Hello people. My friend wants to buy a Picanto. However, the reimports are much cheaper than the Germans. I was told by a dealer that the imports were not built for the German market and therefore rust very quickly. The sealing doesn’t have to be so great to withstand with our wet-cold weather. So the statement of the Kia dealer. Is that true or did he just want to sell a more expensive one? Is an import worth or do we get too many problems ? Ask for your help. MfG Utb

Kia Picanto?
What are the pros and cons for buying a Kia Picanto? What have you experienced with this vehicle? What are the problems? What is it like compared to a Toyota Aygo or Peugeot 107 or Citroen C1 or VW Fox? What about the warranty?

Picanto: Gasoline <-> Diesel
Dear forum participants, the difference between the use of a diesel and petrol unit is not yet clear to me. 1. The diesel’s tax is higher + 100 € 2. The purchase price is higher +1000 € The consumption is cheaper (calculated at 15,000 km) ……………………………………………..- 300 € Is a diesel only suitable for long distances or would it wear more if the journey to the workplace, for example, is only 6 km? can diesel cars take more maintenance than petrol? Can diesel cars take more frequent start-ups than petrol?

Winter tyres Kia Picanto
Would you like to know the size of the tyre that the Kia Picanto needs. Get it next week and would like to inform me in advance. Where do I find the size or does any of you have the 2006 model? Thank you very much.

Experiences Kia Rio (model 2005)
Hello! My friend wants to replace her aged Peugeot 106 with a new car next year. The Kia Rio built since July 2005 is very nice to her (and me) and seems to be very good about the price/performance ratio. Can you tell me about your experiences with this model? In particular, I would be interested: I found a lot here in the forum, but not yet a real report of experience The car newspapers are also a bit difficult and even in the archives I didn’t find any tests. Too bad! Would be great if some of you would tell me your opinion/experience. Thank you! Greetings Hendrix1000

Kia Picanto S
Hello together, we bought a new Kia Picanto last week (2018 Model) and I have a question to the owner of the same model about a little something. If you open the trunk and look at the back of the backrest, there is a Velcro fastener at the bottom of the backrest near the trunk floor. If you remove it and fold it up, you can attach two thicker cross wires (mash wire thickness) and several clamps as parts of the fabric seat cover g. For some reason, the top of the two transverse wires is curved in the middle and the bottom one is not. Wanted to ask if this is also the case with another model (for whatever reason) or if the wire is simply bent or arched in the same way. It is not easy to straighten the curved transverse wire and maybe it belongs to the same way. It is the larger (60%) of the two backrests. Would I be happy if one of you Picanto owners (current model) could look up ka nn. The Moose

Engine problems with KIA Picanto 1.1
First of all, I would like to leave a little hello here and for your time you need now to read my confused thoughts and perhaps also to say thank you. It’s about a Kia Picanto 1.1l Bj.04 (petrol) The engine control lighted up for longer, but without any changes in the driving performance characteristics. It also happened once again for a week from then again a few days. Now it comes unfortunately, after my last ride, not spared, highway, The control lamp suddenly started to flash. Other apparent errors, it obviously only ran on three cylinders. Problem solving from me: new spark plugs, no changes. Ignition cable checked, no change candle picture viewed: Cylinders 3 and 4 are the candles wet, no combustion, or hardly. Ignition coils viewed, are divided, unfortunately exactly the wrong cylinders. The both ignition coils are broken like a lotto sixer, I don’t get that either… ! He is now standing in the workshop and there they are also not smarter than me. Diagnosis box connected, hundreds of errors. It is also somehow clear if the car runs only on 2 to 3 cylinders. Crankshaft screw has been replaced after engine damage. I hope one of you has heard of this car before.

Traffic sign recognition > Warning?
Moin, on my Kia Ceed SW PHEV I have activated traffic sign detection. So I see in the Navi and the other displays when a speed limit has been detected. Is there a possibility that I will receive a warning if I exceed the speed? I haven’t found anything in the settings so far. VG Björn

Car just delivered, small damage and confusion.
Hello friends of the well-kept Kia Proceed GT. I was lucky to be able to order one of the last GT variants and this one was delivered today. I had the opportunity to inspect the car directly from the truck. Unfortunately, I noticed two or three things that didn’t go so well. Once I have small various scratches in the back of the diffuser and in the above piano lacquer. But that is clearly repairable or replaceable. So I hope na Is there anyone who knows if this is replaceable? Besides, the two light bars don’t meet each other. Is this adjustable or repairable? Does anyone know that? But what I would be interested in burning I would have two stickers on the tailgate. Once at the bottom right and once at the top of the tailgate, where Modify is on it. Does anyone know what it is with these stickers? At no other Kia do I have the stickers found. in the trunk is of course still the trailer coupling which has to be installed. Does it have to do with it? Maybe we have an expert who might work at Kia and knows if such cars, if they had coarser scratches etc. after being painted, repaired way of relationship? Thank you for your honest feedback.

19 inches for XCeed
Hello municipality, I’m new here and from next week also Kia XCeed – driver. I’m coming from the Skoda Superb corner. I’m looking for 19 Zöller for the XCeed for the coming summer. So I’m working back into the matter, but I have the feeling that the selection is apparently low if you are looking for models where no conversion work would be necessary. Maybe I have had bad luck with the search so far. My question would be: has someone already 19er at the current XC eed in use, where no conversion work was necessary? And how big can the ET be, so that they do not stand out of the wheelhouse? Greeting and beautiful election evening Thomas
