  • KIA Sportage QL BJ. 2016 – Front Headlight Bi-Xenon for Full LED?

    Hello together, have just got a problem with my KIA Sportage QL EZ.2017, my left Bi-Xenon headlight (Kia NR. 92101-F1100/F1130) is broken according to the workshop. The workshop wants to have over 2,000€ for a replacement. Can I replace both Schwinwerfer on the more modern LED Varainte instead (Kia No. 92101-F1010)? – Does this work from the fit? – Does the electrical connection work?   • All oils change wisely?

    Hey guys, I have a question today about oil changes of any kind. My Sorento XM FL 2.2 CRDi automatic from 2012 soon reached the 180,000 km and I want to drive the car for as many years as possible, ideally until the complete decay. Drive cars gladly to the bitter end. Conditions of use are normal. Mainly road in Lower Saxony, occasional use in the forest, no trailer, about 20-30 tkm/year. Soon I move to Hesse, as more use in the forest, clearly hilly geliger. I am superior to having all oils replaced once. Gearbox (without flushing), differential etc. Have you had experience and would you recommend it in general? Kia says that this only has to be done under difficult conditions. How loadable is that? I mean, I am at around 1000€ if I have everything done at the next service. Is that worth it or should I just drive until there are problems?

  • Right rear light permanently on

    Hello, at my Sportage 1.6 SL, the right (direction) rear light is constantly lit and no longer goes out. Position Light switch on automatic, turn signal on off. Fog light on 0. After closing the door and locking over FB, all the lights go out, except the right rear light. I already set the light on 0. I put the light on 1… then I closed the door, FB pressed 2x…everything out…except the right rear light. No matter which position I choose…if I then left with the FB Ele (2X press) it still remains. Maybe something quite banal and I don’t get on it? Would the rear light be removed tomorrow (2 screws) and let’s see if I see something visually. Maybe corrosion/crack currents? Are there circuit diagrams in the net? Or is this all about bus? Is maybe a electronics that I can sort of save? Would be grateful for tips.

    So, the over 1.5 years waiting time on my Diesel Platinum I don’t want to charge Kia negatively at all, because I thought I got something good for my money, but now the defects accumulate and it’s also hard to get a workshop appointment here at Lake Constance. Defects/misfunction/what bothers me after 11 tkm: – Window lift driver side for 1 week without function! Have found no solution yet – Automatic gearbox switches when it’s cold only after about 5 seconds only correct t and does not accept the gas and jerks – my tank cover is not planned, stands out about 0.5 cm / not flush, I had not noticed when picking up – the steering assistant is often not to be used and dangerous, he always drives on the far left, sometimes so close that it becomes dangerous, and he does other dangerous steering maneuvers e.g. when he no longer recognizes the line or is short-booing it. – after other vehicles I also find not optimal, he often makes uneconomical maneuvers.
