Hello guys, I would like to share with you a current experience. On Friday 10.01. I drove with the aim to order a Ceed SW (GT-Line, Lunar silver, hand switch with full equipment) to the dealer. The seller looked at me with big eyes and only said: so we certainly can not get it anymore! It turned out that only a few vehicles are still available in the production pipeline. From the SW GT-Line would still be a vehicle in orange and without further equipment v With the other Ceed models it doesn’t look much better according to his statement. You have to send yourself pretty much if you want to get a factory new Ceed. So that you get the desired configuration still belongs to a lot of luck. The tapes are changed shortly to the successor model. Greetings to the round Cecotto111

Refitting Ceed JD rearview camera
Hello, I have retrofitted an Android radio and would like to retrofit a suitable rear-view camera. I got an overview of what there is basically for cameras. I’m not sure how and where I should install the camera. Each possibility has advantages and disadvantages and I would rather not drill holes to find out that it was the wrong place. Has someone already retrofitted a camera here and can say something about the individual aspects? -Installer t: tailgate under logo, in the area of registration plate/marking lamp, in the rear spoiler. Where is the view best or if necessary bad? – Can the cables be properly threaded through the rubber sheaths into the tailgate or is it too tight? – Is the rear pole demountable so that the nut can be tightened inside, or is it glued? – How do you seal the camera when it is mounted with a hole in the tailgate? All cameras are delivered without seal. I would use a rubber seal. imatte cut, but have worry that it is not permanently tight or that the seal is brittle with time. – Mounting on the bumper: where is the cable led outwards and above all: how is the bore permanently sealed? Thank you for every tip greeting, Martin

Kia Ceed JD Lateral turn signal
Aloha! I’ve already Googled a lot, but I didn’t find what I’m looking for. It’s about a Kia Ceed JD Bj. 2015 My side blinker left is darker than the right one. Now I’d like to change the pears, but I don’t have a plan how to do it. Would be nice if someone could tell me how to do it. Bzw. how to get to the bulb. In the operating instructions it says: “Replace glow lamp of the side flashing lights If the incandescent lamp doesn’t work, leave your vehicle Check in a specialist workshop. Kia recommends turning to a Kia contract workshop.” But I think I can do that on my own.

General satisfaction Kia Ceed?
After many years with a company car of German manufacturers, the purchase of a private vehicle will soon again be on my agenda. The Ceed SW has aroused my interest. I find it optically successful and 7 years warranty are a strong argument. In addition, the prices are not as excessive as with most other manufacturers. Since I have no experience with Kia so far: how is your satisfaction with the ceed ? Thanks for all the tips and experiences

DCT 7 – Treatment as gentle as possible
Hi, I’m about to get the Ceed 2018 with DCT7 but here are a few questions about the switching/dome logic… My dad has a Q3 with DSG and this is the case with the brake kicked as follows: If brake slightly kicked up speed slightly and rolls off immediately because the clutch is already grinding slightly in the stand => Ergo bad for the Kulu Then I read that you should kick the brake a little stronger so that the DSG completely uncouples what it probably does because of the rotation fence. l identical to position “N”. Does anyone know if in this case the DCT 7 is really switched in neutral with both couplings closed without gear? Or is it like with the switch with kicked clutch (i.e. still pressure on the back plate and thus wear?!) What does the whole with activated autohold in D look like? Would that also like “driver stage” N not be put in gear and Kulu closed? I hope this is so far understandable, I just don’t want to make a mistake with the K and then annoy me when the DCT is in a bucket after 50000 km

Ruffled by Autohold
Hello together! Since a short time I have the following problem (with DCT): For example, I stop at a traffic light and use Autohold. The car also stops nicely. Now it should go on, I give gas and then you can hear a loud noise (sounds almost as if the brake cheeks are not completely solved). Without Autohold this noise is not there. Does anyone have something similar?

Wheels 1000. Ceed SW CD
Moin people, I hope I will be driving a Ceed SW MJ20 soon and the anticipation is already huge! Unfortunately, I don’t really know all about the rims/tire theme, but would like to buy him some new punches. With my 9 year old i30 SW this had always made a big difference! – Alu rims to winter bikes…. With the winter tires (steel rim) he looked really packy and with the aluminums I am certainly 5-6 times from people on the tank all the time I have now chosen the TA Dark 18″ with 45 ET by Dezent and according to the configtator, all this should fit in such a way and be non-intrusive. I’m just a little unsure, since there are always differences with 5 different rims/tire configurators, although this should be technically all the same. Would I be happy if one could tell me if this combination is so ok. Or rather 17″, because otherwise comfort is lost? r, that then always some effect is lost and the Ceed is already quite high anyway, although the vehicle itself is relatively low. Thank you.

Air conditioning without function, hot engine compartment passenger side
Hey folks, my 11-month-old Proceed GT now has the first problem at 14TKM, of course, right now that I am dependent on the car, because I have to drive my terminally ill dog through half of Germany for treatments. The following: On Friday on the way to the animal clinic towards FFM I noticed that the climate no longer has any function and only “hot” air comes out, no matter what attitude. When I turned off the car, I noticed that the engine room space passenger side I am not sure if I also have a power loss at the final speed, but somehow there was not much left at 220km/h, but did not attach much importance to it. When I realized that with the heat, I then drove more slowly on the way back. So, the friendly ones in the surrounding area have of course no appointment available at short notice and the (top) dealer, where I bought the car is I’m going to present it to a Kia/Lada dealer tomorrow, who doesn’t have such a great reputation. But I’m very dependent on the car right now and if it’s a “little thing” (unlikely with my luck), he could fix it. I checked on Marderbisse but couldn’t find anything, the car is always in the garage. The first maintenance was carried out 2 weeks ago. What does the swarm intelligence mean here and how does it look guarantee-technically? from? Thank you so much, Marco

Android Auto – Pre/rewind MP3
Hello! I have connected a Samsung Note 10 (before Note 8) via Android car. I have the problem with both MD Player and JetAudio Player that I can’t really rewind. If I hold the flip switch down to the right of the steering wheel, the current track will jump back 4-5 seconds. If I stay on it, nothing will happen. To rewind – say 20 sec – I have to skip the button, wait a few seconds and press it again longer. If I press the button again too soon, the track will be played from the beginning. Since I hear vilele audio books, this behavior is really frustrating. Do you have an idea how to do it better? LG

Scratched, unround sums from the engine range when giving gas and cold start
Hi together and happy new year for the first time! For a few weeks, my process at the front unfortunately sounds very unpleasant as soon as I start it or give it any gas afterwards. With the open bonnet you notice that the noise definitely comes from the area of the engine. It gets a bit better when the car is warm, then you hear it especially at low speed. I was once at Kia and these looked at it at short notice and could not detect anything as well as the sound generator excluded I’m supposed to report again, if it gets worse. I think it’s also subjectively more unpleasant, it runs pretty rough. But you can notice no differences in driving technique, it drives very well as always despite the cold. Is there someone here who knows the problem based on the video? It’s always hard to record something like that, even in the interior it sounds like an unround whirring or buzzing. Nevertheless, I will make an appointment with Kia, forgot about the procedure of the neighbour. n and it sounds completely quiet and round in the engine room. The car is about a year old and has only 8000km on it.
