fix? Next to the topic of sitting… I’ve seen many posts that the sidewalls wear out very much, but my already look quite wild. In addition, the seat area in fast-taken corners seems to slip to the left / right… I’ve got a lot of thanks to someone who can replenish it? Hello Together, today the TÜV at the Pit Stop has been informed that I have to change the two front crossbars. As price I was called 155€ per crossbar + 95€ Installation + 50€ Set the front axle. Total gross 545€. Is this price justified? Should I rather go to the Kia workshop and ask there? The car is a little over three years old, do I claim warranty at Kia? Have seen that these crossbars on the internet for 50€ per piece to chew can I also buy them myself and have them installed by a workshop? Thank you very much for the help.

Hello! A colleague is currently looking for a new “dog transporter”. Should be as new as possible, well equipped (climate, SHZ and PDC are mandatory), but of course not cost anything. hello people, today I exchanged my ceed for an opel ZT. with a crying and a laughing eye. had never had a car as long in my possession as the ceed. he was always ready to drive in the 5,75 years, had never had a defective with which you could not drive. he was basically solid, consumption was fine. but, the customer service is very unfriendly, I don’t mean the workshop, which has tried but the importer! my reference: a good car, good bye ceed! never again KIA, 7 year guarantee is a farmer’s hobby. as soon as the car is bought you are no longer interesting as a customer! at the same time I say goodbye to the KIA forum! thank you for your help and opinions! lg max

Have a pro_ceed GT for two weeks and find the car simply class!! The only drop of wormwood is the consumption, which does not move below 9 liters even if you do not constantly retrieve the maximum power. Hello together, I picked up our Ceed SW BJ 2012 today from the 3rd annual inspection. In advance I noticed that there is a leak on the front right of the engine area/cooler. The friendly one has looked at the whole and suspects a d effect on the climate capacitor. For further cause research or reperture, however, the bumper must be dismantled so that it can be determined whether it is a rockfall (foreign effect and accordingly no cost covered). e ) or “normal” corrosion and thus a warranty case. Before I bring the car back to the workshop and have it fixed, which may be at my expense, I would like to look at the climate sensor again and collect insights for possible later proof of a warranty case. For the dismantling of the bumper I need help now, since I do not know exactly how the complete bumper is dismantled. Does anyone have a manual like this??? /Previous vehicles I know good maintenance manuals such as is made like this. Are there similar books for the ceed???

Moin, on my Kia Ceed SW PHEV I have activated traffic sign detection. So I see in the Navi and the other displays when a speed limit has been detected. Is there a possibility that I will receive a warning if I exceed the speed? I haven’t found anything in the settings so far. VG Björn

Hello friends of the well-kept Kia Proceed GT. I was lucky to be able to order one of the last GT variants and this one was delivered today. I had the opportunity to inspect the car directly from the truck. Unfortunately, I noticed two or three things that didn’t go so well.
