Hello dear community, am owner of a new Kia ceed. It is an EU car. As of January 2013 in stock, approval in October 2013. Unfortunately have the user manual only in Dutch. Would be overjoyed to get a PDF file (perhaps via PN). Is this file even on the net? Can anyone help me?? Have also a problem with the start/stop automatic. Display always shows “Disabled” and if I press the switch, the message “Off” appears. twas read here, can be due to the temperatures, so too cold or to the battery. For this someone else an idea?

Is that normal?
My name is Christine and I bought a Kia Rio year 11/2004 in November 2013. The car has now run almost 70,000 km, got a large inspection when buying and the timing belt has been changed. From the inside and outside it looks like from the sales room of the Kia dealer. Whether this, however, employs besides good sellers also qualified mechanics, I dare doubt. Because somehow w my problem with the Rio always with the words `That’s normal, don’t worry. I am blonde, but soooo blond now also not! Here’s my problem: As soon as I step up the clutch the speed increases by 200 to 300 revolutions. If the engine is cold it can also be 500 revolutions. My father says, `the engine gives intermediate gas`. I don’t know what that is? But must probably be a relic from the beginnings of the automotive industry. It is unusual for me that I can drive with the Rio without giving any gas. I just have to kick the clutch, insert the gear, let the clutch come back, and it starts without having to step on the accelerator pedal once. In the fifth gear it purrs through the area at 45 km/h and can’t be impressed even by slight climbs. The speed remains constant at approx. 1100 revolutions. If I then switch to idle and the car still rolls, stay t the speed also at approx. 1100. Only when I stop and the car stands the speed decreases to approx. 700 revolutions. Is this really normal?

Guarantee lost at Kia ceed EU Reimport
Hello, yesterday I was at the third inspection at the dealer of Kia in Goslar with my reimport of a ceed. Maintenance interval 12 months or 20,000 kilometers. Short data: 1. First registration on my name on 25.02.2011 at 15 kilometers. 2. First inspection on 05.01.2012 at 14,707 kilometers. 3. Second inspection on 10.01.2013 at 30,428 kilometers. 4. Third inspection on 09.01.2014 at 44,971 kilometers. Had from the first inspection with the workshop a “spar depot” against Bezah This means for three inspections no wage costs are due and should therefore save about 55% of the costs. In the warranty booklet (all in foreign writing) there is something from 29.09.2010. What this means, I did not worry about it and did not look at it before. Yesterday I asked in the workshop. It turned out yesterday in the workshop that I have no guarantee at all because I would have to inspect every 12 months after 29.09.2010. I had already lost my guarantee before the first inspection. That was my first EU vehicle and that’s why I had my inspections done as usual from the first inspection. I made a “serious” error unknowingly, but would the workshop not have had to give me any indication during the first inspection? This should be known to the workshop especially since the warranty booklet is in foreign writing and it is a large workshop. You still have to give me my guarantee at the first inspection. I could have saved the three inspections or had oil, spark plugs and so on “cheaper” checked at another workshop. Especially since I have now driven only 45,000 kilometers after 3 years. According to the warranty booklet up to the first inspection 12 months and 97 days have passed. According to information here on the Internet it can be about 2 months or 2,000 kilometers of exceedance. So with me 36 days too much. I called today at KIA and also with “supervised” Spro result = guarantee is no longer available. What could I do to get a guarantee again? Take the workshop into the boat with you, which are not completely blameless or? Thanks for advice.

“Kratzer” or Schlieren on the cockpit + quality of my KIA`S
Hello driving a 2013er Kia Ceed II with Emotion + Edition 7 package. The quality of the car is “horrifying” , after 15 months and 20 TKM yet not even a burned-out bulb ! I previously driven Opel (control chain , AGR etc. problems ) and VW (DSG , SUV etc. problems ) and will never do that again , moreover with a TZ at the German dealer 50% I repeat 50% cheaper than Astra and Golf ! German manufacturers unfortunately only live from your reputation and no more from the quality ! So a small “problem” I have but nevertheless with my KIA, after which I have rubbed the cockpit with a “dust flap” which was dry and clean were like “SCHLIEREN / KRATZER” on the cockpit, have tried to remove this with a damp cloth unfortunately these do not go away. How do you maintain your cockpit and by what means, someone still knows such problems and what can I do against it? Thank you MfG

Many different questions: Amplifiers ; Brake disc ; Warning sound
Hello, for now 10 months I am also the owner of a Ceed SW ED. So far everything is great, my last larger project was the installation of a Hifi system. But this was very tough: For the first time I had to overcome myself very much, because it was much easier with my last vehicle, I was also 10 years younger and no small daughter had to be supervised during the installation. There were questions like “what is an engine etc. still funny”. That’s how it is with little children. So the cables are all lying, even if I’m angry that I haven’t found a better connection for the remote than ignition + on the rear side of the radio (terminal A place 6). Now the first question: Where do I get to remote current that only gives signal when the radio is on? It works like this, but I would prefer to turn off the radio, too, and not only when I turn off the car. The rear right brake disc would have a blue ring and a red ring would have to be changed relatively quickly but the same axle. Now I tried to make myself smart because I’m dissatisfied in the workshop bitel lately with the high prices etc. but have found no statement that says must be changed urgently. Does anyone have any idea about this? And then another question: If I turn off the car and forget the light Unfortunately, he doesn’t complain, so no biep biep or something. Is that normal? I’d rather he would make a report before I do some stupid things in the morning. So hope the whole thing didn’t get too long, and someone would like to deal with my woes. Many greetings Manu PS: Probably it is handled just like in other forums, unfortunately the search for my questions did not fit exactly, however, at least similar problems were there but not Same.

