I got sent by Ebay H7 LED incandescent lamps and wanted to install them. It was unfortunately not possible, because these lamps are fixed by clamp bracket: like normal lamps too. The fastening at Ceed is however another, like a bayonet closure. Long speech short sense: Who can tell me where I can purchase matching LED incandescent bulbs. It is known to me that these LED incandescent lamps are not approved. Thank you for your answer!! Rambokater

Winter tyres KIA Ceed
Hello together, I am currently looking for winter complete wheels for my KIA Ceed 1.4 T-GDI CD. Of course, I would like to buy “used” because new rims incl. RDKS are too expensive for me. I came across the following offer at classified ads: https://www.ebay-kleinanzeigen.de/…/1215643701-223-1992 The tires were apparently installed on a 2016 KIA Ceed 1.6. Could I easily mount them on my new Ceed? Data like hole circle etc. look identical. H at someone here experience? Best regards

Cost Oil Change Kia XCeed
Today I had an oil change on my XCeed 1.4T-GDI at just under 3000km mileage. It is not officially prescribed by KIA, but it can definitely not be bad for the engine. I noticed the oil price, which KIA calls for 1liter 5W30 ACEA C3 oil. The following oil was used: OPEL 5W30 Dexos 2 GM-LLA-025 GM-LL-B-025 ACEA C3. They have calculated the litre with 18.20€ incl. VAT. Are struck with a filling quantity of 4.2litres 76.45€ incl.16%VAT. I’m pretty horny, especially when I see that I get 5 liters of it for 18.95€ (1L.=3.79€) on the I-Net. It’s probably the first and last time I’ve taken oil from the dealer. From now on I’ll get the oil myself before I get into the car again such Opel-Plörre. I’ve looked at prices of 5W30 ACEA C3 oil: Castrol EDGE Titanium FST – 7.50€ (5L. – 37.50€) Castrol Magnatec Stop-Start – 7.26€ (5L. – 36.30€) Liqui Moly Top Tec 4600 – 7.99€ (5L. – 39.95€) Liqui M oly Longtime High Tech – 7,28€ (5L. – 36,40€) Mobile 1 ESP dexos2 – 6,96€ (5L. – 34,80€) Motul Specific dexos2 – 7,79€ (5L. – 38,95€) Motul 8100 X-Clean FE – 7,99€ (5L. – 39,95€) In addition, oil filters 10,95€, gasket oil drain screw 0,88€. I did not have to pay the wages of 52,78€ (bulk car dealership, as oil change is not prescribed by KIA). Goods then slapped 88,28€ for oil, oil filters and gasket. Then the 15000 oil change with ca. If I took the oil from the dealer, which will definitely not happen.

Price increase to 1.07?
Since 1.07 there is a new price list for Ceed SW (incident?). Does someone have the link to the “old”? Have the feeling that the price calculated yesterday does not defie 16% tax has become smaller (unfortunately did not notice the old one). Question is who holds up the hand, KIA or the intermediary…

Vibrating sounds on the right side of the passenger
Since it was mainly about the noises from the rear / tailgate, I have had the problem for more than a week now that my 2020 Procced GT shows annoying noises on the passenger side. It is a vibrating on the passenger side and I was pretty sure at first that it comes from the right side window. I have tried to drive with a little open side window, but that’s also the way it is still vibrating. t,Querfugen or Gulli Lid. Meanwhile, you can hear these vibrations on good flat roads when you drive between 1,500 and 1,600 rpm at the speed range. In the meantime, it seems to me that it would rather be right from the windshield at the bottom right. Quite difficult to locate that. But it sucks totally. Didn’t happen yet? Have an appointment with my Kia dealer on Thursday. I was curious if they could find something.

Carlifter at the breakdown set
Hello, should urgently know if the breakdown set is also a jack. I assumed that nobody is there like with e.g. Opel of me. Now I saw a picture at Mobile where the trunk was pictured with it, there was a green bag in the foam part which suggests – a jack -?. I ordered one yesterday, then I could cancel the order. Would be nice if one still reported. Greeting FDI

Gear oil change at 124,000 km made sense
Hello Ceedfahrer, since my Ceed is a long-term project, I changed the manual transmission oil at 124,000/6 years times and that was necessary/meaningful: the broth was olive green, with streaks but without chips. Lt. KIA you only have to change with “increased load” at 100,000 km but since I want to drive >200,000 km / 10 years with the Ceed, it was worth me the 15€ for 75W-85 GL4 (KIA wanted 90€).

Vehicle Logic annoying
Evening, second threat to the new vehicle; I get annoyed by the vehicle logic. – Radio not switchable without activated ignition – 12V box in the center console loses the voltage when the ignition is disabled – vehicle keeps buzzing, for example, when I turn on the ignition when cleaning, to listen to music and open the door / leave open – I always need two steps to activate the adaptive cruiser. First turn on, then activate, very annoying when driving – Parkens or shuts down, but doesn’t turn on again. since I (parking, it’s not because of the driving skills) always park at home in advance, I have to activate the always manually – start-stop automatic switches off the motor when parking slowly When talking to the workshop, the mechanic admits that the vehicle logic at Kia is “needing to get used to” (quote). It would help me a lot if one of you could reprogram something of these things.

Self-contained tailgate lighting
Since the LED back flap lighting from KIA is simply too expensive for me, I decided to rebuild it myself. More than 90€, without mounting, for 2 LED projectors, cables and some small stuff is already heavy. I ordered the following parts: 2 pieces Alu COB LED Spot screw type-1, 1.2W, cold white 2 pieces AMP Superseal SET 0.3-0.5qmm, 2-pole 2 pieces junction clamps 0.25-0.5qmm 5m FLRY vehicle line 0.35qmm, red 5m FLRY vehicle line 0.35qmm, orange material costs are close to 20€. The installation instructions are available at MOBIS-Parts.

Coupling difficult
Hello, I bought a used Kia cee’d sw 1.6 GDI (Dream-Team Edition) about 4 weeks ago. The car has an EZ of 05/2013 and has now run about 16,000 km. Unfortunately I find the clutch very difficult. During the test drive (Landstraße) I did not notice that yet, but now in the traffic jam everyday this is very annoying. Especially in the stop-and-go traffic you notice afterwards in the left leg how much power you had to use to keep the clutch pedal down. Then I switch to other cars (e.g. Volkswagen Golf, Hyundai i20 etc.), almost push the clutch pedal through the bottom sheet. Otherwise the clutch (pressure point, grinding, noises) is fine. I was already at the Kia dealer and could first check even with a new cee’d that the clutch is easier there. After having made a test drive with our cee’d, he said that the clutch would be a bit heavier, since otherwise everything would be ok, It could not guarantee that it would be better afterwards. Due to the wear, the clutch would become more difficult over time. The whole thing is all the more annoying, since the cee’d should actually become a family car, which also drives my wife. With the heavy clutch, it is understandably not particularly pleased with the car. Has someone had similar experiences? How could one remedy it? Is it possible to find a solution? ht am Ausrücklager? Many thanks and greetings!
