Hello dear community, I have a question about the battery in a Kia Ceed Travel Emotion (see pictures). Sorry already for my ignorance. Wanted to bridge the battery with a starter cable from Herth & Buss as it no longer starts. Red cable to the plus pole etc…. However, where is the plus pole? (see pictures black circle) 😕 And can it be that one needs a finer, small terminal or the battery has to expand half to the plus pole to com men? Mine doesn’t lock, because the clamp is too coarse/large… Thought the starter cables would all be standardized. In addition, you might also tell me where to install the black cable (mass/metal point). Thank you very much for your support!!!! Best regards Albert

Does anyone have experience with the Eberspächer heater for the ProCeed GT? With Webasto (I had in a former Seat Ibiza and also in my last CeedSW GT-Line) I was very satisfied, unfortunately they do not offer installation kits for the ProCeed GT, only an air heater (so without cooling water heating)… however the bullshit works, for that I can also put a heater in the car… Anyway, now the Eberspächer is ordered, for this there is an installation kit dire kt from Kia. Coming in next week, Tuesday to Thursday I am without my car. Car rental Opel Elektro… au weia…. But, as already written, does anyone have the magic thing yet?

Servus together, I bought a ProCeed GT 2022er in January and have now ~9500km on the clock. All in all I am very happy with the car. You get used to the performance quickly. To my concern. I am technically completely not knowledgeable, but I think to know that a turbo should be installed. But I can’t hear when accelerating any characteristic whistles that speak for a turbo. Is the installed turbo “too small” ? If yes, I can’t com implies having a bigger one installed? Or is that any kind of setting from the engine that the turbo doesn’t come to light like that? Please don’t condemn me, as I said, absolute car amateur. Best regards

Hello people. The TÜV has criticized the light output of my left headlamp. According to the workshop, the whole headlight has to be changed for 1100 €. I almost dropped the beer…. They could not tell me exactly what exactly should be defective of the headlight. I assume that maybe the reflector is blind? But I have no idea. What can I do now to fix the problem as cheaply as possible. Buy a used one? n new one at Ebay? Can you also change the reflector if it is at all? Thank you for your tips Greetings Guido

Hello Motor-Talk! I have had a Proceed GT (BJ 2019 and 50000km) for almost 1 month, which annoys me a bit. To the problem: already at the third start, the engine has jerked like hell. The idle speed was at almost 1500 and the torque indicator rose wildly up and down. During the first 5 seconds also the engine control lamp flashed quite fast. After about 1 minute the engine catches again – acoustically and noticeable – but more than 20 kmh could not speed up. The car does this at about every 5 start – during the ride there are no problems. Because of the problem (and brake disc change) I was in the workshop last Friday. This has installed new spark plugs in the hope that the problem disappears. That then lasted until Tuesday because parts were apparently not delivered. As far as so good. In the second time I tried only the first time. I thought after 2 days I could ask if they have already found something and if they can estimate a time already. Now the reason I’m actually writing to the forum: The mechanic on the phone said they could only look at the car 2 times and he also had the problem 1x. In the one minute (!) kon But they didn’t notice anything. He said that would take time.. I’m an absolute layman, but for me it sounds like they have the computer on it in the hope that it will show them the exact error – once the problem occurs. Is that normal? With such an approach I’m afraid that the car will still be there for months. Shouldn’t you find the error in another way? With visual inspection, measurement of the cables oÄ? As I said, only a layman have your ideas w as I can do there? Or is this kind of solution normal and I’m just too impatient? It’s an official KIA workshop, wg. guarantee. From the inside everything classic, with red black seats, just typical GT. From the outside, however, he looks like the GT line, he has no red accents, i.e. lip, side skirt etc. Is everything black, the GT lettering is not there. He has red brake calipers, the Flappennauspuff and the 1.6 engine, according to the dealer there was to order it like this. I have never seen it like this before. Can anyone explain it?

Hi, wanted to ask in the round, who drives the new Ceed GT with the standard bikes. What are you there for a tire pressure on it? 225/40 R18 92y tires on it. So dealer has 2.8 bar on it for me and after a few kilometers shows me onboard computer 3.0 bar. Is that too much? Because I find it quite hard with bumps. In the door stands 2.4 bar, which comes to me again little. With how much bar do you drive around? Have now reduced times at the tank and have now 2.7-2.
