Hello together, I have been playing for a long time with the idea of buying an mx5. Really long. Now my golf 6 is broken and the time point could not be better. Unfortunately I have asked some questions I have one in mind 160ps ez 08 with100000km hardtop for 11000€ is the price ok? Are there engine problems at 1.8 or 2.0 And which larger work are available at which km or after how many years. Not that I have to save money now but at the next inspection 2000€. to would be moved daily.

Hello together. I have recently been the owner of an NC Bj.2011. The car is always standing outside. Whenever it has rained water runs out of the processes of the doors when I open them. So far so good. But what happens if I don’t use the car for a few days or weeks or only open the driver’s door? Does the water then run off at appropriate “fill height” where differently or does it stay there and offers best conditions for gaggle and rust? There are not only a few droplets, But it’s already running for about 10 seconds. Or is that possibly not normal at all and it’s a seal defective or something similar? I’ve been reading with you here in the forum for a long time and I know about the problems of the processes from the roof. Hello, this week had a very nice test drive with an ND and I am very fixed. So the study of the configurator and the brochures begins. We drove a Sportsline 160 with the normal leather equipment. The seats did not like me in themselves, with a few restrictions. The seat width fits with me just so yet is very fitting 😉 tight. In addition it was very warm and my back then got wet very quickly, so I had the feeling l that the seats are not too breathable. How are your experiences with the alternatives? How is the Recaro seat with regard to the seat dimensions, especially the width? Same, or narrower, or even further? Is the ventilation with the Alcantara better? Or rather fabric because it is airier? Would however do me hard for the same money to take fabric instead of leather. I do not find the configurator and his details made so great. Is it right that all 160 Domstrebe Does the sports package contain essentially only the Recaro seats? There is still talk of any assistance systems, without being described in more detail. What exactly do you have to order, so that the Bilstein suspension is installed in any case? The little one liked us with the sports suspension super. Very directly in the steering and very sporty. Hello, I’m new here at the Mazda Forum and would like to introduce myself briefly. I’m 58 years old and since my youth repair everything that doesn’t get away fast enough. I have once learned R&F technicians, so can also power and electrics. Timing belts, control chain, gears in and out and similar things go all over the home pit. Although is cramped but works. Now to my new project. Daughters has broken both shock absorbers at their Mazda MX 5 NC1 from 2008 back. Lose oil ! Driving behavior From 120 km/h I’m in need of getting used to it. I have a few questions: after only 8 years of shock absorbers I don’t know at all. Does this happen more often with this type? Which shock absorbers can you recommend? Do you still need small goods? ( so rubbers that come under the dome bearing or similar? What to do? Springs tighten. Upper crossbars unscrew and shock absorbers out, done? Hello, years ago I used the NA MX-5 (first model 1989). I never had the impression that the MX-5 offers little space. Also the seat was comfortable and fit. Due to the new special model Mazda MX-5 Mithra I dabbled today to the Mazda dealer. I found the seat sample disappointing. Somehow the whole car seems a lot tighter. Middle tunnel is very wide, but also the left and right footroom is smaller. I also didn’t feel comfortable with the seats. ?? Has the car actually narrowed down in the third generation? Too bad the dark red mithra would not be bad. However, I am a bit disappointed by the unscrupulous cover that is still thrown back by hand (unfortunately not electrically). Unfortunately, the openings on the left and right remain unsightly when folded in. Why does the mithra not exist with the metal folding roof…???? How do you feel about the space available? Hello I changed the head gasket with my MX5 Bj 92 US Model 150000km due to a slight oil loss. I also let the head plan and made the valve shaft seals and head screws new. After about 2 weeks and 300 km the engine squirts extremely and after the smell it burns oil.The engine has power and does not rattle. Can help me with this problem. In advance already many thanks. Good morning MX driver, I drive a Mazda MX5 (manufacturer’s short name: 7118-492003 8) where the engine control light is on. Error description: Ignition on: motor copont roller light on – start engine: engine control light off briefly (~3s), then it goes on again. I was in a workshop this morning that read out the error memory. However, _0_ errors were stored. Connection to the control unit can be established. As this workshop has little experience with Mazda I was referred to a new car (M). Error memory has been deleted, problem has remained. I would now simply drive on and not think much about it, however I have to do TÜV and they will probably reject the car with luminous engine control light immediately. I already found out that the control unit is installed in the footroom of the passenger. Battery changed a few weeks ago. It can be because since then I have not all the sensors out I’ve been driving 30km since then – but no motorway. Now I wanted to hear out what you would do. Do you know good workshops that get your Mazda in the Munich area in your hands? Can I do something myself? Dear greeting supplement: When starting today, the speed indicator in the cockpit was short and showed 0 RPM. Passed after I switched on the windscreen wiper. Level 1 didn’t work, level 2 already, but the speed indicator did not work. Both symptoms “disappeared” after 2-3km. Wipe and display go back. oO Other: oil temperature minimum over the 50% of the display.

Hello together, I wanted to ask if you can install a MX 5 NB rim with an ET20. The car is not lowered and I personally did not do before bodywork on the car, because it is in a collector’s condition. The Mazda is currently still on the standard chassis. Lowering I think with ET20 without bodywork will be so or so difficult possible. The rim has the dimensions 15 x 8. Do you have any experience with such a low inlet I have already seen some posts on the internet where ET20 rims were installed, but bodywork was necessary. Evening I need some help with the application of rims for my MX5 NA. The car is completely original only a suspension and rims. The rims are the JR 16 inches but the TÜV does not let them pass. UmbrellaMotorcorp also does not. Which rims are to be recommended without widening. Similar tips are also desirable.
