New car ordered, old received?
Moin together, how can I find out when my car was actually built? I had ordered a car in 2023, and then I was allowed to wait for 8 months until I got it. April 2024 was the registration. However, I was told by a workshop that the car was already manufactured in 2022, because there is a date from 2022 in the vehicle certificate at point 6. Also in the vehicle letter. In January 2024 my vehicle was still suspended, since February 2024 I was on d he list allegedly for the production, April 2024 I got it then…. How is it to explain and what is there with you? Have a Ceed/SW Gt-Line , automatic with technical package , 160hp petrol. Shouldn’t it then also be another MJ and also visually recognizable? Thanks for help, am there just a little irritated Greetings Bo

Differences in chassis (depth), front bumper Kia Ceed (GT (Line))
Good morning, it’s about the depth of the vehicle, because unfortunately I have a duplex car and the vehicle is not allowed to be too deep. I don’t have a GT near with which I could test whether it fits on it. The first question would be, how much deeper is a GT than a GT line or a normal Ceed? I find in the price list unfortunately no information about sports suspension and depth. The second question would be, the GT has any rubber lips or similar under the bumper, which are deeper than those of the G T Line?

Problems with TPMS/RDKS tire pressure sensors from Electronicx GmbH (Ebay)
Hello, has any of you installed exactly these tire pressure sensors and they work?https://www.ebay.de/…/283646115205 I don’t have anything to do with them. In retrospect, they fell on top of the A*sch again. I was recommended and I bought them. In the auction it says: “The sensors are already pre-programmed and ready for use, they only have to be learned about the vehicle”. With my ignorance I thought now, install and the vehicle recognizes the Senso after a certain learning phase (car ride) of itself and everything is done. Puster cake! After two weeks and more than 500 km of car ride, the menu still shows the tyre pressure in the display: display only when driving. So the Stinger does not recognize the sensors by itself. I was back at the tyre dealer who installed the rims, tyres and these sensors to me. I did not buy the components there, but only had the assembly done. He could do with two different Only with the ATEQ reader it worked. He went into the device menu, selected Kia Stinger in 2018 and left the four sensors (clockwise) according to the default from the front left to the back left (clockwise) and said then I had to drive now 20 minutes … ???? For me illogical, because no data exchange between the car ECU and the reader took place. I thought that he now has to send the read out data via OBD to the control unit? I also have the ebayer “If you don’t have an automatic learning process, you either have to learn it stationary with a device or via OBD2. Programmed means that these are programmed for your vehicle.” I also found no information in the operating manual (on-board book). I don’t look through at all and only know that I am the doofe. For me, the ebayer’s information in the auction is wrong and the reason is rather an au I also find the procedure of the tyre dealer with the device incorrect/unlogical. But as written, I am ignorant. If I only had the original rubber sensors from Korea sent me for the same price. Does anyone know any advice?

Kia Stinger GT BJ 2019 (New logo possible?
Hello together, can someone tell me if the mounting of the new Kia logo in high gloss black can be packed without any problems on the bonnet or is there a problem due to the preface lift model because of the hole in the bonnet? Perhaps someone drives the completely new Stinger with the new logo ́s and has the current dimension of the logo (length and width) greetings

Kia Stinger – After valve play control easy nailing from the engine compartment
Hello together, today I picked up my Stinger after the 90000 inspection. Changed the valve head seal as well as adjusted. When I was at home I listened to the warm engine and found that the engine from the left engine compartment half a bit nailed. I’m not sure if this was always like this and is normal or if something was wrongly set. The engine had always been clambered when it was completely cold but only for 2-3 minutes, which is a lot of fun. I have your stinger. But that was more of a nailing than a clacking. Can it be that it has always been like this and I’m pretending. Does anyone have any experiences?

Guarantee gone?
Hello Stinger-Freunde, I have a question about the guarantee: the start of the warranty was the 12.07.2018 I bought the car September 2023 (53,000km) with 2 years remaining guarantee. I still have 19 days to have my maintenance carried out (as of 54,500km) Today I was at Kia and the employee told me it was the big inspection due with approximately 2,500€ – 3,000€. He looked into the service booklet and told me that between entry 2 (February 2020) and entry 3 (March 2021) the Garan Since I don’t really have a lot of idea, I was shocked when he showed me that. Ask you: Was he right or did he get lost? If my first maintenance with the vehicle, previous ones took place by the previous owner. I attached pictures. Thanks and greetings, Moppelche

Courage/guarantee
Hello, I have been driving a Stinger GT since 2018 (just 50,000km). After a brisk motorway ride I noticed a loud grind in the exit. The front underbody cover had dissolved! Without foreign influence! Now the hammer ;- the car dealership charges me 462€ for the repair!!! Kia refuses a warranty or kulante solution! After a Sorento and Ceed the Stinger was my third Kia and now certainly also the last. Ride with your GT better only straightening speed, bevo That’s what happens to you, too.

CEED SW 1.4 T-GDI maintenance interval
Hello together, I have been driving a used 2019 CEED SW 1.4 T-GDI for almost a year. The last inspection was carried out by dealers before the purchase at 21.000km. Currently I am at 31.000km, so I wanted to make an appointment at the KIA contract workshop around the corner for the oil change, which would be due after 15,000km/12 months. However, he now said that not only an oil change would be necessary, but also a complete inspection. If last year the first inspection was carried out at 15000km or 12 months, the second inspection is due at 30000km or months. Here an oil and oil filter change is carried out, the pollen filter is renewed, the brake fluid is renewed and a body inspection is carried out. [..] The whole should then cost approx. 360€. That then seemed a bit strange to me, because in my service booklet it is written that a body inspection only every 30,000km/24 months. This also coincides with the official information onhttps://www.kia.com/…/…all_KIA-Vehicles_Stand_2021_January_V2.pdf Did I miss anything here, or does the workshop just want to sell me a service that is not necessary at all? I don’t see any reason why I need a body inspection after 10,000km… Thank you!

Kia Ceed (CD) Waiting room
Since the moderation unfortunately closed our big thread and demands that we divide our discussions on many small threads, here is a thread especially for all those who have not yet received their Kia Ceed. Here you can exchange about the order process, discounts and waiting times. I hope that this is right for the moderation. In my case, by the way, there are news: I had recently reported that the delivery of my Kia Ceed has been massively delayed. This morning, the dealer gave me the next week as the expected delivery date. In addition, there would be another week for underbody sealing, tyre assembly and approval. Greetings
