Hello, in January 08 we picked up the Mazda2 as a new car. Since my wife and I drive every day at work (about 160 km/day), we already have about 14000 km on the clock. Now we drove our first longer distance of 810 km (back+back) Just before we were back home, my wife said that there was a roaring sound coming from the rear left. I had already suspected that it was the bike camp, but already after 13500 km?????? I was in the last week Tuesday (17.06.) Workshop. Wheel bearings were ordered and should be mounted Fridays. Fridays were there… they ordered the wrong wheel bearings!!!!! Next date should be past Tuesday, but there was nothing there. Every day we were comforted to the next day, but it should definitely be done this week. Hhhhmmm today is Sunday and nothing happened. I am pissed off at the Mazda workshop. The next Mazda contract workshop is almost 40 km away and in service also n I really hope that it will finally be done next week. This is not our only problem with the Madza 2. In April and June the airbag warning light was constantly on. Each time it was a solved plug on the passenger airbag. Should it happen again the airbag has to be replaced. With the new Mazda we have more problems than with our older 626, which we have as the 2nd car. Has anyone already had similar experiences??? Greeting yuri79

I am not happy with the Mazda at all. The reverse gear goes hard in, sometimes I need 2 or 3 runs until I finally have it in. The cold start runs without problems, usually also the warm start, but for a few weeks there has been a curious phenomenon: If the vehicle is started cold and driven only a few kilometers, the vehicle has start problems at the next start. (Typical driving profile: back to the beverage market and 15 minutes later.) The engine starts up, but runs extremely unevenly, runs out again in idle, whereby the engine is poorly gas and according to Bordcomp. the fuel consumption is between 70 – 90 l/100km. Let the vehicle stand overnight and the next day can be started without any problems, the engine run is round.
