  • Xceed JBL Optimization

In my Xceed Platinum the JBL sound system is installed. It should not be about the sound in general here. In my case it is the case that I usually listen to music with a USB stick. Some songs and albums sound great, others not so great. Sometimes it is the case that from the trunk where the side speakers are installed a clear vibrating can be heard. I then have to reduce the bass significantly via the equalizer, that is annoying. If someone already has the disguise around the speakers the Is this complicated, or is it not possible for you to do so? Which material did you use and did it bring something to the sound? It’s not about the door speakers, but only in the trunk. I would be very grateful for information.

  • Kia Ceed model year 2022/23 which RDKS

I have a Kia Ceed CD with first registration 3/2023 (i.e. vmtl a model year 23). Can someone tell me if an active or passive RDKS is installed here or how I can check it? Tire pressure values he shows nowhere, I only had a warning about tyre pressure once, but when checking it was too high, about 1 month after picking up the car. Is no special equipment and only the 120hp 1L motorization.

  • Auto Starter spins for a long time, what could that be?

Hello dear forum, I’m new here (22, young layman) and have a question. At my KIA Ceed BJ 2010 115PS Diesel the starter has been turning for a very long time. I already had problems with the fact that the car only started with bridge or with roll-on. Then I was home because of Corona a week and outside it snowed a lot and it went into the minus straight at night, so car was not driven a week. After that I had to start with roll-on, which also directly funktio At a backyard workshop I was told that it was the glow candles (did not look, only listen to the problem.) and with a car with a mileage of almost 300,000km you should not exchange them because they break. I should wait until the summer, because it then gets warmer and the problems disappear. The other workshop wanted to insert glow candles (also not looked into the engine compartment) but the glow candles alone would cost already 400€. So as far as I know, they haven’t changed at all about 100,000km. My father had the car in front of it and he said that the car is having trouble every winter. I just don’t know if it’s 1. so good when the starter spins an entire minute before the car starts and 2. if it’s even the starter when others say it could even be the starter. What’s most surprising to me is that no one taps on the battery. nrollen starts the car directly, whenever I have bridged it, it has also started immediately.

  • AutoHold doesn’t really work well

    a) It is disturbing that you have to turn this function on again every time you restart it. Should not be so difficult to realize that the last condition (on/off) remains stored. b) The fact that by switching on the AutoHold function the parking brake is also automatically active after switching off the engine is rather annoying. In my opinion, AutoHold has nothing to do with the parking brake in the case of a standing car. c) AutoHold does not work with my car. really good. Even with the smallest slope (or slope) the car rolls with the AutoHold turned on, although the car has been brought to a standstill. I have to climb the brake extra (sometimes several times) so that the car doesn’t roll anymore. Greetings Proceed2020

  • Battery warning in UVO app – not in the vehicle

Hello together, for a few days the UVO app has been showing me a battery warning. The car itself does not show any error message, starts and works perfectly. Proceed 2020 Diesel Mildhybrid. Does any of you have an idea? Thank you.

  • Speed limitation system (Tempolimit – driver assistance)

Hello, I’ve been driving our new Kia Ceed SW Spirit MY22 for a few days. In the Online User Manual, I saw that you can issue a warning if you exceed the current maximum speed. According to the User Manual, the menu item can be selected under [Driver Assistance > Tempolimit > Speed Limit System]. http://webmanual.kia.com/…/driverassistance.html Only…I don’t have this menu item. ht. Now my question(s): 1) Is the warning option linked to a certain equipment that I don’t have? The identification of the traffic signs definitely works with camera. I passed a construction site with 30km/h for the test earlier. This limitation is not included in the map material. The 30km/h was immediately displayed in the car. 2) Did the function fly out with MY22? What is it like with you with Vor-MY22? 3) Is the function with the current Naviupdate flew out I updated to 211117 right after I got the car. 4) Is that a bug in the SW? 5) Do I have another mistake in my mind? Maybe one or the other can help.

  • Kia Ceed steering heavy!

Hello dear forum members! Does anyone know the problem or has had similar experience with the steering at Kia Cee ́d and maybe also knows an explanation or solution for it? My Kia Cee ́d is a 1.6 petrol engine, year 2009, Mopf with 90hp. Problem: When driving straight ahead (from about 70 km/h) the steering wheel should be slightly moved (hold track), this must be done with an increased effort. It feels like you have to steer against a resistance shortly. e. The whole thing is not safety relevant but it disturbs me noticeably. Otherwise the steering is easy and does not cause any difficulties, just like the rest of the car. Thanks already in advance for your answers! Greetings Lyskrys

  • Guarantee … Pustecake!

It’s hard to have the first technical problem, you can forget your warranty at KIA. The topic is the brake at the front. I have a blow in the front of the brake discs at (currently under 10,000km). Where, I am completely enigmatic… No accident, no curb”ranger”… As EU vehicle, it is argued, you can push it on the installed brake discs… once become too warm, already delay possible… In urban operation hardly noticeable, but with stronger brakes from rural roads- or highway speed already a proper trembling in the steering wheel. Must definitely be made, if dangerous braking could be critical! KIA says, warranty fails with this mileage, point! Just got me the right parts in the net and let it change from inexpensive screwdriver in the environment.

  • LED filament lamps

I got sent by Ebay H7 LED incandescent lamps and wanted to install them. It was unfortunately not possible, because these lamps are fixed by clamp bracket: like normal lamps too. The fastening at Ceed is however another, like a bayonet closure. Long speech short sense: Who can tell me where I can purchase matching LED incandescent bulbs. It is known to me that these LED incandescent lamps are not approved. Thank you for your answer!! Rambokater
