Moin, someone has a Proceed GT-Line of 2023 (no extras/no additional package) and can use the function “Outer mirror electrically foldable”? Reason: I was close to KIA for the first inspection 1 week ago (not the seller) and indicated the lack: External mirror cannot be folded electrically(I recently wanted to use the first time). The employees looked at this and the service said at the end “does you know that the car has this?” and as a reason the price of the spare part for my car is mentioned. In the Proceed price lists, however, 2022/2023 “Outer mirror is heatable, electrically adjustable and foldable” with the GT-Line variant. My Proceed has both the button over the window lifter and in the system the function automatically folds the external mirror. When pressing the button you can hear nothing of the exterior mirror. The seller, who unfortunately is a bit further away, sees it as I and thinks it has to work. Since I can not even look at the seller, I should see the KIA for the dealer and the dealer.

I am very satisfied with the Proceed GT (facelift), only I don’t need the sound of the exhaust system or is the system too loud in normal mode. Is there something against having the final silencer of the GT replaced by the Proceed GTline (160hp) or the XCeed GTline (204hp)? This would have to make the exhaust system quieter? The loss of the flap function would be fine for me. I understand that the GT has two tailpipes and the GTline models only one, but also these tailpipes would have to fit under the GT, right? Moin, my question should you sell the car if you still get good money for it or prefer to drive until nothing goes on? Am I thinking of selling my Proceed GT and getting something newer. I could drive it for 2-3 years but of course it also loses value and you would have to pay against it if you then sold it.

Hello, I’ve had a car for a few weeks now. Basically a nice car, however, the inaccurate indication of the kilometers up to refueling is annoying. Under a consumption of 7-7.5 li it is initially indicated that up to 610km would be possible. However, the kilometers fall significantly over the amount of consumption. When refueling the vehicle (refuel when lighting up the indicator, about 40km) however, instead of just 50li (capacity ) only 38 li. Returns the rest of 12 Li. What with above consumption would be over 100km and not the mentioned 40km through the vehicle. Have read and heard about a buffer, however, that seems to me a lot of buffer. A car dealership says that this must be so, another car dealership says that the system is simply sluggish and I should save the kilometers every time after refueling. What now? So it’s the first really hot days since I’ve been driving the ProCeed, but I really notice that the cooling is not really outstanding. With my last CeedSW (and even the two Rio’s before) there was always ice-cold air – now I don’t ask for the exact temperature – from the ventilation. With the ProCeed the air is already cool, but not initially as clear as with my ‘Ex’. Even after 20 minutes driving time, the ventilation is somewhat overburdened with full gas (i.e. air on ‘Lo’ at 29° outside temperature). Did Kia save something there? Or do I have to make an appointment and have the filling level of the refrigerant checked? Can a new car with just 2,000km actually hardly be.

Hello Kia friends, with my Ceed Bj. 2019 the steering wheel is now after about 4 years out through the sun. I admit that I mostly place the Kia on my parking place, where the afternoon sun shines on the dashboard and on the steering wheel. Since I have been retired for about a year, the car is also longer there. On a ride in the summer the sun always shines on the steering wheel due to construction. On the detailed picture it looks like a coating, however, is none. Furthermore, I have not cleaned the steering wheel or treated differently. The surface is from the feeling also Rauh/Stumpf. I also have a garage, where the car is in the meantime also standing. In addition, bad weather, as also in the winter a different sun stand. So not always the sun shines in the car. I do not know such a problem with other cars at all. There was a warranty/bulance request at Kia, however, which was rejected. According to the workshop there is only 3 years warranty on steering wheels. So who has such problems, or knows the cover?
