  • Why Land Rover?

Moin. At that time it was an absolute coincidence – how did you come to your/your Land Rover? Family tradition, best leasing rate, desire for something new, what was it like with you? My schedule is unfortunately quite full today, but my story follows later. Also the justification why I am not driving a Land Rover at the moment. Greetings Björn

  • Some questions about the acquisition of a new RR Sport

Hello together! I am currently looking for my next car. In the narrow selection I have the Range Rover Sport Supercharged and the new Touareg V8 TDI. Of course I am aware that both are completely different cars, but size and performance make both interesting for me. I have already tested the Supercharged and was very pleased. However, I forgot the following points during the test drive, or my dealer can not really answer them. Is there not the sitting heating in the front without the heated windshield? I am somewhat disturbed by the “sliding” in the disc. – Can one copy music data to the hard drive navi? – Is the voice control of the mobile phone really limited to numbers, or can one also control the telephone book speech control? Unfortunately, I found the steering wheel control extremely cumbersome. I would also be interested if one of you leased a similar vehicle. So far I always felt like leasing as se You are cheap, but for the RRS I have received an offer (25 tkm p.a., 36 months) with a leasing factor of 1.76. With this factor I consider whether it is not more useful to buy the car. Do any of you know a dealer who offers cheap leasing terms? Thank you already in advance! konst.

  • Defender for everyday life? Yes or No

I know, some people feel it’s an insult, but I wanted to get a Defender as a everyday vehicle. It’s like I think the most beautiful car is driving around on our roads. I can hunt with an Audi R8 & Co. I can’t find it there. Probably it’s going to be a 90, because I’m a little too big. But before this gets a grip in the oven I want to clear up a couple of things: -Soft Top or Station Wagon? Soft Top i in the summer certainly fantastic but what does it look like in the cold months? Should you rather leave it in the garage? – How does it look with the ride comfort, even sometimes with a longer distance. If it is not so good, can you then help something? – Last year I believe there have been a few small revisions at the Defender. Since he has also got a new motot. Should you use it or can it be one before this revision? -Exercise r you don’t need to think about the durability, do you? If someone still comes up with something, which I absolutely need to know he can still write it. Be happy about everything. Thanks already in advance.

  • range rover or rank rover sport

hello, I live in portugal and can only see a RR in lisboa, about 600km away. now to my question, I am putting up for RR or RRsport, I am 188 large 103KG heavy, does the headroom at both? are the seats both the same size? the rank rover costs about 61000€ basic equipment is sufficient? Leather is too warm here anyway, sliding roof is also not necessary, you may win a few cm. I have heard of a motor tuning, should be from 177hp to 2 24hp can be increased without motor risk, the sport seems to be enough in its performance. are both cars in the equipment quality the same? would I be pleased about information. greeting mercedesgrey ( had 14 years of a G)

  • Range Rover BJ 1995 4.6 HSE with Startproblem!!!!

Hello! I bought a Range Rover 4.6 HSE BJ 1995 cheaply from a colleague who has a starting problem! The car was driven the last time about 2 months ago when the water temp. rose and the engine switched off. In the display there was nothing to see. Previous owner (no messages) When then looked why the car was running so hot and they opened the engine hood it smoked white from the cool container (probably H2o steam was – he was definitely white ss the smoke) After that the engine could not be started. Since then it only turns through but no longer starts. Since now about 1 month the battery is empty and the immobiliser activated as well as the key remote control has no function anymore. (allegedly according to previous owners already happened and then was said that the immobiliser turns on autom. when the battery is empty) I don’t know!? since the immobiliser is now activated also appears on the display d he message “Motor blocks” Supposedly only since the immobilizer has switched on. When I looked at the engine compartment today I noticed that the cooling liquid tank is completely empty although the previous owner asserts that the fluid levels after the engine incident were all normal. A question about this: Can it be that the range itself switches off at elevated temperature or too low water level to prevent a greater damage???? Is the car so “intelligent” t???? On Monday I put the car in the LR workshop in Linz (but only for diagnosis there only those who have the software and the PC) rep. I do not do anything with them – it is only a software error. Besides, I have to deactivate the immobilizer anyway to a lr partner. I let all size be done with my mechanic. I would be very grateful if you could help me here with diagnostic suggestions or other help on what the problem might be. How much Does it cost to deactivate the immobilizer? So I’m happy about every hint! Thanks Lg Frederik

