  • Vibration and no end in sight…

Just before Easter, I had a brand new Evoque SE Dyn. (2.0 Diesel, 180hp, AWD). Unfortunately, I had to get away from the first kilometer, clearly noticeable vibrations. First of all, you think: wheels were balancing & mixing -> everything was good. But it wasn’t. Mostly better, but at different speeds and load dependent partly very heavy vibrations. Result: The vehicle stands SEIT PFINGSTEN at the dealer. Meanwhile, almost everything was exchanged: wheels, wheel bearings, drive axles, differentials ntiale, Kardanstrand, … In the meantime, I have decided to return the vehicle, or to change it. Wait to see how things go. I’m excited.

  • Maximum speed

Hello, I’ve had my RRE since the beginning of January and have tested the top speed on the highway for the first time today. On the speedometer exactly 190 km/h was read. What surprised me a little is that the speed did not increase even at downhill. The speedometer stood at 3100 rpm. You could have assumed that the speed was at least slightly increased at downhill. But no, the speedometer was exactly at 190 km/h. My question now is, someone here knows, whether the top speed is reduced? Not that I would not be fast enough, but I would just be interested. Thank you in advance for your contributions Greetings Romalima

  • Rank Rover Evoque SD4 rims 20″ V spokes started black.

Hello in the forum, after almost 4000 KM mileage all four original rims from my Range Rover Evoque have started to run black on the spokes and wheel nuts, it looks like wet brake dust, but does not go away. The car has never been treated with a rim cleaner or the like. On request by a specialist for coating technology, it may be due to a fault in the production, several layers (up to seven or eight) are applied on the aluminium material. The Range Rover dealer in Mannheim refuses any warranty and points out that he has to take care of it himself, probably the car has a warranty – or? How can Rang Rover and its dealer behave like that? Please post comments, thank you!

  • Interior lighting is crazy!

Hello, I have problems with the interior lighting again and again, which partly does what she wants. Normally the lighting goes on when unlocking the rear and front, and when starting the car it should extinguish itself again. But now it is phased so that this does not always work. It can also happen that the left lamp turns on itself during the ride. With the friendly one nothing could be determined. Of course is also a stupid problem welc Is there anyone else here? Greetings Jürgen

  • Change windshield – which one do I have?

Hey, I’m about to replace my windshield. I’ve had an Evoque BJ 2013, TD4 Dynamic with rain sensor and light sensor. Since I got a recommendation to do it in Hungary, I’ve asked myself there – the gentleman on the phone has asked nn whether I have solar reflector windshield or the green disk. My question would be how do I find out! What are the differences or how do I recognize this? Can you read this from the FIN somehow? Lg!

  • Engine buzzes at 1200-1600 rpm according to air filter box Out/Installation

Hello together, unfortunately since the weekend I have a problem with the engine noise at 1200-1600 u/min after an air filter box out or installation. The air filter box had to be removed due to the left defective lamp (abbreviation light). The air filter box was removed with the best conscience. It was only a plug connection a 10 screw and the clamp for the thick hose. After I drove now the noise immediately noticed. It was definitely There is a kind of “brum noise” / roaring which can be heard at an engine speed of 1200-1600 u/min. This noise can be heard during the ride and in idle. Who had already this problem or has heard of it ? I am very grateful for all tips on remedy. Many greetings, Dennis

  • Evoque consumption

Hello! The Evoque is supposed to have a very “moderate” consumption – according to manufacturer data, e.g. the TD4 is at 6.4l / 100km. Now I have never managed to get under 10 liters during my test drives with automatic and switch. Well, I have already “stepped” something, just at the beginning. Hazards I am once 200 km, and once 50km. But what are realistic values? The manufacturer specification is anyway far below the real average, that is already clear to me. However, the 10L What was your test consumption like? Or if you already have one, what is it like? On short distance he will probably need a little more than on long distance, I am aware of that. Drive 2x 12 km into the office every day, so that would be interesting. Thank you for your help!

  • Evoque? God forbid! Land Rover? Never again!

Range Rover Evoque 5-door SE 2.0 TD4. Purchased as a new car in October 2015. And it goes even further. The dispensing dealer refuses to repair by silence. LR Germany points out that one is not the contact person, but everything has to be clarified only by the dealer. Incidentally – the multitude of these defects are no reason for land Rover as well as its contract workshop to take the car back. Does everything still seem to be within the scope of the My heating is defective, but it will not be repaired. By remote diagnosis on the phone, an LR partner told me that it works. Just like the pre-alarm. As long as no indicator light lights up, the system is in order. To demonstrate that it really works, however, you can’t. Hm – you have to drive the car against the wall first. I’m shocked. What the quality of the wagon In terms of the quality of Land Rover and the partner workshops. And here we go into the history – in twelve months the car was in repair about 6 weeks. By the way – two contract workshops refuse to repair the car in the meantime. With criticism of the work one can probably not deal with. 1. One day after the pick-up the car remained for the first time after I had driven 33!!! kilometers with it. After a ten day repair the car was dan The car was officially called back by Land Rover to the workshop on December 29, 2015, as wrongly laid cables could lead to an engine failure. (Recall 5735 of the Kraft-fahrtbundesamt). 3. In January 2016, the car had to go back to the workshop because the sound system of the car caused massive vibration noise in the dashboard. The steering column vibrated while accelerating. 4. In March 2016, another deficiency was found that the right side of the dashboard was vibrating when starting up. 5. In May 2016, massive vibrations again occurred in the use of the sound system, which had led to a workshop stay already in January 2016. 6. In June 2016, the car had to go back to the workshop, reason a defect of the air conditioning system, which cooled so much that it was set to up to 27 degrees Celsius. In addition, I noticed that the navigation system of the car (compared to that of the demonstration car) is extremely slow. Finally, the problem of vibrations when using the sound system had not improved. 7. A further workshop stay in June 2016 was due to the same defect of the air conditioning system and continuing vibration when using the sound system. 8. In July 2016 another call back was made. h Land Rover, so that the car had to return to the workshop again. The reason for this was a lack of engine cover, which could lead to the exit of diesel fuel (recall action 6212 of the Kraftfahrtbundesamt). 9. In August 2016 the car was again in repair, the work carried out on the navigation system at that time led to the fact that it no longer works slowly, even the problems with the air conditioning were temporarily fixed. 10. In a new repair date – a replacement In September 2016, the vibrations in the interior were finally eliminated. According to Land Rover, this was a design error caused by incorrectly mounted cable clips. Furthermore, the squeaking brakes of the car were replaced. Another problem was that the navigation system of the car did not switch to night mode. In addition, lowering and lifting of the vehicle resulted in the fact that the vehicle had to be ordered and could not be installed until later. 11. In October 2016 the car had to return to the workshop again. The reason for this was that the air conditioning was again deficient, namely after about 20 minutes drive not really warmed. Since October 2016 there is also a new problem with the pre-alarm of the vehicle, which is without function. 12 November 2016 – Heating repaired. Pre-alarm analyzed. Two weeks workshop stay Current status : – the automatic air conditioning of the car does not warm up kons tant, but changes the temperature by several degrees, depending on whether you drive slowly or faster; – the vehicle’s advance alarm is defective (he does not warn) To be continued.

Are there actually alternatives to the pure or prestige tailpipes in the tuning area? I think they could be a little bigger …
