Hello, I have noticed in the last weeks that my proven GT has a bad straight run. If I take my hands off the steering wheel, it always drifts left or right after about 2 seconds. In most cases to the right, because of the normal road gradient to the rain run. I drove a VW Sportsvan for comparison, which keeps its track perfectly. Then last week a brand new Toyota Corolla as a rental car in Ireland, which is also drifted left (left traffic) now my question, how does it look like with you? Is that normal, or should I go to my dealer. The Golf Sportsvan has only 195 R15 on it, which of course are not as susceptible to track grooves as our 225 R18. Greetings Jan

I would like to suggest an exchange on this topic. I am a little surprised about the behavior of my XCeed Diesel. In normal operation I have a consumption of approx. 4.7 L, which I find very well. Now my problem, the frequency of cleaning of the DPF I find not normal and totally dirty the consumption. The cleaning starts with me again and again all about 80 km. With my previous diesel the cleaning took place approx. all 600 km. That can not normal How’s that with you?

Hello, since the end of March I have the Kia pro ceed 1.6 lx with summer package. I am completely thrilled by the car, only now unfortunately a big one comes but: For about 6 weeks the vehicle gives from speed 160 a very loud whistle noise of itself. It is not that this comes from the wind, because it does not slowly become louder but suddenly starts starting from about 160 km/h. I can best describe the sound like this: It sounds like someone immediately on the tires a microphone in of course was immediately in a Kia workshop and then came the usual, namely the demonstration effect. When I drove with the workshop master over the highway, the car did not give a “peep” of itself. I noticed then during my later journeys that this noise only occurs when it is very warm weather, so from about 25 degrees. Must now wait for warm days to drive to the Kia workshop again I hope that this tone will then “report” so that the Master does not think I would suffer from hallucinations. That can’t be true, my beautiful Xceed got hail damage. I finally found a garage parking space at home for 6 months and in Austria it caught me last week 🙁 God’s thanks but only few hits (about 15) and not so strong, so only “smaller” bumps. Next to me a few other vehicles were parked, which looked worse. Old Fiat Berlingo, rather crushed. Mazda 6, also significantly more bumps, VW Touran, also much more bumps. Lucky, or Does Kia have better sheet metal? Processing with insurance is running, I very much hope for good repair with Smart Repair, my 1st hail damage at all, after decades of parking on the road. What are your experiences with Kia vehicles in this regard?

Hello you love, I didn’t find anything under “Search”. My Connect app always indicates that the car is at home, although it is driving around the city. All data come across, e.g. range, whether my wife has steering wheel heater etc., but not where she is. And NO I do not stalk my wife, but I noticed it because I looked for the electric range because of charging. Reset with toothpick did nothing.

Moin, since Kia for the original switch knob, which is scraped off, 156 Euro called up I wanted to ask if someone has ever got a switch knob from the accessories so screwed up, the 1) The switch knob is so fixed that it no longer turns 2) then the reverse gear can be inserted. and 3) How does Kia get that, take the for the last thread passage a shot screw securing varnish, so that he does not turn any more? My Ceed always jerks in the city traffic or in the traffic jam at low speed, no matter what the gear is in. As soon as you tap the accelerator pedal, the car jerks; if you release the pedal again, the car jerks again. You can compensate for that if you still play with the clutch. But that’s annoying in the long run. You might think it’s a beginner. Of my 7 cars before, no one made such bitches – and that’s the latest one so far. My Kia dealer has in common t, that’s normal and you can’t set anything. Just for information – the whole thing with the air conditioning switched off and even if the ISG is off.

Hello together, with my Ceed, as with many others, bubbles form on the display. Kia, since the warranty expired last year in November, would cover 70% of the costs for the spare parts. I have to take over about 600€ in own performance. Now my question: does someone have the same problems and can’t fix it. Does the bubble formation affect the function? So far, these are only on the right side of me and therefore not bad. If I use the part for 600€ can be exchanged, do I have 3 years warranty on it again?! Thank you very much!

The first forum members already have their processed and gradually there will certainly be accessories from Kia or from other providers. Just post here your plans regarding changes, experiences with accessories or links to any suppliers. I have so far only ordered the Magnit 18″ rims with winter tires directly. If there will be an AHK at some point (in the big thread there are already some hints) I will upgrade accordingly. I still have the roof painted black. Fits with deluxe white certainly well as contrast color.
