Hallo Gemeinde Habe 14 days ago for the first time allowed me a RR, up to now Audi, BMW and CO, and to this day I am fully satisfied, except for the Navi, that fits to such a car probably not so right, you could expect more. But, whining on high level halt. After the operating instructions is very poor I would like to turn to you today, because the “Navi contributions” are all older and I do not know if these apply to my Evoque MY19. I have the 8` inch Navi verba ut with InControl, so not the Pro version (was not planned in the Black Edition). If I enter a destination now, the Navi leads me although set on the fastest route always on a route that is definitely not the fastest. Which one is selected by the Navi, I cannot understand. As a local expert, I ignore that then, drive as it should be right, and see there, the Navi then adjusts the new route afterwards and at 30km distance suddenly e In the new route, which is then 10-15 minutes faster. I can then continue the game until really the fastest route is reached. Also, I am not clear about it, do I have TMC or not? A TMC character at the top of the screen is not displayed, but in the settings I can set TMC with Yes/No. Only TA is displayed, whether with DAB or FM car radio operation. What I want is to set the fastest route of A>B, automatic route guide Is this possible? What am I doing wrong? Thank you for your input.

Annoying Weaknesses
Looking at a lot of things that can be read here in the forum, I’m a bit worried about the first big flaws of my 2018 Evoque. I’ve been driving it for six weeks and have great fun; so far I only have small weaknesses to complain about. So I often get the page “Precaution while shunting” after the parking page instead of the rear camera, which can’t be clicked away, even though the camera would be much more useful. The beepers seem to be slightly overzealous, report like to scan the unevenness of the road? Most annoying: the phone book takes over only a few numbers of my iPhone and does not even recognize many of the contacts taken over after voice input.

Evoque ; battery problems , engine does not start…….
Hello, I hope someone here has an idea that workshops can not get there. Have one : Evoque Prestige 2 Automatic Diesel 4×4 110kw Bj 2014 Some equipment (Stand Heating, Keyless, Surround Cameras,Drive/Safety Assistants, Tyre Pressure…..) One year after purchase went off; Stand Heating never starts , Automatic tailgate and seat adjustment spins sometimes. Shortly afterwards; Before engine start always the message: engine start, system runs down in 1min. After 2 years; engine leaves but it didn’t shut down all the systems as it should to guarantee a motor start, everything went (keyless system,radio,ventilation,light…..) except auxiliary heating. Was very often in the workshop, battery was charged several times but 1.5 days later again problems, various updates…. A year ago then battery changed = everything goes again, at least for a year, so until now. Drive mainly work&retour = 2x 15 km tgl., but even after 200Km the battery is not far enough charged that all goes. In my opinion the undervoltage assistant is not mature /spinning, because it does not shut everything down before voltage is too low to start and something pulls vmtl. permanently current. Perhaps. Do the assistants/cameras/sensors….. also need too much during the ride why the short distance is not enough to charge? Does there possibly. Anyone else have an idea? Or else a recommendation for a new battery with large He’s got capacity, then I’ll trade it again.

Navi display options
Hello together, I would have a question, and this is about the display options of the Navi. There you can set that on the right side of the display traffic disabilities are displayed. Unfortunately, the distances up to the disability are displayed there and not on which country, federal road or highway these are located. This is only shown when you select an entry. I am not interested however how far it is to a, for me partly uninteresting disability is t, but if this is on my way. So, my question: there is a way (I couldn’t find anything to do with it), to switch this ad so that the place of the disability and not the distance there is displayed. Thank you already, for your feedback greeting he_es

Evoque annual service at Ford dealer?
Hello, the topic of annual service has already been discussed. As our 🙂 experience shows that their sales stamp is even more gilded (pcs. with costs for overpriced engine oils) and the Evoque has a certain “connection” to Ford (components, engine) I came up with the idea of having the annual service (for our Evoque TD 2.2 MY 15 BJ 11.2014) done by a Ford dealer. So far we have down about 70000km, thus also outside the manufacturer’s warranty. What do you think about the service? at Ford? (to have the brakes renewed)? Advantages? Disadvantages? Thanks for the feedback and greetings from Ron

Evoque Meridian extended with Android Box
Hello, as a base I have a 2014 Pure Tech with Meridian 380W without a return camera. Since I have not used the original Navi due to lack of real-time traffic data for a long time instead my iPhone with Waze used I hit this Android box from China. I must say I am positively surprised. The box is connected with instead of the Originalnavi. I installed it in the glove compartment in the small compartment for the BDA. Costs amount to approx. 500 Euro incl. import turnover control. Not cheap but I mean it is worth it because the functions are very extensive. For me important functions like Waze, Blitzer.de, Spotify really work very well. I can also connect a rear camera. Next I will tap on the original GPS antenna. Now I have to learn Android. unfortunately there is no such thing based on IOS. Greeting Bülent

Oil loss SD4 190hp Diesel
Hello together, have an oil loss with my Evoque. Are always dripping between the transmission and engine as well as slightly higher up the distribution gear. Is on at least engine oil. Can it be the seal from the oil tank or the crankshaft immersing? The inner toothed crane disc where the torque converter is flanged is dry. I attached pictures once. Vehicle is built in 2012 and has run 64000km.

Buying advice Evoque
Hello together, we think about replacing my wife’s 2010 BMW X1 2.0d with an Evoque Si4 Dynamic from 2012 (LR dealer). The Evoque in question has only run 32000 km and is from 1st hand. Since we are both a bit car-crazy, but have no idea of Land Rover at all, it would be helpful to know what you have to pay attention to when buying and where the vulnerabilities of Evoque lie. I have of course already read across here and the impression that the Evoque is either full n are unobtrusive or have extremely many problems. A “intermediate thing” does not seem to exist. Is that so? With our X1 we have had no trouble at all, but the sense of something else stands. It should only be equally inconspicuous in everyday life its service. So – where are the most common problems, how reliable are the Land Rovers and what must I pay attention to during the test drive? If this is the xte thread on this topic, it also does a link – I could not to find the most meaningful. Thank you and many greetings Peter

Volume Navi media
Hello together, nothing found right about the search… Is there a setting that automatically lowers the volume of the audio playback (i.e. music via radio, CD… USB etc.) when the Navi voice output “starts”? I know this from other systems so that the volume of the audio playback is lowered as soon as the Navi has “something to say”. So the volume of audio and Navi is set immediately, for example, by the automatic lowering of audio wins the Navi At the moment, only: Navi remains really loud, so that normal loud music is “done”, or turn down music, so that normal loud navigational statements can be perceived. I feel a bit annoying, because when you travel by Navi longer and between the announcements time passes. If you turn the radio louder in between, then it can happen that you miss an announcement – or you drive just the whole time with moderate R adio volume… If you turn the navigator up properly so that you don’t miss anything, you’ll get a scare when it suddenly has something to say… Thanks for information!
