  • Exhaust gas temperature sensor

    Gude people, I have a problem with my Kia Optima. The MKL lights up constantly and also let the error read out and also delete it again. The error was P247100 circuit exhaust gas temperature sensor series 1 probe 4 Vorrkat DPF signal too high. I now let the sensor change cost about 350€ with installation at Kia. Problem after 4 days went on again the MKL. What can this be a problem?

    The ADAC has tested the accuracy of fuel consumption of board computers. The XCEED 1.4 T-GDI has a deviation between computer and actual consumption of 0.0%. That’s great, isn’t it? Many “premium manufacturers” have significant deviations. https://www.adac.de/…/

Something from the house Hankook, Kumho, Cooper, Vredestein or Nokian could be it. With Nokian I had quite positive experiences on my ix35. So with the 17-inch variant, I already knew in something I take. But I think – w It is surprising that there would be a good offer – also the 18-inch version with the tyres in series size (235/55-18). Quite apart from the fact that what I have seen so far was clearly above the 17-inch level, I have not yet found a rim, in which – with the 235 tyres – there would have been some kind of edition, which requires adaptation work (wheel runs/wheel houses at the rear, for example). That would be absolutely out of the question for me! a tip for a rim (of course not the KIA-series rim) and/or drives even such a wheel/tire combination with TPMS and in 18 inches.   • Electrical error? Rear fog lamp remains on

    Hello everyone from the forum, I have a problem with my fog lamp since today. This no longer goes out after I had you on. Even when the vehicle is switched off and left the lamp is still on and sucks the battery empty. For information: I had an AHK installed by Kia and the car house now suspects that the error is here. If someone has any idea which fuse the fog lamp is so that I can pull the fuse and my battery is not empty until the Kia workshop can take care of the matter.   • Turbo defective? Power on highway suddenly gone

    Hello together I’ve been adding a new Kia Stinger for a good month. Newly picked up from dealer with 50km. Now I’m at 1,000km and allow me to be a bit more sporty after the entry phase. From sport mode to the highway entrance and then, suddenly during the acceleration…, no more power. Turbo indicator on the right side stands on 0. Partly a very small bar that appears and disappears. The Stinger only drives without turbo/without construction of the charging pressure . 0 BAR Neither smoke comes from anywhere from the vehicle, nor smells anything strict. I don’t hear a whistle from the turbo either. Motor lamp or anything else doesn’t glow either. It wasn’t like I did a kickdown. Can you possibly understand what it might be, before I go to the dealer..? And as I said, the vehicle was always driven comfortably during the 1,000 km. Thank you!

  • Surrender fan on headlights?

    Hello together, I mean, I always noticed that a kind of fan runs after when you turn off the vehicle and the light is on for a moment, is that so? Today when you park the car a small fan (not the engine fan) ran still a moment, this time it sounded like a mixture of ultrasonic toothbrush and dremel, as if leaves were hanging in it. I couldn’t find anything because of lack of sufficient light. My question: is there a fan somewhere? e.g. a fan , which cools the bulb or something?
