  • Water behind hub cover !

What was quite curious to me and that, I noticed that the left wheel comes from the hub lid. I had the Borbet Y on it, I had nothing more to think about it but this morning itself case again. Until then I noticed that this can be rotated relatively easily because one nose or rather clip is broken while the others sit tight, got it also and there was water mixed with the pollen and possibly flying rust already from the water I think was a Ibe plörre. How can this happen since someone has no idea ? Can that come from the self washing system through the high pressure hose or from elsewhere penetrate or someone an idea ?

  • Car discovery – the agony of choice

Hello together, after having been helped in the Ford Forum, I try my luck right here too. Since you always read a lot about problems in forums, I would like to ask you about your experiences here. What are the tops or flops? To me… I am looking for a new car because my VW Jetta becomes more a piggy bank after 15 years. In my search I have already come across Ford Kuga/EcoSport and Opel Mokka. But now I also found the Ceed very attractive, because it offers a lot for the Pre is. Financially it would fit to the approx. 2000€ budget. I drive quad and my free time and would like to pull a hanger. Also I need enough space as soon as the family grows. I look forward to your experiences and tips, what you should pay attention to when buying. Stay healthy!

  • AUX to USB

Hello together, we had the topic with the USB port in the old thread, because there is actually only one and the 2. yes “only” serves for fast charging and the idea with a switch/hub (which does not work) came up. But the Ceed still has an AUX port, then you could connect a USB adapter and thus use it for a music USB stick and the “regular” USB port for the mobile phone…. Or does it not work with the adapter? Does someone vi Elleicht already tested? Greetings Hotzi

  • Leather driver seat color + good leather care

Good morning, the driver’s seat of my Proceed Gt is already starting to show signs of wear after 9000Km. I always keep a good fit when getting in and out, I am normal from the stature and always wear clean clothes. I will complain about this during the next maintenance and hope for a guarantee. In the net there are several people who already have the same problem after a few thousand kilometers. Here is probably the quality of the leather naja sol ala. I attached a picture of it. Still the place is relatively small, but I think that won’t stay that way for long. Now to the actual questions: Is there a reasonable leather color in black with which I can color this place(s) ? If yes, can you recommend me a product where the color has not disappeared already after 2 weeks ? Can you also recommend me a very good leather care ? Currently I use a kind of leather care milk from Nigrin, but with this bi I’m not really satisfied. Thank you in advance for your help.

  • Kia Ceed ED gross deficiency

Servus municipality the following : The girlfriend just purchased a Kia Ceed ED SW 2007 in January. The car had punched Pickerl (Austria) in October 2020, so it had just passed the check at this time. Now I noticed when changing the summer tires that on the front left the coupling rod on the side of the shock absorber completely rusted off. I have already talked with the legal advice and the opinion that on the one hand the private seller would be complainable ( since e In 6 months it is almost impossible, in my opinion, that so much steel rusts away -> they photos. I wanted to hear your opinions about what you think of the rust spot and whether the lack has already passed.

  • ProCeed GT fuel consumption commuter

I find my Proceed GT consumes an excessive amount of fuel when I compare it with other articles here (almost all already closed). Currently I commute about 10 km overland every morning. I hardly get less than 10l/100km consumption. Even when driving without a climb, I am at almost 10l on the consumption indicator. If I don’t commute, it is even worse from consumption. Once I am on the highway, it is virtually impossible to stay below 10l/100km. Some say here from 6,x or 7,x l/100km. How is that supposed to work? I have an overall consumption on the 5000 km so far from 10l/100km according to the onboard computer. Is that normal? I am currently a little worried.

  • KIA Proceed GT 2020 from Denmark no UVO

Hello together! I finally got my Proceed from Denmark. I have the KIA LIVE in the vehicle and can connect the vehicle also by hotspot on my mobile phone. However, I search in vain for the UVO that according to instructions with built-in SIM card automatically activates and does not have to be connected first via mobile phone. I have the menu item UVO but nowhere on the screen! Large navigator and digital tacho are installed however. Who has advice for me?

  • 1.4 CVVT suction engine in Kia ceed Sportswagon recommended?

Hi, for a family member I think about buying a Kia Ceed Sportswaggon. I can’t decide yet about the engine variant. Kia had a 1.4 CVVT suction engine with 99 hp available until 2019. What about this engine? After all, the engine has Euro 6 and the green badge. So you can drive to the city center. What about the durability? (In the past, suction engines were very robust) Alternatively, the 1.0 T-GDI with 101 hp would be considered. The family member who drives the car tends to drive more steeply. Is the fuel consumption in this speed range significantly different at all?

  • KIA Connected Services

Hello together, instead of dealing with the topic in the ProCeed thread, I have created a new one. The Kia support this connected service for Internet functions in the car. If I have read this correctly, the mobile phone must be connected to the car via WiFi, right? Does anyone have any experience with an LTE stick with sim card in the car? Instead of using the mobile phone as a hotspot with every use.

  • Problems with the rear axle Stinger 2.0T

Hello all, I have mentioned as in one of my threads problems with the track/road position at speeds from about 180 km/h upwards. Yesterday I discussed the topic with the uncle of my wife who runs a free workshop. He meant there is the rule that one can assume that all problems that occur over 100 km/h come from the rear axle. I mean here in the one or other thread to have read that with some polter noises from the hi Nteraxes have occurred. Are there any other problems with the rear axle known? Bzw. who can report how the polter noise problem has been eliminated? In advance Thank you! LG Eagle1982
