  • Switch the center console cup holder open / with flap?

Servus dear ones, Since I have had my Stinger for 2 days, I annoy you every day with new topics. Today again a new one, because unfortunately I find no spare part online (or none that I am willing to pay at the prices). I have the version with the lockable flap for the cup holders, since I will never close it anyway, I would prefer the open version optically. If someone has an idea where I can get this center console (without paying 300+€) od he even better: Is there someone here in the forum who might have the open option and would rather have the closed one with whom you can exchange? Best greeting and you have a nice evening

  • Stuttering during acceleration: MAP sensor defective?

Hi Community, since I had my Stinger (3.3 BJ 21) in January for a 2-year inspection (without oil change, i.e. on the engine was actually not done), I notice a strong stutter with large thrusters when accelerating from about half to 3/4 gas. With gentle driving the motor run is actually inconspicuous and also the consumption is in the normal range. Error codes are unfortunately not set, so that I am a bit helpless, which is the reason. I was therefore already with KIA, but their next appointment to look at the problem is unfortunately only at the end of March. The master suspects the usual suspects such as candles, ignition coils or injectors. Since I would not like to drive around for another month with (probably) ignition problems, I started looking for the cause myself. I looked with the iOS Car scanner in the signals for striking values, and at the same time the air flow rate (“MAF air flow”, see screenshots The first screenshot is at a constant 130km/h, and the second one is in idle mode. Even under a larger load, you can’t see any changes in the signal. I don’t know how it is handled with Hyundai/Kia, but at least with some German manufacturers I know it so that there are bullshit signals on the CAN bus, which show completely wrong values even without malfunctions. Therefore, my question, one of you has already taken a look at this signal by chance. ? My hope would be that it would show plausible values in other Stingern. That would clearly limit my problem.

  • Stinger driver area Niederrhein searched

I just try it here in the forum…. Search for this way in the region Niederrhein, Kleve, Goch, Kalkar, Rees and surroundings…. like-minded Stinger drivers to exchange ideas and, or sometimes together to make a small exit, drink coffee and fantasies. However, I myself can not contribute much to the topic, have my Stinger only since mid January, 3,3 V6 in ceramic silver, Pano and flap system. Would I be happy if it were here in the vicinity of Kleve e in a couple of Stinger drivers who have the same car hobby. Should everything be casual and not quite so far for you, weather is getting better, so please get in touch, thank you. If you are interested please with a PN supplement, of course also with your partners, (almost forgotten)……….. :>) Greeting Regina & Helmut

  • Bitch without a mouth moaning

Hello community. I’ve been driving a 3.3 GT year 2018 – so still without OPF. It’s a Bastuck exhaust system without flap installed. The system roars extremely at load between about 1,500 and 2,500 revolutions. When driving longer in this area (e.g. uphill drive on the highway at 130 km/h speed limit) you get really headaches. I really think about whether I have to build an original system under it again. Does someone have the same problem or can you here Abhi I’m grateful for every tip.

  • Kia Rio missing a screw?

Hello Kia Rio driver, my sonman got a new Kia Rio, now there are 400 kilometers on it and we wanted to refill the windscreen wiper liquid. I noticed a screw opening on the engine block. It looks like a screw would be missing. In any case there is a thread in it. Maybe the man on the assembly line was not in shape and did not tighten the screw properly? And the screw was lost by vibration? Or that’s what it belongs to? I would like to save my way to the workshop. Please see photo, red circle, there is the hole. It is left next to the oil measuring rod. Model 1.2 Gasoline Thanks Greeting from Richard

  • Kia Picanto –Accessories- Retrofits–

Hi to everyone! Since I have some time in the near future, I wanted to get some treats for my little guy. So thought about something like: -eFH for the back – I called my Kia dealer and he told me that you couldn’t change the rear side. Do you know a good retrofit set? (Please no cheap scrap from ebay) The price wouldn’t matter…incorporation wouldn’t be a problem….are there any problems with the warranty here? -Passform seat covers – Thought more about special anfertiti There are only colour-patterned parts at the Kia dealer. Do you know a page where you can make seat covers? – Interior lighting: I’ve seen that some Daihatsu Cuore had footroom lights, B-pillars spots etc. as original accessories. For the Picanto there is no such thing I’ve once heard of someone who has such LED spots and bars in several colors at a company called Foliatech…are the legal ones? Shouldn’t there be s on 2fast2furious, only a subtle illumination of the interior…Do you have links? So that’s it…wanted to take advantage of the opportunity where our mechanics are in good mood and I can install THX…

  • Kia Rio – driving instructions? Satisfaction with climate car?

Hello! This morning I picked up the letter of our new Kia Rio (Saphir-Blue, 1.4 EX Top). Tomorrow we will then take the car in reception. We are looking forward to the small one! In passing I asked myself today also for the driving instructions, which was only said that a drive-in would be “actually no longer necessary” but we should “take it the first time a little more leisurely”. General manufacturer regulations for how long or whether there are upper limits on We were not told speed/speed. Question: Is there anything in the manual on this topic? What was told by the dealer about it? If you have made a drive-in oil change, after how many KM did you have it done? (We were named 1000 km – with our BMW it was 2-3000 km).Other question: How satisfied are you with the automatic climate control? Generally we had no choice, since this is included in the Ex Top package, but “works” the climate automatics satisfactorily? I know the ClimateCars from Golf IV/Bora, Sharan and the BMW 1 (I liked them best so far). Would I be very pleased about your opinions! Greetings Hendrix1000

  • Gearboxes or coupling noises

Hello everyone, I have a little problem. Mostly this is in the morning when the car has stood overnight and is cold. And that is when I start the car in the morning I make the idling in and let the car run for a short time before I start. As long as I hold the clutch everything is good, but if I let go I would say grinding, knocking mmm maybe also painting noises from the gearbox or the clutch. I think however transmission comes only when you get the Kup When you drive you hear nothing, really only in the stand and idle. If you have driven a few kilometers then the noise is almost gone in the stand. I would say that it sounds almost normal. Every now and then a quiet beat. Maybe someone had something similar and can tell me something about it. In the workshop I was already there the car was warm. He said it was all good and I could continue driving like this and I told him put the car there in the evening and he would test it in the morning. It is a Ceed Sw, petrol 1.5 liter with 140 hp and hand-operated. The car is 1.5 months old and has 2000 KM on the speedometer.
