Hello MB-Forum ! I have to get rid of my negative experiences here in a MB branch. Today I was in a MB branch near us. There I examined among other things the CLS and the SLK. Throughout the whole time, the sellers did not notice me. OK I thought, is almost everywhere so. Then I asked the seller politely if he could close the CLS briefly. Yes, wonderful, opened up and straight out of the dust again. But now the best thing: After 5 minutes in the interior of the CLS, I wanted to look at the trunk. Salesman wanted, found and again politely asked if this was possible. Then the salesman in a “bad” tone: “Young man, you strict one but really!” I looked at at this moment only red! He opened up, but I had lost my pleasure. What happened to Mercedes-Benz? Are the customers always so scared of tomorrow? Or are they j without taking people seriously anymore, because they are not 99% of the clientele? Or was only the seller “geil” on the end of the day, which was just about to happen and therefore did not want to be disturbed anymore? After all the “monday cars” there seems to be also “Friday afternoon salesmen”… After what happened, I do not buy a Benz from this branch ! MFG, OPEL-FREAK1988

Contact for complaints in Stuttgart
Hello colleagues, I hope you can help. With me (320 CDI T-model) a so-called T-engine from DC was installed in Nuremberg in December 06. So far everything is in order. Only – nobody can (or wants) tell me which parts new and which old have been fitted to the new engine again. Is also a question of warranty. Answer from DC Nuremberg – they have guarantee, what will we decide for in case of damage! More is allegedly not known. I would like to contact DC in this regard in Stuttgart, only, where and to whom? Can someone give me an e-mail or other address? – With the answer of DC Nuremberg I can and do not want to be satisfied. (repair price approx. 10,000 Euro). Thank you in advance! howe

TÜV at the MB branch?
my car is already 3 years old these days and is therefore due for the technical main and exhaust gas examination. Also the Ndl, where I bought it, assyst-moderately wait and to which I maintain a fair customer relationship for many years, felt obviously obliged to point out to me the upcoming event. Incidentally in these days also a ‘big’ Assyst (‘B’ at CL203) at about 98 tkm is approaching. With previous vehicles I have the main and exhaust gas search and was sometimes also grateful for the sparse tips from an independent neutral. So the question arises whether I should have the TÜV done for the first time together with the Assyst by MB-Ndl. Do they give me the badge for the next 2 years? Do you want the TÜV to do the examination in about (+/- 10%) as much as the TÜV? What do you have for experience with the TÜV at MB? Thanks in advance nebumosis

Keep looking at Mercedes with a fog lamp, what’s that?
Moin you Benz driver! Have just a little question. Recently I have been looking at Mercedes, which only have the left fog lamp on. At first I thought the right one is just broken, but I have noticed that by now too often than one could still conclude for a defect. So explain me, what is it? Such a kind of cornering light?

Mercedes A 140 Can I afford this? please for help
Hello, so my question was if I could have a Mercedes A 140 set. I’ll be living alone soon and the youth welfare office will pay 450 euros a month, for food about 150 euros are expected, that would be 300 euros, of which still goes clothes, household funds and so on. You think I have more reason, if everything you have to pay the money enough to entertain an a 140? So with 450 euros the rent is already deducted and additional costs from the apartment. I just don’t know what ic h to get pocket money and how much I still have left etc. I have to drive on the day from August 5 times a week about 30 to 40 km, that would be about 800 kilometers a month, I think the a 140 that you know better consumes about 8 liters in the city. That would then be 100 euros of gasoline going on, but I would get 50 euros monthly from family for the car. Thank you in advance My next question is, there is still a car that is even cheaper than the A 140, less Fuel consumed and has less insurance? Thanks also there

Audio 10 CD and self-burned CD ́s
Hi, I got myself an audio 10CD in a large auction house. The device is from Alpine. Purchased CDs play it easily, self-burned ones didn’t run so far or only very badly. I first tried to run the burning on the slowest level, next I put only 600 MB on it, everything without success. Yesterday I bought special audio CDs. The things have a blue surface, similar to DVDs. What can I say, it works! o my tip: In case of problems with self-burned CDs, get special audio CDs and burn slowly, then it works with the neighbor )) Greeting andreasstudent

Fine dust reporting
At the moment, I am increasingly aware of the recurring negative debate about fine dust and non-particle-filtered cars. ADAC -Motorwelt 5/2006 page 3: In a prominent place, the deputy editor-in-chief vehemently calls for the tax promotion of soot filters for cars. ——————————– Actually, they should make quite different demands as representatives of the car drivers, because the stupid fine dust as a new European panic maker, has almost nothing with the car exhausts z u do. A particle filter retrofitting of all old diesel cars (and “alt” means some Golf 5) would result in a fine dust reduction of 2 percent!!! then the Spiegel Online also reports: Quote: … Fine dust from car exhaust gases can lead to considerable health loads… Also the BILD and AUTO-BILD like to jump on the people’s feedback. None of the newspapers or magazines at the same time and clearly indicates that a reduction of the fine dust load by partik elfilterung -aller- diesel car would bring almost no change in the air load, but bring enormous financial problems to the driver’s intact and still long working car – up to the forced new car purchase! I can only call for such times to be made clear to you, and to write the displeasure even directly to the editorial staff! They never change otherwise their narrow-minded and egg-sided reporting! And especially the Mercedes diesel drivers are particularly drunk I don’t know.

Webasto Auxiliary Heating–> Flammation
Hello people Have a Webasto heater with HTM 100. It works “in general” quite well. But more and more often it doesn’t run perfectly in the morning. The heater goes off briefly, then the fuel pump, which is installed near the tank, starts to clack loudly, about 3-4 times as loud as normal. That’s what it is, then the heater goes off again and stores the error message Flammababbruch. I was also at the Bosch service, but these find nothing, because if I go to the Serv I’ve already asked Webasto via e-mail, but they only write back with the answer, the responsible Bosch service may get in touch with them. But they don’t find anything. The mistake doesn’t happen regularly, can it happen three times a week, then the heating runs again for a whole week without any disruption. Do you know this mistake?

Which older Mercedes is robust?
Hello, I am an absolute Mercedes newcomer and would need advice from Mercedes specialists. And I want a used Benz best a station wagon. Now my question, regardless of the price or the kilometers which older Mercedes class is to be recommended with which one can drive even far more than 150,000 km calmly to the Baltic Sea on holiday (700 km) without which one will be afraid and anxious, which gets something broken on the road. I wanted to be an absolute Benz newcomer a vehicle of And it would be nice if it were an automatic transmission, if you now say what has more than 100,000 km on it, the automatic can quickly break down, then I will leave the fingers of it. Which Benz is quasi indestructible ? Oh yes and it would be nice if jrmand could tell me which equipment lines there are at mercedes ? Many thanks in the v orraus Mfg Michael
