Hello together Today I upgraded my RRS P550e for overlanding to the AT wheels. I mounted the Pirelli Scorpion Allterrain + on the 20th LR rim (Style 5125). Now a small challenge arose in the assembly of the front wheels. The photographed component prevented the assembly. The original 20th rim was too tight… Now fortunately we could just unscrew the part and then the assembly worked perfectly! (The red pin on the picture is t the Torx key, which we used to unscrew) Question to you experts: Who knows the part? Why was it installed? I’m curious.

Hello, I can probably line up in the series of Discovery 5 owners (MJ23) with a leaky windshield. Thought it would be the sunroof, but it is probably really the windshield. The water drips from the area of the sky above the rear-view mirror, where the electronics and sensors are installed. Hopefully it did not get anything. Tomorrow the water stands well half-high in the cupholder and the ground on the passenger side is soaked. Unfortunately, the windshield has a length of I’m driving around with DuckTape tape. Unfortunately, this doesn’t help and I keep the car as dry as possible. It’s very strange that despite the guarantee and mobility guarantee, a one-year-old car is not a replacement car. In order for the glue to harden, the car has to stay in the workshop for a complete day, but the actual repair probably takes only 30 minutes. In addition, a life of its own in form that the chassis w nourishingly short stops e.g. refuelling but no longer driving up. Tip from LR Service: Shoot the car for 15 minutes and then restart it. It works so far, but is annoying. Workshop appointment only possible in 6 weeks. I am still quite impressed with my car. Let’s see how it continues.

Hello Can someone please explain to me why the Land Rover Defender V8 has a roof load 0 (zero!) kg? I have been trying to get an answer from my dealer and also from the Genarla importer for weeks. Unfortunately unsuccessful. Can any of you help me there? This means in the figurative sense that if it has snow on the roof, I have to leave the Defender standing .-) Unusable and absolutely incomprehensible for me. Thank you and Gruss TR4A

Since the end of August I am also proud owner of a Range Rover Sport hybrid. I waited eleven months for it, some things that I wanted to configure have unfortunately not been installed. So for example the larger music system. Too bad. To the outside: I like the vehicle overall very well, the rear might be a little different, more like the large Range Rover. So it looks from the back a little like an inflated Evoque. I like nevertheless very well. The leather is soft, comfortable. Not as cheap as in the Volvo, which I had before, but not as great a leather as in my 911. Since I had ordered the vehicle blindly, I didn’t really notice some small things, but they don’t bother me so much now. Is complaining at a high level. Unfortunately, the rear seats can’t be completely flipped, so there is one step. The trunk is still big enough. Then I have for some time a problem with the jerking, what appears between 1800 and 2200 rpm, but also in hybrid operation to notice, so that I fear that there is a problem here of the gearbox/converter. A workshop appointment is scheduled at the beginning of November. I like the large screen very well, the Navi is great, does what it should. I find better than Google Maps. CarPlay works perfectly, but the inductive charging does not work, however, is rather due to my Mobile phone with the big camera (iPhone 14 Pro). A small problem is the radio, occasionally the transmitters jump back to the transmitter, which I had set up the previous day. Also there is a workshop appointment already scheduled. what could be improved would be a lighting at the flap for the charging cable. Because so tap one in the dark garage really in the dark, one could improve. The return camera is really good, however annoying is the beep of the park assistant. nervous. In the interior it is very quiet, not only with pure electric operation, also in hybrid operation. Simply fascinating! I also find the seats totally comfortable, can be adjusted in many ways, almost like on the sofa at home. These are my first impressions, if someone wants to know more, like inquiries. Hi, perfect timing of my D5 to develop the “leaky windshield” problem. After all, just 2 weeks before warranty end, but on holiday and thus far away from dry garage or workshop. Someone here (with a D5) has had the problem before? Fix is probably cut out and glue the disc again? Greetings, Hauser
