Hello together, I wanted to ask you if you might have the same problems or know them. I was just picking up furniture with my girlfriend. We rented a “Kia Sportage 2.0 2WD LX” from her grandpa with 140 petrol hp (without turbo) for space. The vehicle weighs just 1540kg according to the vehicle’s license (empty weight). Compared to identically motorized vehicles like VW Sharan and the Ford Galaxy (140hp), we found that the engine does not “pull fish off the plate” *Dur No matter in which speed range, you don’t have the feeling that you have 140hp under the rear. The vehicle performance is not even comparable to 90hp of vehicles like the old Ford Escort 1.6l, Mazda 323F BA 1.5l. I would compare the power related to the weight to a Ford Fiesta JAS with 75hp in terms of acceleration, even at higher km/h numbers (120 upwards). My question to you… is that “normal” in the model? Hello Kia or all-wheel specialists, yesterday at my Sorento 2.5 CRDI Bj.1/2006 I had new tyres pulled up at the rear. On the way home I immediately heard that the rear axle (differential) makes noises when rolling out, which only stop when the speed drops below approx.30 KM/H. Would be great if someone could give me a hint why this is so and how to fix it. I heard something about the four-wheel drive with automatic gearbox somewhere when the wheels are axlewise I am grateful for each post Andreas
