Hello, I plan to buy a new car and have among other things the Range Rover SDV8 in the selection. The vehicles I selected are EZ 2015-2016 (Euro 6) and have run about 50,000 km. The Range Rover should replace my Audi A8, as an alternative to the Brit I have the S8 Plus in view. To the Range Rover I have some questions: 1) The 4.4 SDV8: Is this engine durable or is there many problems? To the predecessor with the 3.6 TDV8 you will find many reports about problems, about The 4.4 is quite quiet. It is planned to drive the range up to a mileage of approx. 150,000 km without major problems. How is the diesel consumption? Are approx. 11 liters realistic in normal, mixed driving mode? 2) Infotainment: Unfortunately I had the opportunity to test the infotainment for a short time. It seemed quite slow and backward to me, especially the display of the radio stations as well as the navigation have disappointed me. Are there different Navis (small / large) or is this still a general problem of the Land Rover models? Are there ways to upgrade to a better system here? 3) What should one pay fundamental attention to when buying a used range rover? Are there known flaws or flaws? Thank you for your help!

Discovery 5 really so vulnerable engines?
Hello I wanted to buy an LR Disco 5 with 258 hp diesel . But if I read here and also in other foreign forums that almost everyone has a motor damage (crank shaft broken) I wonder if this is the right vehicle for me. How are your honest experiences. With possible electronics problems I can live. Greeting from the Sauerland Gordon

Landrover Discover Sport exhaust filter full
Good morning, last year we bought a new Discover Sport 2.0 liter 4-cylinder ingenium turbodiesel with 150 hp (automatic gearbox) (4WD) and are mostly very satisfied with the vehicle. The car now has a little over 18k KM down and reported to me today that the exhaust filter is full and I have to contact my dealer. The red warning triangle lights up and the engine light is on, the car can now only drive with reduced power. The car will be a lot Short distance driving, that is certainly not the optimal condition for the particle filter. But I am surprised that the filter is so full already in the second year at under 20k KM, that only the workshop can help. Before that came no warning message, that you should burn the filter freely or something like that. Does this happen about the guarantee? Does anyone have similar experiences? Thank you for a feedback.

Discovery Sport L550 2016 2.0 Diesel consumption
Hello people When I bought my used disco sport a few months ago, I thought that the vehicle will not consume so much. WEIL DIESEL. I was wrong. With full tank I manage in ECO Mod and reasonable driving about 530km at 50liter tank really very little reach for a diesel car. I know that the weight of almost 1.8 tons and all-wheel drive play a big role. How is it with you so the average consumption in the city with which motorizers g

Hybrid: Warranty on batteries and durability
Yesterday I read in my instructions for use that I have a warranty of 6 years or a minimum battery power of 70% with my 510er on the batteries. What experience have you made so far with your hybrid vehicle from Land Rover? I often wonder if it is attractive or useful to buy such a vehicle at the age of 5-6 years. I also wonder how long it makes sense to drive mine (yearly performance only 12-14.000 km). This topic is of interest to me because I am thinking of switching to an electric vehicle in the foreseeable future, either L460 or maybe Audi again.

Range Rover L460/461 Purchase advice/experiences

Alexa in Pivi Pro
Hello, I have a factory-new Velar with Pivi Pro since February. According to Land Rover, the new models are compatible with the Pivi Pro system ALEXA. The problem with me is that the Alexa app cannot be found in the so-called app drawer or app launcher of Pivi (see below), so that a link to my Alexa account is not possible. The software installed with me is the latest OS 3.2.1 (see below). Does anyone know this problem and has someone an answer? Thanks and Gru ß Patrick

Purchase decision
Good morning together! We are faced with the decision to purchase a Discovery Sport. I am unsure about the variant, the following possibility: DS with EZ 08/23 and 204 hp Diesel or DS with EZ 08/23 and 250 hp Petrol Tendentially I would rather take to the petroler, has someone experience with inspection intervals and/or engine problems here? Which variant would you recommend? Driving performance will probably be around the 15000 k/year, short distances as well as highway… Would supe r, if I could get first hand information from you here.. Thank you! Greetings Mitch

The Discovery Sport Offroad thread
Hi, you let, listen and see far too little about disco sports in the terrain. So I wanted to create a thread for this, with the hope that it will be filled diligently. What I hope for here? Here you can publish your off-road experiences, like with pictures! In addition, I would like to discuss tips and tricks for off-road driving and also optimization of the DS (e.g. raising, AT tires, underrun protection, etc.). And of course, reports about off-road parks are also interesting. Everything that has to do with offroad and disco sport! Greetings, Hauser
