  • Need urgent help I’ve lost all the keys

I lost my last key from my Lancia kappa 3,0 i, it was the only one. I didn’t have a code card and can now, according to Fiat/Lancia, except door lock, ignition lock, both ECUs don’t exchange anything!? Who has advice for me? I could, if I get the car open, expand the door lock, write the number that is written on it, get me such a key to the car. So Fiat/Lancia. Can, however, since no code card is available and it is not a master key w Fiat would like to have about 2000 Euro. Can someone decode the ECU if I would get the key or one who has a different idea. The EZ: 01.06.1999. It is already an unding that something like that is produced at all. It is a C1 lock.

  • I did it…The Delta is ordered 🙂

Hello, after a long time back and forth and mature consideration I finally ordered (m)a delta 🙂 An Oro 1.9 Twinturbo in nadir pearlt with 2-zone-climate, alarm system, xenon, hands-free device, parking assistant, 18-inch, mod. trunk, techno-package and Bose-system. I am totally happy!! Now only the miserable waiting starts… 6-8 weeks it should be. Later in the year it should become even deeper incl. distance disks. But now I have in another thread. @ db69: Does “summer” mean something like after the summer vacation or could I already enjoy it? My car is already subject to a light model care, because the chrome-plated double exhaust pipe is now (at least in Germany) also for the Oro Twinturbo series (so far this was only the case for the Platinum).

  • Need expert advice lancia Elefantino –cooling–

Hello together, My problem: The water in the balance tank cooks when opening the closure, the temperature of the indicator slowly climbs up to the red area and then jump to the red area with light on the indicator lamp, light water loss, approx.0.5 liters/100km fan does not sping on In the lower speed range stutters the motor(in idle) this goes back to the normal range as speed rises Then the K described in the first section och, which brings the temperature back to the normal range by refilling approx. 0.5 L water, and the same starts from the front. When the cooling water hose is pressed with an open balance tank, it feels empty, when the container is closed it is under pressure but it does not feel like it is filled with liquid. am grateful for every tip

  • What is and what can “DFN” do in the Delta?

Hello, today I am for the first time in this forum “on the way”. More by chance we got into the Lancia brand in our search for the next car – there is only a very thin dealer network here (saxons). Since we are “fixed” on automatic vehicles, today we have tested the 1.8 (200 hp) – great car – only for us too “durable” (in the village more than 10l/100km!). Therefore we have inevitably come to the 1.4l turbo diesel with DFN – probably the only further engine variation ante with automatic. Unfortunately, our dealer is not able to explain how this (half-)automatic works! Maybe you can help there? And then we would like to have the car as quickly as possible. Where are such deltas “bearing”? What experiences do you have with regard to harmony between automatic and motor – do the 120 hp? Thank you for your help

  • Phedra water loss

Hi people, have since about 4 weeks also run a lancia 126000km and namely the phedra 2,2 jtd. beautiful car as always at lancia. only I have a problem. as soon as I drive autobahn, he pushes out water or loses water. in the stand is nothing to see. have brought the car to fiat, have changed a hose and were the opinion nu everything is good. in the city and on land road everything was also good, only on the highway stop not, again water loss. again workshop (fiat) after a week I picked up the car, they have allegedly found nothing more, it came the message of those, the engine has to be pulled out and pulled off. I have to say, no water in the oil, no qualms, no jerking or bad start. well, ixh took the car stop again. I brought the new cooler sealant and made it in. then drove around, but as soon as I drive around 120 kmh or more he pushes out water. so, since now this ze ug (brown water) is in it, I can now finally see where the water came out. he pushes the water out of the supply tank somewhere. strange is, with fiat it doesn’t stand out. now to ask, someone has had that, could that only be the cover or is there something about the head seal ? again, so on normal ride nothing happens, also he does not get hot, always stays around 90 degrees, even if water is missing. by the way, with the radio I also have problem, well, vi, cd everything works, only he doesn’t find any transmitters, just rush. gr. blues

  • Help, Lancia’s getting chryslerized!

I drive a Musa, which I also appreciate for his look, but what happens now with the new “Lancias” is just shocking. The new Ypsilon is still the least evil (even though he has a Chrysler-grill). The new theme, Phedra, Flavia are no longer Lancia, but plump Chrysler. Where is the Italian style rule? Chrysler design simply can’t arrive at incarnate Lancisti. I will never have a Chrysler with Lancia-L buy ogo, then rather Fiat or Alfa Romeo, at least as long as they are not still Americanized. Musa and Delta are stylistically o. k., but now it is only downhill. Why does not a New Fulvia coupé come, why not a Stratos from Italian production? They would be balm for the brand image. Marchionne does everything wrong at Lancia. Dear Lancia friends, buy the last Lancias with Italian design, produced in Italy as long as I can. In this context, I would like to thank the rapporteur for his excellent report.

  • Buy Delta III

Hello Lancisti, just wanted to ask me who bought the Delta III here in the forum or could at least imagine buying the car. Interesting in this context would also be things like wish color, equipment and motorization.

  • Buying advice. Lancia Kappa Coupe

dear lancia fan community, I play with the idea of buying myself a beautiful lancia kappa coupe in the spring. this car should not serve for everyday use, but rather for the next three years as a “Sunday stroll” vehicle. I had a lancia delta and theme already 20 years ago (with which I was very satisfied), and my father still owns a very beautiful ferrari-red lancia trevi volumex in his “shine”. n, whether the kappa coupe can be driven without major problems and overt maintenance. of typical “problems” not to mention. e.g. rust? also about the different motorization I am in the unclear. why kappa coupe? the car I like externally and internally very well and the few used on the market are now still affordable. I want to invest as start capital about 4 t€ (purchase) plus another 2t€ for “make fit again”. I am very excited about your feed-backs t! many greetings from stuttgart alfonso

  • Chiptuning with engine with high mileage

Hello guys, I would put a chip box in my Kappa 2.4 jtd. Not because I am a speed freak, but the car should save fuel then. Unfortunately, my Kappa already has 250,000km on the speedometer, but runs very well and without problems. Only with fuel prices nowadays would such a box pay for itself within a very short time. Now the question to the specialists among you: Is it advisable or should I try it? And if not, why not? Where is hi he the danger? Thanks in advance!! mfg Wolfgang

  • Bye-Bye Lybra

Soon it will be time: we have to separate ourselves from our Lybra. Too bad, but unfortunately the defects accumulate to a degree that it is no longer worth repairing everyone. My workshop thinks that without the smaller (and larger) bumps 4,000 euros would be due. And then at the latest next year again TÜV and timing belt change… Well, that will be too much for us and since the operating/traffic safety is no longer so 100%, we have to split up slowly! And probably also from Lancia and Fiat. At the moment there is nothing that my wife and I like: the delta is nice but not really a family carriage, because we like the Bravo better, but is even less suitable as a family companion. Only the Alfa 159 holds up the flag of the SW, but unfortunately it is a bit too expensive…
