Good morning together, in full anticipation of my RRS, which will be delivered in November, I am currently dealing with a possible “reconstruction” of the rear. Actually, it is only about the tailpipes. I am not a fan of tuning or noticeable changes of the series. However, I feel the 2 small tubes at the rear for this vehicle as something too small. Has someone already dealt with this topic? Up to now I have found little to nothing in the net. I find the tailpipes of AC-Schnitzer (see picture) chic, but the rear apron is much too prolific. Likewise, the pipes look too far out of the apron. From the shape they really like them very much. I will ask Capristo Exhausts for a request the days, if a special production is possible and what they would cost. Best regards Zetta

What to pay attention to when buying a used RRS 3.6 TDV8 HSE
Hello together As a newcomer here in the forum I hope for your support. I am looking for a used RRS 3.6 TDV8 HSE and now I’m going to look at some. My favorites are currently 11.2007 with 162’500 km and 08.2009 with 176’000 km. What do I have to pay special attention to? I need the vehicle as a second car for equestrian sports (trailer loaded weighs just under 3.5t). I am also on the hilly terrain. We are at home at 650 m.a.s.l. For the information: I like to drive (very much) car, but have no idea of engines. Maybe another model would be suitable? At the moment we have a 1998 4.6HSE with 260’000 km. But I don’t want any more gasoline. Thank you for your support.

Support for configuration LDS
Hello, I’m almost on the verge of a brand change, as I fell in love with the new LDS some time ago…I’m already probing the 2.2l diesel and my sympathy was almost confirmed… 🙂 Unfortunately now with almost 8 months delivery time….in connection with the 2.0 Ingenium engine… 🙁 I’m looking at the configuration and here the following questions arise: 1. The offered Meridian sound system with 825 watts is only available i.V. with the HDD hard disk Navi. I put in principle a lot of value on a good sound in the vehicle, but the package by Meridian with HDD-Navi beats to book properly. Is the Meridian really worth its price. In the Evoque is also a Meridian installed – to this system with 380 watts but there are shared opinions here in the forum. 2. Extra charge for the air-conditioned front seats is about 1000€. If these are worth their money – above all i.V. with a black leather equipment of the variant HSE. Climateization is not important for me, but I don’t need to cool the best of my shirt.

Environmental badge – Where to with the dirt thing?
Good evening! I hate to stick things into the field of view. Be it the environmental badge, the funny Mount brands in Austria or the park windows in Denmark. But unfortunately we are forced to stick these dirt things on the windows. At my disco 5 I also found a clever place after a long search. The thing sticks now about 10 cm from the left, at the very bottom of the disc. It is there except for a mini zip of the curvature of the instrument panel verdec kt. This looks quite okay from the inside and from the outside too. In disco sport it’s different. Downstairs it falls out because you always have that in the field of view. Upstairs I find also stupid, because always a victory green point lights up when the sun shines. Now I have glued the dirty thing to the right side, right next to the rear mirror. From the inside you can’t see (as a driver!) the badge at all. For that it looks really nice from the outside. And because here I have been looking for days Have you found a better place? Greetings, Hauser P.s. If you’re bored with the topic, or if it doesn’t suit you for whatever reason, just try NOT to give your mustard to it. Forums are NOT meant to write something about each topic and tell the others how stupid you think about the topic and its opinion. They are meant to be too constructive about the topic. I would like to thank the rapporteur for his excellent report.

Back to LR
Hey together, after I turned my back on my RRE in 2016 for an X3 35d (which I don’t regret, especially because of the engine 🙂 ). Are we or my wife in front of a purchase decision Your multivan should be renewed, since we don’t need such a big car anymore. After a long time back and forth and to my pleasure you like the DS now better than a Caddy????!!!!! My former friend has made us a TOP offer for a DS SE with Dynamic package and much more. Motor SD 4 240 HP Diesel! Nu n my questions or your opinions: – does someone have this engine? How does it drive? -Relocation Space conditions I feel like the DS trunk is spacious. Have two children 5/7 years. -Difference quality, driving ratio, four-wheel drive, etc. to my former Evoque. Tomorrow you drive the DS sample to see how the verdict fails………….. Thank you for your feedback.

