  • Ignition plugs change only after mileage or even after time

Hello, my XCeed will soon be 5 years old and has approx. 28000 km on the clock. My seller has unfortunately been terminated and now I have to go to another. I have now got an appointment with the other dealer and according to my documents only an oil change service is provided after 5 years. In my question about the costs I was called about 400 Euro. On my request why so expensive with an oil change I was told it also the spark plugs after 60 months have to be changed independently from the running performance. In my operating instructions only after 75,000 km. Has something changed there? Kia wrote that what to do is in my documents. Can it be that it is dependent on the year of construction? Kia itself really is no help. I don’t want to pay for my warranty but also not useless things.

  • Hybrid – Fan noise in the trunk

Hello together, At my Kia Ceed the battery is always completely empty in the morning. I measured the battery, which is still top. But I noticed that in the back of the trunk there is permanently fan noise. If I am not mistaken, the hybrid part is in the trunk. I assume strongly that because the rear is running permanently, the battery is constantly empty. Currently, the car is very rarely driven. Even if the key is away from the vehicle and the vehicle is closed, this fan runs in the back or there are still these fans noises. Can this be the cause? If so, how can I get the fan out of the hybrid part? SG Marcel

  • Consumption of Ceed SW PHEV

Hello together. I have been reading here for some time and try to collect information about the long-distance consumption of a Ceed SW PHEV MY22. Background is; We want to go to Croatia in 3 weeks and I would like to know how far you come with a tank filling. The tank at the PHEV is only 37l large and I have not had the opportunity to test the consumption or the range over a longer distance with approx. 130 kmh. Thank you in advance for your reviews.

  • KIA CEED SW BJ22 gives too little “gas” to keep pace

Hello, I’ve had the problem for a few months now that my KIA Ceed SW 1.0 BJ22 sometimes has no power at all uphill. The problem usually exists either the whole ride over or everything runs smoothly. Short error description, when driving with a problem: The car accelerates somewhat carrier than usual up to approx. 100km/h. From then on it basically hardly any more. Neither with cruise control nor with “full gas”. In the course of minutes it comes at some point to 130km/h and can also keep it short as long as it doesn’t go uphill. But as soon as only a touch of slope comes it loses massive speed (depending on duration and slope on below 90km/h) and whether I give full gas or not, whether I switch it down or not, it doesn’t accelerate any more. It’s no control light, the only thing that strikes me is that the fuel consumption indicator under approx. 10l/100km “fixed”. That means that the engine consumes no more than about 10l later, although it’s more to keep up the pace or I’m going through full. However, the test has not been able to find anything at the speed.

  • Kia cee’d Sportswagon Vision Plug In-Hybrid

Hello together, I would like to hear your opinion about the following offer:https://suchen.mobile.de/…/details.html?… I’m looking for a new used one because my move has completely changed the driving profile and I want to sell my beloved Seat Loen 5F Diesel now. It’s supposed to be a hybrid (pure electric is not possible for now, possibly later as a second car for the woman). We will have a solar system on our roof in the medium term. Because of the required space it’s supposed to be a combo. Actually only a Seat Leon and Skoda Octavia, and of course KIA. I myself have never really had contact points with KIA yet, so I need your help. What would speak for or against the above offer: Pro: AHK, color, realistic little km, no maintenance stamina? 8-fold tire change still has to be done?

  • Winter Complete Wheels for Kia Xceed PHEV Platinum Edition

Hello together, does anyone know which winter tyres can be driven on the vehicle Xceed PHEV Platinum Edition? According to COC certification only 18″ 235/45R18 94V 7.5Jx18/ET45 are possible. My Kia dealer offered me only 16″ as I made him aware of the COC he then said only 18″. I leased the vehicle and therefore do not want to invest 1400 € in an additional tire set. If the vehicle is not delivered in the Platinum Edition are also 16″ possible. Why in the Platinum Edition then only 18″? Are 16″ tyres also possible? Do they have to be registered separately or are there a list of approved tyres listed by Kia? Somehow everything a little funny. Which tyres / rims do you drive in the Platinum Edition? Thanks, Greeting Ingo

  • KIA Proceed GT – New car or annual car?

Hello, I’m just about to get a new car in the second half of the year and the Kia Proceed GT convinced me very much. I currently have a budget of about 27,000€, if I could wait a little longer I could also go up to 30,000€. I have no special requirements except virtual cockpit. Otherwise, electric adjustable driver seat would be quite nice, but don’t have to. A facelift would be very good because of the longer warranty because of the younger age, and there I like the virtual cockpit from the design better. I have now read and heard a little bit that you can negotiate with new cars relatively simply 15%+ from the list price. Now my question would be, I find the facelift as a demonstration car between 800 and 5000 km (which would be no problem for me as long as it is about 10,000 km) about 31,000 – 33,000 €. Now to my question. Do you think it is possible to negotiate with a little negotiation similar percentage on demonstration/used car, or should I rather wait a little bit and then buy a new car from me at least one per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1 per 1

  • Control chain depends on

Hello dear community, I’m new here and have the following. I was today with my Kia Ceed BJ. 2010 for inspection in a free workshop. Luckily he also looked after the control chain and found that it is no longer tight. Photo is attached. Now my question. Would you still drive with such a hanging control chain or leave it standing until the repair? The master now makes me a cost estimate, but also meant I should ask Kia if this can still be settled with the guarantee. What do you mean my chances? All inspections were carried out on time in a Kia specialist workshop except for this one today in a free workshop. Thanks already in advance

  • Shut off the puff doesn’t want to open anymore

Hello in the round, I come directly to the thing, since yesterday the flap only sporadically opened, today garnix happens more. One hears at the start of the car, where he makes the self test of the flap only a short tinned noise, without the flap open and again, and when I go on sport mode one hears a kind of electric “bsst”, so quasi that the flap is controlled on each case, but it opens up nothing. Someone already had the same phenomenon? I have installed the bastuck system, if that is of concern. Dear greetings and thank you in advance for your answers.
