Hello dear Landrover specialists ! As a long-time XC60 driver I am now looking for a successor. Used, around 40,000€. Actually it was clear : again a Volvo. After the test drive with an XC60T8 I got into doubt. Since my old D3 diesel drive is almost more beautiful. Only 20km range with the hybrid battery. Inside quite low because of the panoramic roof, the seat rather hard. For fun I am to the Landrover dealer, and put myself into a Discovery sport. Oh, d a you sit but very nice ! But a three-cylinder engine (in the hybrid) ? For that quite more range (allegedly). Well : I will test it. Before : what do you say as a Landrover-community about the question : Volvo T8 or Discovery Sport PHEV ? (profile : pensioners couple, short distance, maximum times 200km once a month, own charging possibility)

Hello together! I finally decided to order as well. Was just with the friendly one and signed the contract for a RRS Supercharged. Although the V8 Touareg was cheaper and probably also more reasonable, but the RRS simply impressed me. Thank you for the help here in the forum, which also contributed to the decision! Konst.

Moin, after reading through the forum now, I don’t find so much info about the Range Rover Classic. I just wanted to check out what to look for… I’m looking at a RR Classic, Bj 90, with about 200 tkm, the 3.9 liter and switch… Will something fine English, and since the Jags don’t quite agree with me here in Sweden in winter, I found above all for just under 3500 €… Is there a forum where you can talk about the classics more? February 2019 first admitted, warranty until February 2022 and now a motor damage (crankwell is fixed) in March 2023. now I bought the car with 18000 km used and got an additional warranty until 2024 or 100 000 km. since september 2022 I drove the car very little. in the end january I wanted to give the car into the inspection but I did not get an appointment at vover before april 2023. now the car on the autobahn at approx. 115 km speed has everything excluded The automatik could not be unlocked and therefore the adac had to use a sick to pick up. the workshop explained a motor damage which I can never believe. a car for € 95000, – can not get a motro damage with 6 cylinders after 4 years. I like to drive rank rover and that for many years. my wife has an evoque and I have a youngtimer XK 8 cabrio. although I have a warranty extension I have now referred to the fact that I am three months over the last inspection and the 10000 km below the guarantee limit do not apply. I buy an expensive car that only lasts 90000 km. I need a legal profi against landRover and against the “Real Garant Zürich”. who can help me here? mfg charles

With my thick one now the next service with 86,000km is on, for me the first since I bought it – it is the inspection after 7 years. originally I learned car mechanics and want to carry out the service itself. I have already found the maintenance plan online. Oil, oil filter and co is all clear. Fuel filter – this I have to change, where does this sit and how do I find the right new one? Is there something to be paid attention to? Haldex oil change before usual interval recommended? Thank you for your experience with carrying out the inspection itself.

We have fallen in love with the Velar, but are very afraid of problems, since every mechanic we have asked, rolls our eyes and says that only no LR that only cause problems with the electronics and parts you can not get and it is very expensive. Estimated community Our RR Sport from 2010 is jogging sporadically on the highway. It is filled by the rear axle/brake (right). When I stop and park the car, wait two seconds and start again everything is back to normal. That happened several times now. I was at the garage, they did a test drive, it ran impeccable. The memory was read out and found nothing. Does anyone have any idea what this could be about? Ev. a brake that (electronically) no longer dissolves? Hello together, I bought a Range Rover Sport Supercharged with BJ 2011 about 1.5 months ago. He ran almost 160,000 km. Last week I was then during the city ride (50 km/h) by sudden stuttering and jerking of the engine and the lighting up of the engine control light on the ADAC. After towing into the next workshop it was established that on 7 of 8 cylinders only a pressure of about 6 to 7 bar is required. 1 cylinder has no compression at all. more. The forest and meadows workshop is therefore unfortunately completely overwhelmed and I would need help with this, on the one hand, where the error/problem can come from or whether someone can recommend a workshop, which is located in the surrounding area/near Bergheim Plz. 50126, which also dares to approach something like this. The workshops I have asked so far have so far first thankedly rejected, or wanted to directly turn on me a complete replacement motor (18k €). thank you already in advance greeting
