Servus together, I created this post to get an exchange about Apple Car Play. Since I – like some others – have not received the Stinger yet, we are dependent on the “old foxes” who drive the Stinger already (you lucky ones). Well, as the subject already asks: what can Car Play, what can not? What are you using it for? What is there to improve!? Thank you!

MY2019: Manual choice of driving level
One of the often mentioned criticisms is that there is no “manual alley” in the circuit. I had to play around a bit on a longer motorway stage today (at first unconsciously, then I became curious). I think the car (model year 2019, according to dealers all the updates recorded) in SPORT (and SPORT+) seems to stay on manual once you have treated it with the seesaws until you either stand (almost) or pull the selector lever again after “D”. Whether this is also the case with C omfort and Eco is true, I don’t know yet. Can and would like to “reveal” someone or have I “discovered” something that is known for a long time? CnD

Kia Stinger seating position
In the press it is written that the seat position was moved down by 4,5cm compared to the Optima. The driver sits 18cm above the asphalt. This probably means a large headroom for slightly larger people in front…

Ambient lighting for footroom front and rear
Hello together, since I absolutely wanted Ambiente lighting in the Stinger, I want to show you what I have installed in the Stinger. Ambiente lighting via app controlled in the footrooms so front and back.https://autolight24.de/…/…euchtung-stripe-rgb-app-steuerung.html The wiring is hidden under middle console. For almost 3months I have it inside and works perfectly. You could do without the rear lighting. I hope you like that Momo

Stinger value maintenance and second-hand market
At the moment I drive a Lexus IS-F and I have nothing to expose myself to. Unfortunately, I lived in the moment and didn’t look very far into the future and now that I want to continue my professional education but that would have to pay for myself because distance studies are the maintenance costs of Lexus already a brummer. Ultimately, I have already initiated a change to a Hyundai i30N fastback which gives me more space for my personal vehicle exchange. In the search for alternatives for the IS-F I also looked for the Stinger because it is in the same vehicle class, is cheaper in the maintenance and I always had a little interest in it and I was very surprised. There are already those that go away for less than 40,000€ as for example here or here. They are only about 1 1/2 old. That means in a few years Stinger could be almost incomprehensible bargains if you have the 7 years manufacturer But that also seems to mean that the concerns that some had when the car came out were probably appropriate in terms of maintaining value. That is ~30% value loss if you start from the EIA.

Autogas for the Stinger
Greetings dear car community, so I got a Stinger 3.3 T-GDI and would like to retrofit a gas system now. I have made a request with 3 suppliers and with Zavoli, as well as with Prins no conversion for the Stinger is offered. (I forgot about the third one) I know many of you will want to start a discussion about gas systems now. Before we start, I would like to know if someone has already upgraded? If yes, which system, where, how much cost?

Problem in the Waschstraße – Neutral/Parkstellung
My problem in the washway was that when the ignition (engine off) was switched on, I didn’t manage to switch the gearbox to neutral and exit without the gearbox switching to parking position. I only had the solution to run the engine with the key in the car. Is there a solution?

Stinger Checklist Vehicle condition at pickup New vehicle
Hello, also a little to bridge the waiting time, there are tips, what one should pay special attention to or what could be damaged on the new vehicle ? Bzw. which is often a nuisance, that the dealer should then correct the same. Because after handover hang on the car on one itself …. My suggestion is to supplement this list with own experiences and post the whole alphabetically sorted in the answer. What I have read so far, what to pay attention to: – Control Buttons in the cockpit partly emptied – boot / snoring – paint damage to the wheel boxes – light setting / black beams horizontal – check the gaping mass of the respective vehicle parts to each other