Ceed has strange starting problems
Hello, I have a Ceed Bj 2009 since October 2011. He always has a Macke, which no one has repaired so far: sometimes he starts nciht. He then rattles, but somehow does not ignite. Sometimes he can be persuaded, if you give gas to it, but sometimes not and I need 10 attempts until he decides to start. Then he is also full. In general he spins when the radio was still on or the climate, then he usually doesn’t make it. The whole is mi r since the purchase happened about 20 times. It is not dependent on temperature (in summer as in winter) and also not on the service life (sometimes happens 2 times a day). In the workshop the battery contacts have been cleaned and oiled, because this is probably a known Ceed problem. However, the problem still occurs. The battery itself is by the way i.o. In the large 40,000 inspection in November one did not mention my problem, one has found allegedly nothing. Yes, the problem occurs j a never on when a mechanic is watching Do you have an idea what it could be? Does that pay for the great Kia guarantee? Oh yes, for a while I even had the feeling he’s going to kneel at the intersection when I’m standing and the climate and the radio are on at the same time.

Guns/carts/ squeaking while stopping *Videos*
My Ceed now has 4500km down EZ 11/2014 and for some time now I have noticed a creaking / crackling while stopping. Almost exactly at the moment when the car finally stops and springs in squeaks or crunches it short. No high-frequency sound but rather a mixture of squeaking and knarzen/knarren. Man can minimize the Gräusch though by slowly slowing down the car very early and looking ahead and then quite slowly comes to a stop but then it is not quite away. Di e Recommendation to ask for the brakes once correctly did not make any difference, so on the BAB exit once correctly to brake from 100 to 0 (warning blink went on automatically..). Last time I drove 600km at a time after that the noise was not gone either. I know the creaking when you go very slowly with automatic from the brake and the car fights against the brakes. But this sounds a little different. It’s still a little squeaky in it. I was short last week He said “they all have more or less” and he doesn’t think it’s necessarily coming from the brakes, but he can’t say now that you just exchange or grease a part of it and then everything’s gone. I’m sure there wouldn’t be anything wrong with it, but if it bothers me I can leave the car there for a day and they would look for it. Then I made an appointment for next week, but I’m afraid I’m not going to be able to do it. I’ve tried to record the whole thing. Do you have such a sound too? I don’t think that’s normal because you can hear it from the outside and I don’t hear it from other cars at the traffic lights when I’m standing there as a pedestrian.https://youtu.be/xo6JT1sICGIhttps://youtu.be/nYB9O_PrZUQhttps://youtu.be/hkSMUyjGznE In addition, the front and rear brake discs. I noticed that after the few km (90% long distance, the rest of the city) I already had a If I drive my finger outwards over the brake disc, you can feel a small rise. On the front, however, there is almost no transition. Workshop master said they would not change much at the back now. On the front, the 40-50Tkm would hold and on the back, 20Tkm longer. Hope you can see anything at all on the video.https://youtu.be/XVQglYZ2dzY

First engine block, now cylinder head
Hello dear community, I would need some advice on a given occasion and hope for support. About 10 months ago I had an engine damage in the form of a piston eater at my Kia Sportage 2.0 CVVT (2011) at mileage 100,000 km. Thanks to God I had a guarantee on the vehicle, so the engine block etc. was replaced at the expense of the dealer. The costs amounted to almost 6,000 euros. Since then the engine runs without problems. A few days ago during the F suddenly white smoke came out of the engine compartment, there was a squeaking noise. The heating also didn’t work properly, so it didn’t get warm in the interior. I immediately switched off the vehicle and didn’t move it any further. According to initial opinions of the workshop, it was the cooling system. Meanwhile, however, it is assumed that it is the cylinder head seal (ZKD) which is now also being repaired. Cost approx. 1,500 euros. Now my question: If the W can you assume that he is again fully functional and reliable? I understand that something can always happen with a car. But with the two relatively big things, I consider leaving the car. Can someone give me a few tips on this? Thank you in advance.

Purchase advice: Sportage Diesel
Hello Kia fans, for family reasons I have to leave my Audi A4 S-Line and need a family-friendly vehicle. 1. Is the Kia Sportage family-friendly or child-friendly, how big is the trunk? 2. Which diesel engine is good, the 1.7 or the 2.0? Is it true that Kia VW engines are installed? Are these then pump nozzle or common rail? 3. What is the terrain suitability? So not really terrain but long road, mountains etc.? 4. What are the weaknesses? 5. Are there z . Currently a new purchase discount or other? Rather new or used?
