Hello! I would like to buy a new caravan for trips with my friend through Europe (in summer at the same height or north and in winter to the south). The towing vehicle is a Chevrolet Epica with front wheel drive, 143hp with an unladen weight incl. faher of 1560kg and has a trailer load of 1600kg, which however should not be used to enable sufficient climbing ability. Requirements for the caravan: 1. cost-effective and economical in operation 2. easy (also suitable for large climbs), furnishings rather spartan, thus no heavy furniture 3. well isolated, as dense as possible, in order to be able to use the car also during the transition season and in the Southern European winter 4. well suited for autonomous operation, as mainly no campsites are to be approached 5. 100km/h registration and as safe as possible also on medium mountain and alpine roads 6. Operation as many consumers with gas as possible, since independently of the electricity grid is to be camped (eventually gas refrigerator instead of compressor, gas convection furnace and gas heater) 7. possibly similar to Deseo Box only slightly larger but with shower etc.

Purchase advice on used caravans
Hello, can anyone recommend a manufacturer or a model (ll. because he owns one of them)? Have once bothered me with my slow Internet (thanks to the verd. Terrorkom at this point) and from hundreds of offers 20 WoWa’s with all the significant data written out, and then again the four, which most agreed with me. It is important to me, among other things, that there are no round seating group, but only two benches (with table) so to speak across the direction of the journey, a “fixed bed” again across the bow, and a kitchen in the rear. Even if not all these criteria can be met with the generally important aspects and a compromise must be found … here the four WoWa’s, which are in the narrow selection: Hobby 440 SFe Exclusive Model 2000 … 12.1999 7,000,- Hobby de Luxe 440 ……………………… 3.2001 } 7,500,- Dethleffs 430T NewLine ………………… 4.1999 } over 6,000,- Cristall of TSF 430 } would like to stay in it alone.

Towing vehicle for caravans for European tour
What do you think is a one-year European tour with a trailer and you’re looking forward to the big question which train is suitable for you? My favorite BMW was once an Alhambra because the car has sliding doors and the children like to open the door themselves. In the city, with small parking spaces, sliding doors are worth gold. Now I have read so much bad about the clutch at the Alhambra and am unsure. You don’t really find it used with all-wheel drive. Since we will be on the road for a whole year, the train will be very demanding. The roads in Poland, Italy or Turkey are partly adventurous. (We have time far away from the tourist destinations to look at the “real” country.) Our desired caravan will weigh with extra charge around the 1.8t. My questions to you: Who is driving an Alhambra and caravan without prejudice across the Alps? Does the clutch already have a lot to recommend for Mercedes and also down? Is rear drive so much better? An overlay was simply to buy an older Mercedes or BMW from me as a Laie? Have a good impression?

Order WOMO as a van, reach the load limit?
Hello together, we family 2 adults with 2 children eight and ten years would like to order us a box van with set-up roof. With awning and some small extras we are already at almost 3270 Kg. So we still have 230 kilos of extra charge the people are not even included there. minus the co-travellers we would still have an extra charge of about 100kg for bed linen and food. Is that enough or how do you do that? We have decided a 6,36 m with long beds and set-up roof, because we do not want to do without the sleeping comfort. Then rather save at another point… Load up or a camper we do not want to take advantage of because we want to use the advantages of a box van. In particular we are more for short trips like e.g. city trips… I think that in general with box vans the extra charge especially as a family with children shows itself rather as very difficult. How solves this problem? Or is this generally so and one takes the risk to drive something overloaded? I am very grateful for every advice. Lg.

Beginner’s questions Caravans
Servus together, Since I’ve been together with my wife, we have the tradition of going camping once a year. Until now, camping has meant. Now, however, child No. 2 is on the road, we don’t get younger and a small need for convenience is growing. Tents are still great – but we just want a little bit more independence from the weather. (The last two tent adventures were rather humid. And in the tent it was very fast, very tight and the possibilities to deal with us were quickly exhausted.) Now we want to get ourselves a caravan. He should have space for 4 people (2 big, 2 small) and the extra charge should be reasonably good. Shower, toilet, etc would be ok, but are not necessary because we usually use the facilities on camping places. But the offer of used ones (especially the brands) in all price classes does not overwhelm us very little. We need a small push in the right direction. I know that the questions are extremely general – however, it is very difficult to formulate questions, because I don’t want to know anything about it, but I don’t want to learn a lot about it.

old fendt vs new hobby
Hi I got into the camping in 2005 with a used Fendt Joker Bianco 510. Since then I have brought a few kilometers and nice vacations behind me, that’s my thing, I’m going on. However, the Fendt comes slowly into the years, because the one or other plastic part is already broken. Therefore I think now to have the Fendt completely repaired again, or to buy something new. In the eye I have a hobby Prestige 540 WLU, the floor plan is brilliant from my point of view. A new Fendt sapphire is in the same price range, but the bath of the hobby is looking for its same, that only offers the Fendt Topas 620 WGD. The WW would be my dream, but that can’t pull my Vectra, which is already above limit with 1600kg and can only buy up to 8%. The awning of the Fendt with its 14 years is also no longer the most beautiful in one place. For me, that means to polish up the old Fendt and buy a new tent, or a new hobby with 14 new hobby with a new greeting.

Which bus to pull my caravan
Hello, we have bought a caravan and that is a Dethleffs 515 RK (1500 kg load 1800 kg). At the moment we are still driving a caddy that can pull 1500, but now a new vehicle should come in. There are a few corner points that the vehicle should have: 1. traction power up to 1800/2000 kg 2. price up to 20,000/21.000 € 3. stationary heating (possibly alternative=?) 4. starter coupling (can also be retrofitted) 5. …. A friend says to me he should have all-rat, but unfortunately I don’t know if I need that besides, the vehicles really cost a lot of wood and some don’t even offer that. 6. He should get a lot of KM on it. (long-term danger) To the individual brands I can only judge by stumbling from the internet, whether this is wrong or correct I can’t say: Vw with a little km too expensive.. with a lot of worthwhile? Opel price performance is good enough with 120ps biturbo to pull so much in the praxsis I don’t need a Bian family for a Bian.

Resignation of purchase contract / water damage
Hello, together, in October of last year we acquired a hobby Prestige 610. As it turned out, the part of core scrap. Have had an expert report carried out by the Dekra, where it was finally written broken. Lawyer is turned on, lawsuit runs. The seller has praised the caravan as very well and in a super condition. We also believed that without further ado because he has a bill of a caravan workshop about the testing of the WW as well as a fresh HU of the TÜV Rheinland which he passed without defects. Now my question: How can this be? How can a workshop and the TÜV overlook such gross damage or wave through? Nobody does anything like that… The papers look real. Is the quality of the construction of the WW even HU relevant? Questions about questions. I’m pretty sure that we have the right on our side and one can blame the seller for such malicious deception. Only this HU report wurds me. The seller calls on this now and gives away from the massive water damage that ultimately led to total unusuality. Of course, I don’t know anything about their experience about the TÜV.

Who has own experience with ERIBA “Feeling”
Who can report from as own experience as possible about the ERIBA “feeling”. Above all also about the function of the folding roof and the sleeping place under the roof. I saw the vehicle at a dealer and was very pleased with the variant. However, would like to learn more from the users of this model. In advance a thank you to the Feeling camper.
