  • Rod edge brake disc

Hello together, I have again (at both Kia’s before exactly the same), a light lasting grinding noise of the brakes. At 76000 km, coverings and disc thickness are still possible. At the TÜV in December this was not yet as clear as in the photo, that the edge is sanded off at the top. Stand now before the question, whether a grinding and cleaning is still worth it. How did you handle this? Actually, one would have to consider this as a construction error, since obviously z u little space in the saddle is, for such a trained rust edge. Real annoying so something.

  • Dealer refuses to withdraw from the contract because “no delivery date has been set.” Is that possible?

Dear community, when I bought my Ceed SW Vision automatic, I was given a delivery time of 3-8 months by the dealer under witness. These 8 months are now around. So I went and announced that I would no longer want to wait and cancel the purchase contract. The dealer then took the contract and said, “We did not hold on to the delivery date, so there can be no delay.” I told him that he would have spoken to him again and again of up to 8 months, but he didn’t mind nte “no he would never do that”. Is there a universal time, which applies even if no deadline has been set. That you have to wait forever can’t be. At some point you have to be able to step back, right? Does someone have advice for me? And yes, if my Ceed is downgraded to 140hp, I’m happy, because then I will probably be able to cancel, but I don’t want to expect that now. Especially since the dealer had me sign a sheet (and I did it dum I would not sign again. Well, thank you for your answers in advance.

  • Purchase: Kia Ceed SW – Stand time about 3 months [new car/storage vehicle] – Stand damage?

Hello, I would like to buy a Kia Ceed SW. It is a storage vehicle at a serious, very large dealer from NRW/Westphalia. My father bought a Renault (order vehicle) from this dealer two years ago. The car is available as a storage vehicle (KM stand: 12 km) 22.11.2023 (since it was delivered from the factory in Zilina) on the premises of the dealer on a meadow (with about 2000 other vehicles of different brands). Background: The dealer builds ne My father has visited the vehicle for me, because it would have been a long way away for me. Everything as described. But now my concern: I have to see some flying rust (see photo). Shouldn’t it be a problem and solve itself again if you are driving. However, are other “damages” likely after this time? On a meadow (wet in winter) the car certainly wasn’t optimal. How does it look with tyres, underbody (rusted?), sc The price is very good. I would like to take over the vehicle at the latest by the end of February (then about 3 months of service life – is probably still within the scope). Yesterday for the visit by my father the car was “parked out” and now stands on paving stones (“yard”. From your point of view access? EDIT: Since directly the hint came: The dealer directly from himself actively reported a general preparation of the vehicle before handover oten. I assume it also includes flight rust, otherwise I would of course still address this (but don’t think it’s necessary).

  • A new Stinger

Hello, I’ve been reading with you for a month and yesterday I finally had the time to order a Stinger 2.2 AWD in Deep Chroma Blue at the car dealership. Now it’s time to wait, maybe it’s a Christmas present. In addition to the glass roof, this is also the Excellence and the big technology package with dynamic chassis. The last 180000km an Audi A5 3.0 TDi Quattro has provided me with good services, but now it’s time for a refresh. I’m going to have the engine, however, As a small toy I still have a 2015 Ford Mustang GT convertible standing around, so I didn’t have to buy the Stinger GT (I don’t think my driving performance would be good for the wallet). To me: 40 years old from the beautiful Thuringia near Ilmenau. However, I work from Frankfurt, i.e. the little one will commute between Hesse and Thuringia. At the moment, only one mod is planned (Kia badge exchange), but if I look at my pony, it will be there. probably not stay. :-p Greetings Björn

  • Noise from the steering wheel amaturation board

Meal together, have a flapping/polishing noise from the area left steering wheel/amature board or tacho unit. I can’t say exactly where it comes from. Worst of all, it’s audible when I drive over a cross groove/fuge but also when driving on relatively flat road it’s noticeable despite radio (loudness quiet). Did you already see that from jmd.? PS: I have neither items in the side pocket of the driver’s door nor anything in the compartment for the sunglasses etc.

  • Availability date: KW43-45

Servus together, I would be interested in who has already received his Stinger (which for the delivery period announced in the subject) or has a binding delivery date. Apparently our cars are all on the same damper…

  • Kia Ceed 1.6 GDI DCT Spirit battery is drained

Good day together, we hope for some help and tips here. At our Kia Ceed as described above the battery is drained. Today the diagnosis got, the troubleshooting was stopped. On 2 fuses were found 0.1 and on the other 0,8 amps in the stand. The search turns out very hard. Would like to give up our car now, because it still does not cause any problems. Car is from 2012 and has run only 62,000km and owns almost everything. our question: Did someone already have this problem with the creep current and can give us tips. Next week I should get more information exactly which fuses creep current contain Thank you :-).