  • Due to new acquisition of RRS or Disco 4

Hello for now. I’m still in the Q7 forum, but I’ve been reading with you in the LR forum for weeks and now I’m going directly to the drivers of the RRS or the Disco 4. I might want to buy one of the two models next year (business leasing). It should be a 3 L diesel. In the rough I have already recognized the differences of the models…;-) Now I would be interested in the Pro ́s and Contra ́s about the respective vehicles. As well as statements, w I am a frequent driver (one of the more moderate types) and I am also interested in these aspects. Drive about 50,000 km a year. What experiences do you have in terms of wear susceptibility (brakes/tires)? The Q7 is e.g. a tire eater. As far as brakes are concerned, I don’t want to complain about this. . 65,000 km and there is still something going on. Are there any special vulnerabilities and defects in the two vehicles known? Can you remove the speed limit in Disco 4? Have already used the search function, but have not found any really satisfactory answers here. Therefore I thank you for a lively reply. 🙂 In this sense AJOT

  • Buy or not to buy Discovery 4 TDV6 S?1

hello, maybe, you can help me with my decision. would like to buy the disco 4 (I have always driven the small landcruiser.) will drive 70 % road (about 140 km/h), 20 % gravel roads, and 10 % hard into the area. always long distances 300km -5000km live in South Africa. where I use the car sometimes strongly at safaris in no-one’s country. the moterperformance stands out from all the others at the moment, someone knows the follow in the area, from disco 4? how is the vulnerability so it would be nice if someone (for example from a landrover factory town) gave me some tips. thank you maribobo

  • Experience with current Range Rover ?

Hello Forum colleagues, How many of you have I ordered in January 22 the new Range Rover as LWB Diesel. To this day I have not received a delivery date. I find 21 months waiting for a delivery date (not even on the car) already very borderline. Now I ask you, is it worth the wait? I find the car absolutely great. But this would be my first rank and the processing quality seems to be rather undercut according to some reports about older Range Rover Is this also the case with the new model? As an alternative, there would be the BMW X7. It is not only significantly cheaper but also clearly superior to the RR in terms of quality. I don’t like the Mercedes flagship at all and there are no more alternatives either (Audi Q7 does not accept orders) The head says change better to BMW X7 but I like the range much better (says the heart) So Kop F or heart?

  • Recommended purchase/tips – RR Sport (2019) 306ps/3.0/HSD Dynamic

Hello dear community, I intend to purchase next week Thursday a Range Rover Sport from the year 2019. The vehicle is offered directly by the Land Rover dealer with a 24-month approved warranty for sale. Some data about the vehicle I just list you: -RR Sport D300 (SD V6) HSE Dynamic – Built: 10/2019 – Km: 73.900 – Black Pack / 22 Inch / Driver Assistence Package 1 / Meridian / Red-Black Full Leather / Panorama etc. I agree with the dealer already wo I wanted to pick up the car next week on Thursday. However, as I have already heard a lot about the engine problems of these vehicles, I wanted to hear your experiences and tips about this series or to calm down with your answers. Since I take a lot of money and buy the vehicle directly, it is very important to me to answer or send recommendations and tips. Do you have any experiences about this? I thank you already in advance.

  • 2 years warranty extension for Range Rover vehicles

I am now expected to buy a new warranty extension for two years for my RR, although I normally drive my vehicles for a maximum of 2-3 years. This time it was due to the long waiting time for the new almost 4 years. I think it is good if you can pass this warranty on to the buyer of your used car, I would also like that as a buyer. Ask yourself: Are there any differences to the normal warranty with this guarantee? My dealer told me , it’s not all covered, but without going into it. Have you had a negative experience with this guarantee?