Jaguar Land Rover Fiscal Year 2018 – Sales figures
Hello Interesting report on fiscal year 18 (01.04.17 to 31.38). Roughly summarized: – Only 1.7% more vehicles sold than in the previous year – Growth mainly driven by China and Overseas, but slowed down by the UK and Europe – Revenue nevertheless increased about 6%, mainly due to good sales mix – Good cost control leads to more earnings, but slowed down by higher depreciations and depreciations – EBIT lower than in the previous year, but one expects to increase EBIT for 2018, 2019 and 2020 – Further large investments in research and development Sold quantities: – Discovery Sport 119.1 – Evoque 98.5 – Range Rover Sport 76.1 – F-Pace 72.7 – Range Rover 53.5 – Discovery 46.5 – Range Rover Velar 46.0 – XF 40.9 – XE 32.8 – F-Type 9.9 – E-Pace 9.1 – XJ 9.1 My view on these figures: – With the DS they probably hit the mark. The highest numbers in the third year of production – The RRE was already higher, probably it falls slowly because of age. Nevertheless noc h high. – The RRS and the RR are selling extremely well in view of the VP and should be the cashcows – Amazing how well the F-Pace is developing – The D5 is selling better than assumed here in the forum, even better than the RRV – At the RRV JLR expects even higher quantities, let’s look… – Disappointing for me is the XE, should actually go much better. Especially in comparison with the more expensive XF. – F-Type constant at around 10k per year, which fits – E-Pace will certainly be even massive increase – The XJ, for me a beautiful vehicle, has become old…

Land Rover Discovery 4 or Range Rover
Hello all, I am looking for a Land Rover Discovery 4 or alternatively a Range Rover. I would like to use the vehicle for my daily work path (25 km easy distance) as well as for longer trips with the family (up to 450 km at a time). In addition, it should be able to pull a 3-ton trailer a few times a year. Especially important to me is: – Lots of equipment (e.g. leather seats, sliding roof, Navi etc.) – mileage of a maximum of about 130,000 km – reliability I would be very happy about recommendations or experiences with these models! Is there something special that I should pay attention to when buying? So far I have not been/have not yet been based at LandRover. However, I already had some vehicles from Mercedes, Audi, VW. I hope to sit at your height soon Many greetings, Marcel

Strange switching behavior at evoque 2017
Hello, I bought an Evoque 2.0 TD4 4×4 110kw-150hp BJ2017 about half a year ago. The first car I could afford to see something the same way! What I noticed when I admitted the things from my old car to the new one was that the Evoque wrote to me “please start the engine battery weak” good I am a lot driver so no thing… However, after a few days I noticed that he was from the 2nd to the 3rd gear at medium speed (approx.2700-3000u/min) u After some time it started from 4 to 5. And now at the cold temperatures (1-2 cred) it has a problem to close the converter in the morning, so I drive about 500 meters only over the converter (it switches but) only after a short stop after approx.500 meters drive the converter makes again normal. Then I had the transmission oil change 3.5 of approx.6 liters. (rest is in the converter) That has the rough insert n the gears a bit improved but not completely eliminated. And the converters problems with the cold start are still there. Can someone help me further? Can this be due to the battery collapsed 6 months ago? Or is there something broken? Lg Georg

Search Leasing Successor with 6 Zyl. Diesel
Hello, after many years BMW I changed to the Volvo XC60 2 years ago (significantly better leasing conditions). Now I want to drive a 6cylinder again and look for a successor for the Volvo. Unfortunately BMW (x3 30d or 40d) is in the conditions underground and so I am by chance on the Velar D300 hits, which I like very much. Now I read again and again about engine problems. How bad is the topic? I want to avoid standing in the workshop every few weeks. there are other problems with the vehicles? Leasing would be planned 36/15-20tkm p.a. and that should go without engine damage or bigger problems ?? g Peter
