Consumption Discovery Sport D165
Hello together, I would be happy if here the one or the one or the other experience could share to the consumption of the Discovery Sport MHEV D165. I find a really proper deviation to the manufacturer’s specifications. – Highway at speeds between 110-130km/h bring about 6.5-7 l/100km. Land road similar, if not a little more. – City traffic (warm) goes to +/- 9.5 l/100km. On average I now lie after 5600km at 7,97 l/100km, whereby I share the highway on However, the fact that the manufacturer’s specifications are grey theory is not always true. I drove the predecessor (Jaguar XE with 180 hp diesel) at an average of < 5 l/100km. At a constant 110 km/h on the motorway, values of 3.6 l/100km were also possible. I think that the Mildhybrid solution does not work, so I am also happy about reports from users of the earlier versions of the Ingenium. VG Godric

New Defender with electric trailer coupling problem with ASK Antischlinger coupling
Hello, I have a problem with my electric trailer coupling, this is leather about 2 cm too short to attach my horse trailer with ASK Antischlinger clutch.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z_TAEJK5XWk Land Rover Germany (Land Rover Help) has sent me here an official PDF, in which is described with which ASK it works. This has a removable handle, so that the Antischlinger clutch does not push against the reserve wheel when coupling. So far so good. Stupid i just that this clutch is not approved in Germany and so I would drive without insurance cover. My question: Is there anyone who has solved the problem without disassemblying the spare wheel?

Consumption Range Rover Velar P400 (without “e”)
Hello and good evening together ! I am currently thinking about replacing my Mercedes S213 for a Velar. Basically I am even “wildly determined”. Since I would like to strike fast I have to access a new car, that either already stands at the dealer or is in the inflow. Hybrid is not in question for me and next to the D300 I is offered the petroler P400 again and again. The question I ask myself – what needs the we 10,0 l are stated “officially”, I would easily add 1-2 liters to it but don’t really know. Does someone have any experience and like to share it with me? Thank you in advance, I am happy about any feedback.

Range Rover Velar D200
Servus together, I plan to replace our Volvo XC60 B4 with a Range Rover Velar D200. I have already read in the forum some of the engine damage on the D300 models – it seems to me that the D200 is not affected. How is your experience with the Velar? Is it only beautiful or also suitable for everyday use or a typical ticker Englishman? Our XC60 has set the bar very high. I am happy about your experiences with the Velar, greeting from Bavaria, Franz

Land Rover error message transmission error
Hello I have since a few weeks a recurring error message, gearbox error, with orange lamps, then HDC special programs are not available, suspension is lowered. Comes sporadically high, sometimes immediately with the system test or while driving, can be 2 times a day or not at all. Reading at Land Rover revealed only communication errors, alternator and battery are fit, for the transmission and medium transmission was charged another software, suspicion of the LR master s an oxidized plug connection, have already tested several plugs for oxidation, until now missing, After setting off the ignition and restart everything is gone again, only in the system test the gearbox error is mentioned again briefly but is then again gone. If someone still has an idea what it might be, wanted to change the switch lever with electronics next time and then look at all plug connections at the bottom of the gearbox. Many thanks in advance greeting Mike

Land Rover Here Route Planner / Experiences?
Hello colleagues, I’ve just switched from the latest Audi S7 Sportsback to a Defender X-Dynamic HSE D250. Yes, I know, complete change of direction I’m actually only having a hard time with the Infotainment and Navi. I’ve loaded and connected the Land Rover Remote app for Apple, works really well and I like it better than the Audi MMI app. What I don’t find is the possibility to remotely operate the heater over it. Is that possible? Then I’ve loaded the route planner app, previously created a profile on the HP. I don’t get this profile connected to the vehicle although I enter the correct chassis number, the same as in the remote app and there it works. Can someone help me? Finally a question regarding switching between CarPlay and Navi from Infotainment. Since I have activated CarPlay immediately connects to the CarPlay when starting the car and I no longer come to the LR Navi . What am I doing wrong? Look forward to your help Bayerner 62

Keyless suddenly out of function
Hi together, since Thursday evening the keyless system no longer works with my Velar P400e (MY22). My wife returned from a business trip without any problems in the early evening. Later in the evening the Velar didn’t want to open the door handle with my key, I didn’t think about it and opened it with the button on the radio key. On Friday noon I wanted to start the car after the same problem, but only one hint was shown. The key can be positioned somewhere near the steering wheel and then press the start again. On the graphic in the info display you could not really see the exact position, but in the iGuide you would see clearly (under the steering column in the middle in a recess). Then the car also jumped on. But since then it no longer likes to recognize both keys via Keyless. I always have to open the door manually via the remote control and perform this start procedure. the same: foot kick and button on the boot cover do not react to opening, only to closure, even here only the button in the interior or on the radio key helps. Unfortunately there is the appointment with the dealer only at the beginning of November. Maybe someone has had a advice or already had the problem by then? VG Martin

Shouting
Hello Landyfans, I would need an assessment of all Discovery Sport 2.0d with 241 hp (built in 2020 or later) owners. At 80 km/h the automatic transmission switches into the 7th gear. The speed is then about 1200min-1. This results in an unpleasant hum that you know from undertouring driving. Is that so or is there a problem with me? Double-mass swing wheel? The sound is quite annoying. Thanks and a lot of greetings!
