Rear light cracked (Facelift)
Hello guys, unfortunately I damaged the rear light cover yesterday at my Stinger (back right). The plastic is broken and a small gap (1x1mm) is visible. Maybe you know if the plastic alone (i.e. only the Celon) can be bought as a spare part? (I’m afraid it’s not :-). Maybe someone knows where to move isch there priceably…? Thank you very much! Greeting josef

Display Driving Modes
Hello together, when I change the driving modes (Eco, Sport, Sport+) etc. I call up the setting that I should be able to see the visualisation of the vehicle on the display, the display of the vehicle looks strange (see Appendix). For other Stingern it looks different… Do you have an idea what this can be about or does someone have the same representation? Thank you!

Brake wear limit
Hello together, A question to the Stinger connoisseurs: Does our Stinger actually have a brake wear limit indicator in the cockpit that reminds you of the brake change in time? Thanks for your answers. Mfg

GPF lamp, increased consumption and poor engine run (3.3l)
I had an interesting experience earlier. When I was speeding through the highway there was a short jerk, which I thought was first for switching up. Then I noticed from 200 off that a little power was missing, so roughly 100hp, and a yellow lamp glows, which looks a little like steam ironing. I thought that this was probably some lamp from the particle filter. After that the jerk was reproducible when accelerating through at about 4000 revolutions, at least on the Highway. On the next occasion I stopped for a short time to verify my guess regarding the importance of the lamp with the manual, but did not turn off the ignition. I was already off the highway anyway, on the way home and then drove the rest of the country road in sports, so that it remains over 1500 revolutions. I noticed that the engine developed a quite pronounced partial trucking and developed a quite considerable thirst In sport at around 2000 turns with Tacho 56 he wanted about 20l/100km. Whether the performance was still full is hard to say, but he still felt attracted to normal. I had already agreed that probably to have to address during the inspection next week, but wanted to check the oil level one way or another. So at the gas station around the corner stopped and checked, then ignition completely switched off. Oil level was ok. After starting the GPF-L ampe away, the motor run normal and the consumption at constant drive in the inner place again normal. I’m curious if that happens again or if the good only swallowed up. Has anyone ever experienced something similar?

Electric leg rest too short
Good evening together, last night had my first longer tour with the Stinger and after some time got pain in the left leg. I then extended the electric leg rest but this is too short. I reached completely under the seat with despair if you can take off something. Except the aperture at the bottom was there but nothing. Good that this has not been solved. It is about the driver’s seat of the 2.0T I am 1.90 and have long legs…

Passenger seat belt
Hey guys, a stupid question. With my Stinger, the buckle from the seat belt on the passenger’s side, when I drive alone. She rubs the belt down a bit and then pushes against the wall permanently. I didn’t have that with the Stinger Diesel, but in the Optima GT SW too. I have now helped me with a small black hair clip, so that the buckle on the belt can no longer slip under, and thus no longer claps. Unfortunately, only because you always have to think about who Does anyone have a better idea? Say hello to SiF

Change WiFi setting Stinger GT from KIA-App. to Internet Stick Huawei E3372
Hello together, someone can give me a tip. I integrated my smartphone as an active Internet access with the KIA app, also runs. But now I want to change this access and go via an Internet USB stick (Huawei E3372). On the PC the stick OK is but in the menu of the Stinger he does not appear? Maybe here someone advice. Maybe stand on the line himself.

Diesel with AWD MY 2019 – Soundscape and Quietness
Hello Diesel driver, how is your assessment of the diesel out? I’m primarily interested in the background noise, even in the cold state. Do you share this assessment of a car journalist….? “Diesel rather unplanned Even with or should I say better despite the diesel engine. Let’s be honest, the great 2.2-litre self-ignitioner is not necessarily part of the crown of engine creation. It doesn’t feel very slow, pushes the 1,850 kilos of the stinger in at least 7.6 seconds to 100 km/h. But the punk doesn’t really go off either. Admittedly, he speaks relatively well, but the air goes out too quickly, he quickly becomes too tough. Moreover, the sounds he gives so much of himself are quite rustic. This diesel is still one of the unfurled types. Kia seems to have recognized the problem himself and provides him with a kind of background singer in the two sportier driving modes. A second sound track, which comes from the strong nailing a This works amazingly well. You know that it’s not real, but it sounds less like diesel and that’s why it’s better.” Please only opinions from sting drivers who can judge it from practice. Thanks & VG

Pre-heating
Hello Forum, shortly I will finally pick up my Stinger. I had agreed with the dealer at the time that a stand heating (Webasto or Eberspächer) should be installed. This was probably possible at the time when ordering, only the manufacturer would have withdrawn the approval as there is no installation instructions. Does anyone know anything about it? Did one of you have a stand heating installed by the dealer (in 3.3)?
