Good afternoon, I bought a Kia Sportage last week. Lt my dealer ( EU Reimport ) Autozentrum Matthes would be to receive a Sportage 1.7 CRDI immediately ex factory. Delivery would be within 1 to 2 weeks. Now my question to you: Has anyone already had experience with this dealer? If so, how was it with the vehicle transfer with you? What I find a little funny is the vehicle transfer at another place where the dealer has his office. Is also in Cologne in one place. where there is only one office building, so not really room for every amount of car ́s. I hope one can help me. And if not I will do it next week at the latest if I can drive my own sports 🙂

Sorento rear wiper no longer switches off
With my sorento from 2006 the rear wiper became independent some time ago: He turned on himself and did not let himself off again, but came to rest after a while. Even if the fuse was taken out, the wiper continued. Only when the battery was disconnected, the wiper was also shut down. I had found out that I could get the wiper to stand, when I switched on the front wiper when the vehicle was shut down and then, if all of the wipers were closed, Wipe itself in the direction of rest position, the ignition shut down. This usually led up to two weeks ago also to the fact that the rear wiper gave rest when starting the vehicle. Now, however, it is the case that the rear wiper starts as soon as I turn on the ignition, and does not calm down again by itself. My KIA workshop could not explain this phenomenon, even two other KIA representatives in the surrounding area had no explanation ready. Iter immediately concluded on a defective relay, which can only be bought from KIA. But this diagnosis has not been accepted at the KIA-Werstätten. I was advised at a KIA-Werkstatt to have the appropriate electrical equipment measured. But my experience with “inexplicable” vehicle problems makes me suspect that this could lead to the fact that parts are replaced until the error is gone without really clarifying the cause. I so hope that someone here who understands so much about auto electrics can make a diagnosis based on my descriptions that leads me to the source of the error.

Kia Sportage III 2012 – Plastic border – White spots after car wash !!!
Hello, I have been a proud Kia Sportage III owner for 1 week (1.6 GDI in stowage byte blue) and have the following problem: I have washed the sportage today the first time in the washing box with a high-pressure cleaner. So far. But now I have around the car with the black plastic border, which is completely installed around the car in several places white spots in the plastic, which look like abrasions or something similar, as if the plastic had been dyed out. t not necessarily out normal, have 3 “extended” spots on the plastic on the wheel boxes and also smaller ones on the front of the light units etc. Is this normal? Looks optically “fearable”. Does Kia use cheap plastic here, which doesn’t even withstand a car wash? And I’m not talking about the plastic getting matter, like the tire rubber after several washings, it looks literally like “weaved” or as if the hot wash had bleached the plastic. icht!!! Am I the only one here who has determined this or can someone confirm it. Will definitely drive to the dealer tomorrow or the day after tomorrow and ask if this is normal, which I naturally don’t believe…

Customer service prices
Hello dear NG, had my sportage to the 1st customer service 30000km / 24 months at the KIA dealer on site (Reutlingen). Nothing special was done, no wear parts changed. The work was carried out according to the maintenance list. In addition, I wanted an air conditioner cleaning, the correct longlife oil was delivered by me with the approval of the car dealer house. At the collection I was somewhat surprised, the invoice made altogether, with waste oil disposal [15,00€] exactly 395,64 €. For a call in another KIA workshop, although a little further away, a price of 290,00 €. How does this come about? p.s. Did the other workshop also say own oil delivery and air conditioning cleaning. Something very surprising !!!??? Dear greetings Roland To the moderator: May original invoices be attached here?

Allrad automatically switches to Kia Sorento Bj 2006
Hello maybe someone can help me here. And indeed we changed the tires on Friday at our Kia and since that time the four-wheeler always turns on, although the roads are dry and there is no reason for a four-wheel drive. Since we are currently 300 km away from home (that happened with the four-wheel drive to Cologne) my friend wanted to remove the four-wheel drive safety, but we only know that it is the fuse 13. According to the Internet it should be the Beze I can’t find this in the safety box. Does anyone know here how the designation for the four wheel in the safety box is? Would be really great, as it’s not very great to drive with only 80 km/h 300km.

From Volvo and Mini to KIA Sportage….. ?? Big question mark..who has also changed
Moin together :- So far !!! I was a passionate Volvo lover, but more and more annoyed. Our current V70 needed a new clutch at 100k, last week at 130k engine damage. Will be repaired….otherwise nobody buys. And also many other “small” incidents. We slid through the area yesterday once, and also looked at a Kia dealer. The sportage liked quite well, and what is offered for money is really exemplary. arantie over 7 years also entices me 🙂 It’s clear that you can have really bad luck with every brand, but plenty of light is also time for a brand change 🙂 Where I am quite honest….Volvo and Mini wake up in me a different “boom feeling” than a Kia. But from the “prestige” age I’m also slowly out 🙂 Are there other changers who have not regretted the change to Kia and especially the sportage ?? I thank you very much ….. Michael PS…. the kia would then be our egg Nziges car; Volvo and Mini should go away. Need only one more

Kia Sportage 2.0 CVVT 4WD Automatic consumption!?
Hello all Sportage drivers, I have a question that bothered me a bit…. Have now 1480 KM with my Sportage 2,0 CVVT 4WD automatic and I am a little more than surprised about my consumption. Consumption according to ad currently 12,1 – 12,8 L on 100 KM!!! Well, that the Sportage is not on the way as a savings miracle now, that was already clear to me when buying… But I also relied a little on the statement of the dealer who told me: Consumption Combined 8,4 l City 10,8 l These are also the values that are in the brochure, and are certainly not to be taken seriously…. But 12,1 -12,8 L I don’t find on normal, non-sporting rides (city and highway) in the area of the normal…. Have already talked to the dealer and he meant that you have to check it out… My question to you, what consumption values do you have with your sports…. Would really help me to find out a few other values before I open up to the dealer. I’d like to know more…

Kia Sorento 2.5 Crdi JG 2006
Tagchen zusammen I have a problem with my Sori and would be happy if any of you had a cool idea. So….it was once a man and a Kia Sorento, man wants to drive but Kia doesn’t….. The doofe thing has run under increased idle, but the foot gas showed no effect. Read out OBD Code P0220 throttle flap pot or Fussgaspoti broken. Delete error memory and the thing runs again great…SUUUPER. I then replaced the foot gaspoti since he does not have a throttle. Well, the journey continues until, yes until one nice day (hot) after work the device does not run anymore, engine turns however from rings no trace. Battery pole terminal away – 30 sec wait – battery connect, start and drive away ……. au man ……….. Unfortunately after this action also nothing was in the error memory. (KIA does not know the EEPROM HAHAHAHAH). Does anyone have an idea ?? Would be hugely happy Gruss Locutos.

Long-term Quality / Vulnerabilities Kia Rio UB / 3
I haven’t found anything on the subject, so a new thread for my questions. The current Kia Rio has been on the market since 2011 and I am interested in long-term experiences with this model. Have any vulnerabilities emerged in the meantime? Were there childhood diseases? How long do the wear parts / the exhaust system last? Can anyone who has been driving with this model for many kilometers share their experiences about the long-term quality? I am for everything helpful in this direction, as a Kia Rio 1.2 built in 2011 (that the engine is lame and thirsty I already know) is in my narrow selection.
