Hello all, I have a problem with my 2020 ́er Kia XCeed. 1.4l 140 TurboPS, running 15Tkm. Was a daily registration with 20km. So, the problem apparently exists only in heating automatic operation with switched off climate, i.e. warm air. Logically in the cold season. Mostly at the beginning when the warm air comes after 90° water temperature, rather it makes hardly sense for me to pull warm air, it smells strongly like burnt plastic I would think. It is so extreme that I have to open the window at first. What I have found when I try it out, if I don’t control the warm air in automatic mode without air conditioning on the ventilation exits in the middle (i.e. directly in the middle of the vehicle / passenger room) the smell is hardly noticeable or not at all. Conclusion, the smell is the most extreme when the warm air is blown into the footroom in automatic mode without air conditioning. What makes sense, because warm air rises. eb I wouldn’t be able to say. Now I don’t know if I’m just imagining this, but I guess it has something to do with the ventilation ducts towards the footroom. But can that be and what could be the cause? Now I have some clues like inverters, heat exchangers, heating converters spiral, electric heaters (if mine has the as Tsch. re-import at all), but don’t it always smell from every ventilation channel? With the route options, you have the option to avoid the highway. If I have chosen the option, the navigator often wants to send me over motorways anyway. Here comes a hint, which contains the route : then the highway symbol is to be seen. Is there a way to definitely exclude it, because this is the way the function is meaningless.

Good morning together, I have a question for you. Unfortunately I am also affected by the “pull-like acceleration”. Now I drove a longer distance (~ 25 km) full throttle on the weekend. The top speed of 230-235 km/h (according to the tacho) on the flat track was relatively constant, which actually can not correspond to 225 km/h. However, in sport mode at Kickdown ( 4.speed 150 km/h) the speed and speed remained the same, only when manual switching in gear 5 it went on treacherously. It felt like an eternity until I reached about 200 km/h. Did you have that extreme too? The above-mentioned top speed was reached in aisle 6 and not in aisle 7, is that correct?

Hello dear forum, I noticed shortly after I bought my Xceed PHEV, that the rear right speaker is only half as loud as all other speakers. Because of the error he is now in the workshop. Kia Germany told the workshop what they have to test. They found nothing, quite the contrary, they still have an Xceed demonstration vehicle, also with standard sound system, and there it was exactly so. The rear right speaker is quieter than the left !? Lt. measurement, both loudspeakers should be defective, but it comes out music!! Something doesn’t fit.

Hello dear forum members, I hope for a tip. With my old Kia Ceed SW (2010) the tank flap opens when you pull the lever next to the driver’s seat. So I don’t have a actuator. Unfortunately, this doesn’t work anymore (even if it doesn’t have a minus degree). If a second person pulls the lever, I can use the key to unlock the flap. In open state, you can see that the mechanism pulls back when you pull the lever. So it seems to go. The one that usually pushes the lid open and may be broken? I can’t see anything. It’s not on the rope pull. Is there a tip? Best regards!

Hello, I didn’t have the problem myself my wife is driving mainly by car. Every now and then when the car is already warm the power/speed probably goes back in Untertourig then the engine control light flashes shortly afterwards everything is normal again. Does anyone know the problem? Very sporadically the error… Thanks
