  • Velar air suspension defective?

Hello dear community, I have rummaged through the forums, but unfortunately I have nowhere encountered the same problem that plagues me by now. I am the Paddi, come from near Ffm and have for 2 years the Velar D300 with air suspension. I bought the Velar in Passau with 42tsd km and have now 78tsd km on it. Now to the problem: From a certain speed (about 110/120kmh) on the highway the vehicle starts to swing in right curves. This is extreme and can only be stabilized by reducing the speed. You can imagine it so, you drive comfortably along the highway, there is a right turn, you drive in and suddenly the vehicle starts to swing like on the sea. Land rover Frankfurt has had it with you for 1 month now and tested it. I was told I had to change all shock absorbers, 50% culant they would take over. u much since I have already changed the complete brakes due to this problem at LR because the swinging was allegedly from a defective brake disc. It did not help. Did you have such a thing before? Does anyone have an idea what it could be? Why should defective shock absorbers only show their defect in a right-hand curve and in how far can it be checked? I would be very happy if we could discuss it before I throw out money here again to the window. PS. The car was never in the Ground moving.

  • Coolant

Hello you love , I need a advice ! I drive since March 2020 a Range Rover Sport from 2013 last facelift before new model ! I had about a year ago in a workshop the coolant container replaced , because of notification , until then also everything ran Now weeks ago he went back and again into the emergency run , had then water after filled , then was again good ! Now the message coolant came back low , since I now have to have the complete container replaced again , the Display was exactly 3 days away , then it started again ! Meanwhile comes and goes the message constantly , the container itself is full ! He loses no liquids … In the emergency run he goes NOT anymore ! But the flash is annoying ! So the container probably did not make any problems At the last read out , the computer showed air masses knives , there he went but emergency run Has who ideas and can help ? What is broken ?

  • Range Rover Sport brake discs defective?

Greetings, this summer I drove on the highway and braked at 140 km/h, through the car went a very strong vibration and I was terrified. A dealer at the place of arrival said it would be the brake discs at the back irresistible because you feel nothing in the steering wheel. My dealer says, that is not included in the guarantee because it is a wear part. After not even 22,000 km and almost 2 years brake discs replace?? You have to replace both discs incl. brake blocks, my Hä ndler. Have you had something like this already or can you tell me something useful about it? Why are they suddenly improbable?? I’ve never had all my car life like this. I’m completely unportable and just gliding there. Thank you for your experience!

  • Air conditioning problem solved by Velar

Hello I open a separate Tread, which it otherwise goes down with „Velar experiences and weak points with the time and it nevertheless affects some users here. Remember, at warm outside temperatures the air conditioning automatic in the Velar has always blown very strongly and it was accordingly very busy. I had today the vehicle in the workshop, among other things because of this problem. A problem, of which the workshop had of course never heard of before One has the air conditioning again In addition, a software update was made, but doesn’t know which one exactly. All day kilometers and the average consumption were dwindling. Software version is still 19C. The problem has definitely been fixed. It is like day and night. When setting “easy and quiet” you even have doubts if it is running at all. I tested at 17 degrees and then played through the individual modis, the differences in the fans hwindigkeit are clear. Before you could adjust what you wanted, it was always equally heavy. So, now all off to the dealer, it’s worth it!

  • AT tyres for Disco4

I’m just getting a black Disco4 with 20mm distance discs and I’m looking for AT-slips in the format 255/55 R20. The normal AllSeason etc. just look too harmless. Because it’s our second car, I don’t care about things like extra consumption or increased rolling noise etc. The M+S with snowflake should be on it already because I don’t really want to have a second set of tires – also wg. the low mileage. On Reifen.com I find only 4 tires (from 3 manufacturers). Does anyone have a recommendation from their own experience?

  • Crankshaft fine balances

Hello, we have the decision to take over our leased RRS. We had no problems with the car, except for two uninsolved accidents that have been repaired at LR (was good damage of a total of approx. 25K). It is the small diesel V6 Facelift from 2019 with 45000 km. Thanks to Corona we could drive it only little. After the contributions to the many engine damage I have dealt a little more with the engine. Often two things are recommended: 1. Oil change all 6 months at 2nd crankshaft (which is probably the weak point) fine balancing. I have never heard of the latter before. Now my question: Does this really bring something? We would get the vehicle with 2 years approved guarantee, after that connection guarantees from other companies are possible. Has someone just with these connection guarantees from other companies experience regarding an engine damage, because if we buy the car, we also want to drive it even more than two years.

  • Range Rover Sport 2008 Air suspension can no longer be lowered

I’m about to buy a RRS 2008 V8 diesel. Unfortunately, this is an odyssey due to the problematic diesel. Now I would have a completely served at Avalon Munich (invoice 9000 Euro in March), so Krummer etc. Turbos have already been exchanged. So everything is already exchanged. Now he has the problem that he can’t be lowered by air suspension at once. I would like to have the car, since I have enough of dubious dealers, foreign sellers n etc. I would rather buy one of these from a German businessman, who was served completely only at Land Rover. Well, someone knows this error picture and can dare a remote diagnosis? What can it be and what can it cost me about?

  • Range Rover as well as Range Rover Sport – what’s next?

Greetings, I have decided to buy a RR Sport HSE Dynamic with 249 hp quite spontaneously (so after a short test drive) and have been driving the vehicle for 4 months now. So far I can’t say anything negative and am very satisfied. I always wanted one and have let my emotions run free Since I know little about this brand and my vehicles don’t drive too long, I wanted to ask you how he thinks it’s going on. The RR as well as the RR Sport has What are the intervals for these cars? When do you think you can expect a new model from the two vehicles? Thank you!
