Before Christmas I had my Stinger GT for a 90,000 inspection at a free workshop. This then told me that they could not adjust the valve play (which is specified at 90tkm) at the Stinger, which probably lacks a special tool. Since it is a free workshop and the Stinger is now not a common vehicle OK. I then got in contact with all KIA dealers near me. They all told me The same “Joa, we don’t have that here either”. Of course I bought the Stinger used and can’t go to the dealer where the Stinger was bought at that time (which is at the other end of the Republic). Now my question, does anyone in the area Paderborn have any idea who could do it or is there somewhere a list of the dealers who are qualified for the Stinger? Unfortunately, the dealers could not give me any information.

Hello, I’m new here, I’ve been driving a Stinger since the beginning of October. Therefore, my profile here is still unfinished. I was lucky enough to get one of the last new cars (Ascot green). I only covered about 500km with the Stinger, because the leasing of my previous car was still running until mid-November. So everything is still quite new for me. To my question: First – I’m rather ‘old fashioned’, prefer music as mp3 files via USB stick. So far I had a Peugeot 508 II, who had the Focal sound system on board. I was used to playing the tracks of each album in the order I ‘pulled’ them from the CD. The Stinger offers me the tracks within an album (or an interpreter) but only in alphabetical order. Can this be changed somehow? I haven’t found a setting option so far. Even if I manually insert a number or a letter (i.e. 1 title name, 2 tit) elname or A title name B title name etc.) unfortunately does not change anything. In addition, I get almost no album covers. I have not yet found out which file format and/or file size is necessary to display the pictures. In the Peugeot all covers were displayed, i.e. that each image file is in the folder of the album. A demand from the dealer so far did not show anything, they probably would have written Kia – an answer is still pending. Vi Thank you in advance for your answers.

Hello – anyone has experiences whether the Stinger could drive larger brake discs than the conventional ones. The workshops and also the tuning with us is very restrained. If yes, it would be nice if there were experiences. MfG

My Stinger is said to have been one of the first in Austria (first demonstrator according to the seller), so it may be that I find problems that others (yet) do not have. Anyway, yesterday the cover over the mechanical lock fell off at the handle of the driver’s door when I laid my hand on it. The upper plastic nose is broken. Before I enter the workshop next week, just a short question: Has this ever happened to any of you – and there was a problem e with the guarantee? LG Bernhard

Hello Stinger friends, has anyone ever felt the distance of the footrest as too far away? I am not very pushed (1,67) and can reach the footrest in my comfortable sitting position only difficult… Did I never have!? Do I also often drive rental cars… Do I spin now?

Hello everybody, I have a car change in the fleet again in a few weeks. It will become a commercial leasing again at 36 or 48 months with 45 TKM p.a.. A Sorento UM Platinum goes back after 3 years (absolutely trouble-free time) from the leasing. The Stinger GT would be a possible successor. Actually nonsense, because I also have a new Camaro Cabrio 6.2 in the fleet and the cars m. E. “too close together”. Therefore normally a fun-aut o and an SUV as a KM eater. Anyway…. Now to my question. The Stinger GT must m. W. all 10 TKM for oil change as well as all 30 TKM for inspection. Do you have approximate numbers / costs at hand for the current oil change dates? Is there the possibility, as a commercial customer, to acquire both the oil change intervals as well as the inspections via a flat rate? Finally a question about the trailer coupling. Will this be mounted; like at Sorento; after embarkation at the destination port or e Are there some users here with the AHK and possibly photos of it? I thank you in advance for the support. Hello everybody, in the last few days I noticed that my Stinger clacks hydro-punch-like at the cold start. I feel it is unusually strong, therefore my contribution. The car is now about 2 weeks old, i.e. model 2019, the 3.3l. Is this also the case with your model? Must make an audio recording to make it clear, but maybe you can confirm this right now?!
