Full-year tyres on the RR LG405
Moin municipality, so slowly it gets colder outside and the temperatures sink into the single-digit range. Time to think about changing tyres. Now I have the “problem” that my new RR is not delivered until mid-November and I drive a RR demonstration car from the dealer until then. This is equipped with all-year tires. Since I don’t trust this GJR (in my view nothing half and nothing whole), my RR gets missed classic seasonal tires; i.e. in winter Winter tires and summer summer tires. Now it can be that it snows in the beginning / middle of November, therefore the question, how the experiences of the RR(S) with GJR are on snow and ice. According to the LR marketing the RR(S) the GJR is completely enough to get everywhere…Terrain Response be thank you. Has someone already been on the road with GJR the whole winter and how are the experiences in winter road conditions? I don’t want to experience a bad awakening with the demonstrator.

RRS1 2012 V8 5.0 SC – Electronics Total failure
Hello everybody, first of all a good, low-repair, new year. With me it starts already well… I thought I started nicely with a complete care proramm for my RRS1 and I went to a cleaning company in Munich this morning. Cars left and nice breakfast. After two hours I come back, car is already blitzblank there, then the cleaner comes to me and says that he can not start the car. I take the key and try everything, but nothing does itself… The doors are all on (except the trunk), and: front parking lights and rear lights are on – otherwise everything is completely dead. The cleaning says they didn’t do anything except drive the car to the cleaning place, open the doors and then deposit the key in the office. I thought: Shit, something with the Key-Less key, maybe battery, etc… So get out in the snow – since yesterday here in Munich has come down neatly – in the open air Then before the RRS1: No reaction, no difference – the car is dead. Except the bright lights at the front and at the back that can not be switched off. No warning flash, no control lights, no screen, no indoor lighting at open doors, etc… I thought of fuses or any plug in the interior that might have been disconnected while cleaning. I have now spent almost two hours checking everything as far as known, ne In the case of a mobile phone I looked for similar problems, some fuses that seemed relevant to me (interior and engine compartment), but nothing… I had to leave the car there now, no workshop or breakdown service available at short notice… Can anyone imagine what could be going on? Battery? But why do the lights light up in front and back? To not empty the battery I have the fuses S24 and S25 for the front and rear lights in the interior fuse box Asten removed. I would be really grateful for advice. Greetings.

Radio doesn’t make a sound
Hello friends. I have a problem with my radio. A Harman/Kardon ProLocig7 went off this morning, the radio turned on. This also goes on, but does not bring any sound. Also on CD no sound. Not even a noise. When I operate the Laustärkenregulator no display for the volume.Radio on and off does not change it. After about 8 km drive it suddenly goes again….I had the last days a par times the feeling that the sound is quieter than usual. And at the T Elefonieren about the hands-free system I had a ,scheppern, in the loudspeakers. Can it be that the amplifier says goodbye? If so, where does it sit? I thank you for your advice LG

Is it from my Range Rover dealer ? ? ? – What should I do ?
Hi I’m supposed to pick up my new Velar the day after tomorrow. I bought the one in a rather large car dealership here in the area. But now start the problems already before. I ordered the car and on my order confirmation were underother vehicle assistance package and vehicle assistance package premium. The whole minus my discount. Now I got the invoice, and there is the vehicle assistance package NOT listed (price around 1260 euro) The final price remains the same however. E ntwede the assistance package is included in the premium, or it has not been co-ordered. Answer from the seller, we are working on it… Pointing to the discount, he has made as if he didn’t hear that. (I hope I could express myself well enough) The second point is that I have now pointed out to the seller several times that I would like to have the latest update to be able to use Carplay. I always get the answer, yes, I check with the service. word I’ve been getting for a week now. What would you do? Thank you for your answer.

Purchase advice Range Rover Vogue 4.4 TDV8
Good evening on all sides After a long search I found a suitable Range Rover Vogue 4.4 TDV8 (EZ 11/2011). The vehicle has now around 90’000km on the clock and was regularly waited and repaired at Land Rover. It is still supposed to cost around 33,000 SFr. I would be interested – since the 4.4 TDV8 is not undisputed – with which durability / maximum driving performance I can expect. Regular service provided. I have to pay attention to something special; are special problems known? Many thanks for your feedback and opinions. Your S.

DS – Exhaust gas cleaning smoke and stench
Hello everybody, I have a question for the diesel drivers. The exhaust gas cleaning on my DS MY2017, 180 hp diesel has become a massive nuisance for me. After now 56,000 km in 1.5 years the interval has become ever shorter, partly only 60 km between the cycles. But the worst is the smoke and stench! When the cleaning starts again in the city traffic and I have to stop because of traffic, I now have to turn off the ventilation completely. If the vehicle is then standing, thick clouds of smoke come from the engine compartment and push at the sides and at the cooler out of the engine compartment, I have already been addressed: “Your car burns. Everyone who drives with me immediately notices the smell and is appalled. I have not experienced anything like this at VW, Mercedes, or BMW before. Twice already with the friendly about it, they say that is normal and I should just drive and not stand. Great tip, because I can’t control when the cleaning starts. And strictly according to Murphy’s law, the cleaning NEVER runs when I’m near the workshop to demonstrate it… What’s this like with you? Similar experiences? I really like driving the vehicle but by now I’m longing for the end of the leasing period 🙁

Does the RRS have no auto-hold function?
Hi there, for a few days now I’m also an RRS driver (the current model) It’s my first Landrover and I’m already having a lot of fun after a few days. Unfortunately, I’m not familiar with all the functions yet. Among other things, I haven’t been able to find out how to activate the Auto-hold function (the name given to VW and Daimler). Does the Range Rover have this function at all? (Can’t imagine that it doesn’t have that) For information on this topic, please contact: thank you already in advance quite cordial greetings

Another Defender newcomer! Defender 110 comes from Dubai
I bought a Defender 110 Bj 07/94. A friend bought it from Dubai half a year ago and registered it as a truck in Germany. It should be a 3.9 liter engine with 182, which apparently only existed in the USA. Now I’ve been looking like stupid for parts, because I want to make it completely technical, but I can’t find this engine anywhere. Where can I get parts?

New RRS and a few questions…
Good evening, today finally our RRS was delivered and we were very happy. It seems to work as far as it is, but neither the seller nor I managed to get the card updates to run. The car reported a new update after the start, we then created an account and a profile, unfortunately it did not manage to add the car via the serial number. It is short there, but is not stored and is not to be found in my vehicles in the account The second question relates to the automatic lowering. Although the seller has activated this under settings in the instrument cluster under comfort settings (hook at car entry height), but I have the feeling there is nothing to do. Do you have to do something there and have to stand the car absolutely flat so that this works (stands with us at the roadside and thus of course slightly slanting)? I would be grateful about help, otherwise we will use tomorrow’s Sunday to get the vehicle etw to test more extensively. Greetings
