Hello Together, if I am standing on the brake with my Velar (EZ 03/24) at inserted gear and foot, so that for example someone can get in or out, then after opening the door when lowering the air suspension. At least I think that this is the air suspension. This does not happen when the vehicle is on P or the engine is off. Does anyone else know that? In the workshop it was called first, one knows that, “Stand der Technik” (Stand der Technik). had described the problem in a semi-comprehensible way.

RR Velar purchase advice Which engine
Hey to the Land Rover community. I’m interested in buying a used Range Rover Velar. But I’m not sure which engine. I don’t care about diesel, gasoline or hybrid. Preferably and in the budget would be a Diesel. However, I read more and more often here the 300ps diesel often has engine damage. What about the 240ps diesel? And the ~180ps is probably very lame with the weight? What about the two with the durability? How many KM should it have down maximum? Gi Is there otherwise things to watch out for? Whereby is the Velar vulnerable? Thank you very much. Greetz

Has anyone already got a RR, RRS or RRV MY19 delivered?
I wonder if the problems with the ICTP Duo still exist and how the new features are like that? For example, do I think of the steering assistant, the revised distance tempomat or the integrated data communication etc.?

Discovery Sport: Si4 (2015) or TD4 (2016/17)?
Hello together, since there is a need again, I would like to fulfill my dream of a Discovery Sport as a family car (annual car or young used car). Currently I wonder if the gasoline from 2015 (with 240 hp) or the Ingenium diesel from 2016 would be the better choice. Are there experience values / recommendations here? Both of course with little KM (up to a maximum of 50,000 km, more about the 25,000). Is of course a lot of glass ball, but I am less concerned about performance or consumption than v iel more about reliability / longevity. Our driving behaviour is mainly in the range of the short distance, much urban and land traffic, less highway. About 15,000 – 17,000 km per year. Would probably rather speak for petrolers. However, there is quite little choice of vehicles here and the diesel from 2016 or 2017 is still a little younger and possibly even more mature? I am grateful for every contribution!

Ad Blue bem RRV D300
Hello*, since I ordered an LR Velar last week and therefore have a lot of questions that the seller could not answer so completely, I wanted to be answered by you. The refilling of Ed Blue should not be done at the pump because the system gets confused! Why? Is the camera still active when the mirror opens? Does the Velar have a residual heat utilization for heating or cooling? How good is the mobility guarantee? Should I be in the car mob How good is the laser LED light? Thank you for your answers 007Schneider

Land Rover Discovery 4 (04/2015) – Kaufberatung/Rost
Hello together, maybe someone can help me assess whether the condition of the underbody (rust) is normal for an LR4 SDV6 (256) from 04/2015, which I have thought about buying. I am not an expert, but was surprised how widespread the rust was on the underbody – see pictures. Do you have an assessment? Is this normal after 3.5 years? How does it get so much rust? What is problematic and can become how expensive? Look forward to your expertise!

Greetings from Iceland
Our three-week Iceland trip, for which we actually bought the RRS, is slowly coming to an end. I just have to break a lance for the RRS and share my enthusiasm for the terrain and the long-distance travel comfort of the RRS, it exceeds all expectations. Whether fords up to 90cm through glacier rivers with abundant flow, coping with wet ramps covered with mud up to paths with 50cm deep longitudinal and cross ditches, or fast ride over holes The Terrain Response System with the rear lock and the terrain reduction, as well as the neatly interlocking air suspension function perfectly. Only the space available has, as expected, turned out to be a bit short, which is why I will probably look for a Disco 5 with Offraod package. The car is unmodified, except the Cooper AT3 4S tire.

Disco 3 TDV6 – estimated lifetime
Hello dear Land-Rover driver, I usually read more about the Opel forum as I drive a small car as a student. However, there are still real cars in the family, including a Land Rover Discovery III TDV6 HSE. The good piece is built 08 / 2006 and was bought as a new car at that time and now has approx. 230,000 km on the speedometer. For about 2 years it says: The next major defect is replaced, preferably by an RRS. But: the car simply wants to be replaced by a RRS. How are the experiences with such high running performance in this engine, what repairs do we have to expect in the near future and can anyone appreciate the maximum life of such a car? I am grateful for every answer! Best regards, Nimored

Experience with LR breakdown service
Yesterday evening the air suspension in our Discovery5 was obviously broken. There was a loud bang after 2 minutes drive and quickly escaping air was heard. After that the car did not pump up anymore, but stopped at the very bottom. Since then there is an error message “Fahrwerk broken”. Unfortunately the breakdown service had no experiences and far and wide is no workshop in sight (Sylt). So tomorrow the car is towed directly to the home. Difficult part is the rental dare, since it is not so easy to get a replacement for the disco from the size (4 people plus dog plus lots of luggage). If we are lucky this works tomorrow morning. What experiences have you made? Mine as +/-: + very fast reaction + fast breakdown service + direct solution for repair at home + callbacks by service hotline and the efforts of the staff there to help – availability replacement car (problem of car rental) – no repair possibility on site All in all, a fairly fast care and help on weekends/holidays.

Current costs L322 TDV8
Moin Together, my name is Marcel, my wife and I will have our first child at the end of the year. We both currently have a company car, my wife has to hand over hers during parental leave, so that I now play with the thought of fulfilling my dream and buying us an L322 TDV8. What you have to pay attention to vehicle-specific and what you have to spend as a purchase price I have already read in and obtained expert information. I wonder however which ongoing totals for the vehicle must account for approx. per month (sprite, maintenance, taxes, tires, oil, repairs or reserves for just such, etc.). Would I be pleased about your experiences! Best regards Marcel
