  • Kia Picanto Gt-line vs. Nissan Micra 2017

Hello dear Motor-Talk municipality, have to get a small demonstration car in the near future. After a long search I find the new Nissan Micra and the newer Kia Picanto the cheapest.Have actually read a lot about both, but there is unfortunately no real information yet because they are quite new.Maybe someone has one of the cars and can share his experiences? To me I drive daily about 40km work path And in the year vl 2 times longer on vacation. The car would be I would have found a Nissan Micra with the N-Connecta equipment, would have included the 360 degree camera, bass sound system, driving light automtik, traffic sign recognition,key-less go and unfortunately no seat heating It is the 0.9 90 ps petrol with 2500km, which I would get around 13090€ The kia looks very sporty, which would be equipped with the Gt-line already great. To that would also be a sliding roof.I find the audio system very bad. a would have already 7500km which is not the world and would still be a normal sucker with 84ps. I would get 12090€. I looked at and drove with both, from the place I find both super nice and pleasant, you really do not believe that you are sitting in a small car ^^ only in the fond you can notice it there already, but that would not bother me because we are only a 2 household. The case room would be even better, especially if you are on vacation, although in the back seat also at kia From driving I have to say both are very good, although the steering was a bit better with the Micra. From the engine even if you often hear the 3 cylinders, I have to say I found the Nissan sharp also from the sound the kia was not bad, but the Nissan has accelerated me a bit better. Would be really great if you could maybe share your experiences, so that my decision is missing me a little bit easier especially since I was with Kia already advertises high with 7 years warranty, but even if the clutch or something happens after a short time, you would have to pay for it yourself anyway.Rejoice in your answers

  • Oil consumption CRDI ProCeed

Good morning, on my procedure there seems to have been increased oil consumption since the day before yesterday. I bought the car as a 2 year car and now drove 1000km. Everything is good. Now I drove on Thursday 250km. After 70km the warning light went low at oil level. But then I drove still finished and bought matching oil in parallel. Can happen. I then filled a total of 500ml and took a photo after 2h standstill. It was before filling exactly at the minimum and later maybe 2mm about it. Now I drove this morning and after 30km the lamp went on again. I find that strange. I go immediately when he has confessed a little look. But if the lamp concerns it will probably again be too little. My question is whether certain problems are known with the CRDI? In the workshop I have to go one way or another.

  • GPS clock time wrong today

Hello together, this morning the Ceed SW PHEV showed the date from last Friday with a time of 18.34 o’clock… Also the manual switch off and again the GPS time did not improve. I then set the time manually. On the second ride this morning the car – I think only a short time after the start – showed a completely wrong time, which had nothing to do with the manually set time. The GPS time was still switched off. After the start of the race the time was off. hold the time again. Surprisingly… Greetings Kubi

  • Original Kia rims

Hello community, I want to get new black rims for summer on my green ProCeed GT, have mine since October 23 and the rims for winter are black and that’s how it looks really good. My dealer meant the rims that are on the summer tires so cost around 600€ per piece, can that be? Of course I’m not so presumptuous to believe that I get 240€, sell even only the rims, wanted to have a price approach. By the way, I want to buy these here: https://www.giacu zzo.com/…llfelgen-dream-line-black-gloss-5529?… Thank you for your assessment

  • Inductive charging storage pointless?

Hi @ all! I drive a Proceed CD GT 2019 My standard “Qi” inductive charging tray is not worth its name. My smartphone (Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge) hardly loads, but it gets hot until the message comes that the phone is overheated and it has to cool down. A buddy also has the same problem in his Optima with inductive charging tray. What is it like with you? Charges your smartphone quickly without overheating? Greeting, Chris. 😉

  • Gear problems

Hello, I’ve been proud for 4 weeks owner of a Kia Proceed GT with the 7 gear DSG gearbox and super satisfied with the car, however, the gearbox in cold condition in the 3rd or 4th gear does not really turn up, it remains stuck in the respective gear, starts to jerk and it passes a few seconds until the gear is turned up, while the engine turns ever higher until eventually into the next higher, however, with the shift flaps I can normal up/runterscha lten, does anyone know the problem? The Proceed is built in 10/22 and has run 9,000 km, Facelift Model Thanks in advance greeting standards

  • Kia Rio questions

Hey guys, I’m interested in a Rio as a new car for me right now. I was already at the dealer’s shop and got a quote. I have only one more request, and it’s about whether I should take the front parking sensors from the accessories catalog. These should cost 330€ and are unfortunately black. However, since I order a white car and don’t want black sensors on white varnish, the coloration of the sensors would cost my dealer another 100€. And 430€ for nu I find front parking sensors quite violent. Especially because I leave things like sliding roof and metallic varnish away to save money. Has any of you possibly retrofitted parking sensors afterwards and can report on price and system interference? I would actually only be interested in sensors if they work with the rear one without any problems, i.e. the 08/15 sensors where you stick the beep on the dashboard. Do you need sensors at the Rio at all? What’s the clarity? I drove 4 years Polo 6n2 and got away with all these years without parking damage. That’s my first purchase of a car, so I’m sorry for my insecurity.

  • Kia Picanto 1.0 jerks and drinks….

My girlfriend has a Picanto 1.0 Bj.05. The car is spinning for some time and we don’t know any more… Looks like the problem is more common- the following has happened(I try in short form): Engine control light started to shine one day, are then read out to a nearby VW workshop for error- Diagnosis: camshaft sensor and ignition errors on cylinder 1.Now the car jerked off and the consumption rose to about 10 liters, especially b a uphill ride and backwards he almost went out-total power loss and just before we went down. We went to the workshop of my trust, there were ignition cables candles etc. checked, again the same error, motor lamp always went out short ; but it got worse and worse. At the Kia dealer one wanted to exchange the camshaft sensor immediately and we should expect with 1300 €. But since there is no guarantee that it finally everything worked we now have a We and they don’t find a mistake either, Lambda probe were checked and what I don’t know everything, on Monday Kia goes to install the camshaft sensor again. Since I have read on the Internet several times that some had the problem and put a lot of money into repair parts, I am really unsure what to do now, definitely this is the first and last Kia , we got him generously from the parents I haven’t found a solution with anyone yet. So I hope it’s enough, I have to ask for more details about the error codes again, the data are in the workshop. Would be really happy if someone knows something, the problem sucks slowly. Thank you Mfg. Micha

  • Inspection itself make tips

Hello I have a Kia picanto ta spirit sport from ’15 with 1.2L and 86ps. Since I am out of the warranty, because the car is not stocked, I do the inspection myself. According to Kia waiting plan was now oil, oil filter, air filter, brake fluid and pollen filter on the plan. What else could you do to do the little good and prophylactically counteract a wear? Petrol filter, belt, etc? I changed spark plugs at the last already. thanks already for a few opinions

  • Purchase advice 1.4 T-GDI, 140hp or 1.5 T-GDI 160hp

Hello together! Currently I am looking for a nice used Ceed/XCeed. I’m not quite sure if it makes a big difference whether the vehicle has a 1.4 T-GDI or 1.5 T-GDI. What are your experiences in terms of reliability, quiet running, consumption, driving behaviour? Which motorization should I choose and why? I would be happy about an exchange of your experiences Best greeting
