if you listen to and read around the past days – with carl-peter forster a man of the car industry has now become active at the top, it seems as if you want to expand the range rover or meanwhile the soon 3 vehicles comprehensive range rover pallet to a own brand! m.e. speak for this also some indexes, e.g. the now clear separation from the rr and rrs to the rest of the vehicles, the addition with the lrx as entry range and it would not surprise me , if the discovery is raised to a flag ship with the “classic” land rover, not also because it has been significantly upgraded to the top with the fourth edition and has moved closer to the range. also the design language of the individual has been adjusted accordingly (but fortunately still far away from the unity of other manufacturers! hope that it remains that way) I would be surprised if, I think between freelander and disco, another land rover model comes in between to close the somewhat bigger gap that has opened up there. amazingly, I also find that the basic perception, occurs etc. are very similar to jaguar/balances and have also joined together to form a more uniform appearance. m.e. are the overall promising and solid developments that open up there… what do you think about it?

Term Range Rover
Since I hardly know the brand, but I am beginning to be more interested in it, I have the following question. I always assumed that the term Range Rover is used to refer to the top model of the Land Rover range. For 5 years now there has been Range Rover Sport, which is one number smaller, but still the second most expensive model in the Land Rover range. When I looked at the website, however, I was completely irritated. On the homepage, the model is divided into two categories. Defender, Freelander and Discovery as Land Rover and Range Rover Sport, Range Rover and Evoque as Range Rover. However, the Evoque is designed as an entry-level model still below the Freelander… why is this a Range Rover and what then distinguishes a Range Rover in contrast to a Land Rover?

RRS/Disco4 – experience after update 03-04/2010
Hello together, after I have now since last Friday not only summer tires, but also the up-date in terms of motor electronics/software generally got loaded – lasts 4 hours!!! -, I wanted to ask here how your experiences are so. I can at least report the following: – my rrs probably only reluctantly surrendered to the new software, because he changed back to the mother language English until Sunday again, at last I could not even m ehr bei der Sprachschosen auf deutsch ändern, because “deutsch” was simply missing in the selection! – the seat adjustment in connection with the storage of the settings seems to continue to plague the Alzheimer suffering: the height adjustment always goes up! – unit of measurement miles instead of kilometers has so far not appeared – what a miracle! – technical problems seem to have got the motor management only through the up-date: my tdv8 easily starts the stuttering at slow drive – I’m actually waiting all the time for an error message, but this remains out (whether this is a mistake in the error system???) – either it’s due to my summer tires now unleashed driving or also to the up-date: my sprite consumption (50% city/50% country) so settles at about 19,0 liters, I was actually a little less used to…. what are your experiences? bursts from the wild south benignus

Selection Titelgrafik Land Rover
Moin, based on the proposal in this thread we should now proceed to the vote. Although we could simply implement this only proposal directly – but formally there is still the old placeholder, if the majority want to keep it, this must also be taken into account. Therefore, in this thread the previous title graphic of the Land Rover Forum as well as the proposal of the user ninth are to be selected. t until 26.03.2010. Greetings, Derk

Inspection interval RRS petroler
Hi all together, my RRS (5.0 petrol) has become 1 year old in May and has 17 TKM down. For 2 months he reports “service due”. In the BA stands “inspection interval 1” after 12 months or 26 TKM, so that he probably reports due to the 12 months. I don’t see it somehow to bring him to the service now, because I am still far under the KM. Does anyone know what the scope of the first inspection is? Probably they already change the ÖL or other…. What should nac h 12 months to be there when you drive little…? Would I care how you handle it and if anyone knows what the scope of the inspection is…. VG

JLR worldwide sales in financial year 18/19
Hello For those who are interested, here is an extract from the JLR annual report (see also attached picture): Land Rover -9.3% Jaguar +3.2% Total -5.8% or in other words -26’385 vehicles If one considers that only in China about 59,000 vehicles were sold less, it is likely that it is clear where the dog is buried. In the other regions especially North America, the UK and Overseas were noticed positive. Another main reason is probably the sales of the RRE and the DS, which both v These two models alone were sold about 61,000 times less. Especially the DS was a hit in China before. From that very clumsy that both decommissionings took place almost immediately. It would have been wiser to have had the DS 2 years before. However, the DS is still the best sold model within JLR, followed, one hears and marvels, of the RRS with over 80,000 pieces. The RR is also on a high flight. In the last 6 years, the number of units has increased from around 40k to 56k. RR-FL (+5.4%), RRS-FL (+5.7%), Velar (+40.8%) and the E-Pace have been very good. The development of Jaguar is extremely worrying. All models are very low, even the F-Pace. Exceptions are the E-Pace and the I-Pace. In the E-Pace, the coverage contributions are certainly smaller than the larger models. The number of units of the I-Pace is, in my opinion, too low to amortise the high investment costs. Vo In this respect, it would probably be useful to bring further models with this technology. Personally, I wonder if they work cost-coveringly with XE, XF, F-Type and XJ at all.

Purchase decision – LandRover, Iveco or Isuzu?
Hello, I’m about to buy a VAT and Nova-free (Austria) vehicle. Unfortunately, I can’t decide between these three: -LandRover Defender -Iveco Massif -Isuzu Dmax I tend to be a Defender, but the other two are also interesting. Would like to hear opinions about the four-wheel concept and possible lock-ups. It’s important to me that I can drive the car well on site and that I can pull heavy trailers. l a Defender trial run. Does anyone have problems with their Defender?s known problems? Would I be happy about any contribution. So each experience to one of the 3 listed dares is useful. mfg

SVO Premium painting: BOSPHORUS GREY ?
In my search for a very nice, tasteful dark blue, after seeing Windward Grey in Natura and finding out that this color looks completely different from the configurator, I found a color that I can imagine at my next RR: Bosphorus Grey. Landrover describes this color as follows: … This distinctive shade is a coarse-gray and extremely shiny dark blue grey. Now my question: A dealer told me that these colours are a problem with possible repainting because you can’t get there exactly. Do you have any experience in this regard? About coarseness: Does someone have this color and can tell me how the appearance of this color and this type of paint generally works with the RR? I have already seen some pictures on the net, which are unfortunately not very meaningful. However, it seems to be a very nice color. Here you can see them, but not the graininess: https://www.youtube.com/wat ch?v=XZQt8Caakk0 Thank you very much.

Link ACC to traffic sign recognition
I am a little frustrated that the ACC at Velar does not seem to be connected to traffic sign recognition, so the ACC maximum speed cannot be automatically transferred from the traffic sign. This is always very annoying when travelling through Switzerland on the tunnel routes, constantly changing the speed (100-120-80-100…). Or did I miss something that can be adjusted like this?

SDV8 vs. Supercharged 5.0?
I’ve been searching this forum for a discussion on the Range Rover SDV8 versus the Supercharged 5.0 liter engine — and haven’t found one. I know these are two very different beasts, but I’d love to know which one owners like better and why. I’m planning to add a Range Rover to the fleet (991 S, G500) and at the leaning towards the big diesel V8, but I’ve found an SC for a pretty good price and at the same time won about Diesel in Germany! (I can also speak German and ve) I’m a little slow and bad when I write, so I’m sorry for the English.) Thanks, Matt
