Hello, I am not an Evoque driver and actually almost exclusively on the A7 forum. Now I have a question about the Evoque and hope you can help me. A friend asked me last week if you can change the speaker cover individually? You probably broke this on the passenger side and Land Rover shared with that the exchange will cost about 1,600,– €, since you have to change the complete door interior panel. What do you say? Thank you in advance. Add two more photos of the cover. Greetings Marc

Indefinable noise while driving
Hello dear EVOuque driver / inside My Sd4 automatic has been making unresolvable noises for quite some time now and again that come from the front to the left. Most of the time they occur in cornerings but also when driving straight ahead e.g. when driving on or in traffic jam and often a clear jerking is noticeable. it feels like the front left wheel is braked out. It does not light up an esp lamp or anything else. Unfortunately this is not reproducible. it kicks times 100 km not at all then again on 10 km in every second turn The noises can be described as a scratching or grinding, always two or three times. The car was now already 3 times in the workshop because of this error. The workshop master drove 500 km by car and did not hear it. finally the transmission software has been updated :-)… After that the switching processes were cleaner however I now jerked and cracked on the hi when switching back under load. nterachse. The previous explanation from LR Deutschland for the noises is that the control valves for the load distribution can be heard. Does any of you have the same problems?? or already heard of it. am grateful about every info lg eifelrover

Replacement vehicle in the warranty period
Hello municipality! The following happened: Saturday noon my intact replacement vehicle Discovery Sport, which I got for my RRE convertible in the workshop, parked on the roadside. In the evening a violent thunderstorm raged over Hamburg and today I noticed a damage to the windshield, looks like a stone blow directly in the driver’s field of view. Question therefore: who has experienced such a case and with whom exists the contractual relationship for the car, with the dealer or the car rent? And isn’t a compensation of € 3000 for a JLR replacement car promised in the guarantee somehow unethical?

Exhaust tailpipes of different length Model year 2016
Quotation: @cmoss wrote on 10 March 2017 at 12:14:00 am: I have a big problem with mine now: The left exhaust at my SE stands out about 2 cm further than the right …….. Change? Glährerleistung in Linz (180 km)? No, it’s a big problem for me! ———————— Hello Master cmoss, a bather would never care…..he would grab to help himself! There we are pingy…if something doesn’t fit. PS: see if the two tailpipes…are sow I just don’t know how to make it fit with a piece of wood and hammer a little bit to work on the long…then it could fit…….but see if it’s really just plugged in before….I’m not 100% sure ————————– Addendum and new thread, since I haven’t found anything about it yet and have currently measured it on our RRE SE model year 2016. Hello cmoss, Badner’s inaccuracies don’t leave any rest and so I measured yesterday and took a photo. with our SE Diesel 150PS the tailpipes are different lengths….the left (driver side) is 4.5mm longer ahead. Did this with the help of a gauge and a measuring slider measured. The indication that this can possibly be solved with some force is wrong the tailpipes are welded. That with you “Cmoss” here should be a difference of 20mm is already considerable. Question: do others also have this length difference on your RREs? picture in the appendix

How to check front disc heating? Dealer is incapable, please for help!
Hello dear forum. I have a problem with the Evoque Bj. 2012 my girlfriend. in the past winter it turned out that the front disc heating was completely without function. Since we still have a used car warranty, we brought the car to the local RR dealer. This then changed the front window for a considerable amount. Since the customer manager of this shop is a real hot air blower and he us now fabulous 5 months (!) with the Abwi I would like to check the repair done of course. Only how do I do that? In the meantime it has been >15°C outside and this is of course very bad. I put the car overnight in a 10°C garage and then measured it with an infrared thermometer in the morning. However, there was no rash greater than 0.3°C when the heater was switched on and I measured it over a period of 10 minutes. Although the indicator light on the button is shining, however, ic h no relay in the interior or safety box hear. I also asked the dealer to describe to me a plausible test procedure, how he tested the heater or how I could test it myself. Since he told my friend an adventurous story, she should put me in the car with boiling water and watch the fitting. Furthermore an infrared thermometer is not suitable here. One cannot check this, we should wait for the winter So I’m afraid we can’t claim this repair until the next winter. But then both the used car warranty and the 6 month warranty on the windscreen repair have expired. So is there anyone here who can give me more information about the front window heating? Does anyone have a schematic, so that I can measure the outputs on the control unit? whether the slide has a temperature switch that allows the heating function only below a certain outside temperature? If so, where does this sensor sit? Where is the control unit for the front window heating? Thank you very much for your help.

Evoque creaks and rattles
Hello Evoque driver, I was able to do a test drive recently and was really impressed by the Evoque, but my RRE-Coupe test car, a dynamic with 19-inch and creaked heavily from the dashboard during the city ride. And also from the center console came flap noises. (There was nothing in the handgun and the center console was empty.) Now to my actual question: Do you have (or did) also knarr and/or squeak noises on your RRE or was that an absolute one-piece Okay, no one will like to admit something like that with such an expensive car, but for me it’s a matter of buying. No rattles and creaks at all. Greetings Mutalisk

Exchange of the control chain at 51000 kilomter
Land Rover has found that my control chain has struggled at a mileage of only 51,000 kilometers. The problem is the factory side far too long chain. With the new set, therefore a shorter and another spanner, the whole thing is improved. The costs amount to approx. 4000,-€ and I have to pay. Has someone already had such a case and already made a client request to LR?

p300 e-mode not available
Good day together, we always had the error message “e-modus not available” when driving off, so that the vehicle basically started with a burner, after about 2 kilometers then the E mode could be activated. The analysis with the friendly showed that there is a defect in the heating control. This error is very common (also for vehicles of other manufacturers, the spare part probably comes from the same supplier). Unfortunately the spare part is currently not delivered ar, replacement is only expected in several weeks. So long we drive the first kilometers with the gasoline engine at the current high syringe price. Are there others here with the same problem? Greetings Peter

Water in the interior behind the rear-view mirror
Hello dear Range Rover municipality. Had for a long time felt the water at my Evoque 2018 me panorama roof enters. Since yesterday when I got in and wanted to go, the water behind the rearview mirror came out so properly. In forums I could read several things, but really could not help me any post. It was reported by sequences of the panorama roof (which I can not find). Then glue the windscreen defective, until Panorama roof leaks. So Water runs right in front of the window above, water stains so far in the sky sky no. Does anyone know maybe more?? One more, when I bought it then 2 years ago, the previous owner had to have parked under a fir always, and I think something could be clogged … since back then also everywhere in the trunk on the frame have distributed many fir needles, is just a suspicion. In any case for a help from you I would be happy, beautiful Christmas

Motor preheaters
The diesel engines need a sense of eternity in the cold season until they get warm. Ok, steering wheel and seat heating compensate for this. But it’s still cold. The webasto offered from the factory, as can be seen in other places in the forum, also brings its quirks with it. Subsequent installation seems to be problematic. My dealer says anyway, that they have installed the Webasto installation kit only once and do not do that anymore, because there was only junk with it. the majority here will have a fixed night parking space, which is also equipped with a 220V connection, one could at least shorten the most important warm-up phase in the morning after a cold night with a motor preheater. Does this already have one installed here?? The things are relatively inexpensive and easy to install. Since no intervention in the on-board electrics takes place are also no problems to be expected. Unless one pulls the plug not before the Losfah Can anyone say anything about it? Pre-Christmas greetings to everyone! Sundowner
