First of all the facts: Kia Sportage NQ5 Diesel, Allrad, GT Line EZ 23.08.22 Car purchase on 07.06.2023 at the company XY, annual car with 8800km mileage currently 63,500km engine damage on 12.01.2025 – a piston eater, a piston ring torn The damage of 10,000€ my workshop (Kia dealer), filed with Kia for billing via guarantee – Kia refused this cost assumption, however, because the prescribed inspections were not complied with appropriately. The first inspection should have been at 20,000km, but this information was not available to me. The car itself reported that the inspection was due at 30,000km – so the first seller entered it in the service booklet and also progarammiert in the AUto. The two inspections, which the car should have until today, got it – but then the interval did not fit. With this reason Kia rejected all the claims. My workshop recommended me the following: I should put the problem there and say that I know that the problem with this car is known. Ergo seems to have a problem there?! My workshop has my complete trust, I’ve been satisfied with several cars there for many years. It’s probably now on a wu The car is now standing there with knockout and I actually have to drive 100km every day. Is there anyone here who can give me an ultimate tip? Experience values? Of course, it all goes to the lawyer etc. But until then what happens, the car is probably 2 years older.

NQ5 radio station is not played after engine start
Hello, for some time the previous radio station (WDR 4) will not be played after the engine start. Only if you switch between programmed stations (WDR 2, 1Live, antenna etc.) will the playback take place. Multiple reset has no use. Does anyone else have that? Thanks for help!

Windshield stains and strong reflections
Hello, I’ve been thinking about posting this question here for a long time, but I decided to do it. I’m driving a Ceed GT MJ22. I’ve been bothered for a long time that the dashboard with loudspeakers, vents etc is strongly reflected in the windshield. Do you have the same problems or what could that be with me? I clean the windows regularly inside and outside, yesterday also made with silicone and wax remover and the dashboard also with so cockpitre After cleaning, I only saw yesterday, when I was heading towards the sun, that there are some spots on the disc, but I can’t get rid of them with any means. But can you really only see if the sun is shining directly on it, otherwise not, but these could also trigger the reflections or? Can they also be in the disc, or is that not possible? I already have I was driving, it was never as strong with the reflections as with my Ceed. Maybe someone can give me tips that have the same problems. Or just ignore it because you have no way to change it?

Window KIA Connect
Hi, the search didn’t show anything. I was looking for a possible window on/to-possibility via Kia Connect and honestly wondered why there was nothing to do with it. Is there a logical explanation why it doesn’t work even though the door is open/closed? In the summer 5 minutes before worktime open windows, or if you left the windows open in the morning and then make a gap because it would not be so complicated now in the app to impl As I said, the connection to the door opening and closing there is yes, why not for the windows?

Callback Kia Ceed 1.6 crdi BJ 2019
Hello, yesterday I had a letter from Kia in the mail that there is an urgent callback action for the 1.6 Crdi. According to the letter it should be the tandem pump and this should be checked and/or replaced promptly. Now I am dependent on the vehicle because I want to go Friday for 3 weeks on holiday. There I will certainly drive around the 5000 km. Now of course the question arises to me, is it really as urgent as it is in the letter and wa s happens if I stay with it? Does the guarantee expire or do I stay on the costs because I have knowingly gone on vacation with it? A cancellation of the holiday is not really possible and a rental car for the time also fails. Double clutch transmission – Switching from D to N while driving
Hello, is it harmful for a DKG transmission, especially with the KIA Proceed Gt, in the long term if you switch again and again from D to N to be able to sail? Sorento UM AWD Diesel 2.2 Automatic — Pulling while switching
Hello, since yesterday there was a crash in the Sorento UM (built in 2015, AWD Diesel Automatik) with 130,000 km of mileage. The problem suddenly occurred after about 60 km of motorway ride, after the exit from the highway (or when starting after a traffic light stop). I have not been driving since, test by test only very slowly and even after a day break the problem is still there. It ruptures both from switching N in 1 and between the higher gears. Results mi ttel’s search for forums suggests that it might be due to the gearbox and a change of the gear oil could possibly help. The gear lever still works without problems. Does anyone have similar experiences? Engine warning lamp does NOT glow (and has not lit up yet). I guess I won’t get around a workshop, but would be grateful for hints. Unfortunately, I’m not a car professional, but try to describe it as well. Thank you in advance for helpful answers.

Kia DSG / No “loosing” when operating the pedal
Hi, my sportage ( Gasoline / DSG doesn’t sporadically do what it should. Situation : Will after stop off and press the “Gaspedal”. Vehicle does not get at speed and does not start.
