  • Purchase advice Mazda CX5

Hi guys, by chance I have become aware of the new CX5. From the outside I find the car a force, inside I have to see how the material looks like during a test drive. In the overall context I can convince the car so far of the optical, even if there is no ambient lighting or a black roof sky. Since I have a lot of city traffic and a few kilometers, a diesel is actually eliminated. But here is always the sporty note considered good. I would like to hear the 2.5l petrol, but here the automatic is slower than the manual circuit and overall very sluggish from the information, also the top speed is rather modest. That I don’t get the values with an SUV like with my VW 7ner GTI is logical, but over 9seconds for 100km/h and just around the 200km/h peak I don’t think exactly for almost 200hp. Also one reads again and again that the automatic should be very sluggish. Therefore my question, on which engine should I concentrate to achieve the maximum sportiness, with the sporty looking CX5. Here is the manual circuit really better than the automatic, which I actually wanted.

  • CX-5 2014: What are you looking at when buying second-hand?

Hello together I’m currently driving a Ford Mondeo Hybrid. Do of course this one can only pull 750kg and therefore want to change, because I would like to pull a boat trailer (1.8 tons). I have a CX-5 from 11.2014 on the radar with 84,000 kilometers. The price is very interesting. 2.2 liters diesel, 6-speed manual gear, leather equipment etc. detachable trailer coupling (apparently only needed for bicycle transport). celift or the predecessor model? What do I have to pay attention to when viewing? Where are the vulnerabilities? I didn’t find out quickly whether belts or chain… It’s about this vehicle here (no idea if I can set ads)https://www.autoscout24.ch/…/…cx-5-22-d-hp-revolution-awd-116186

  • Service and inspection costs for CX-5 / CX-60

Hello to the forum, at the moment we drive a W213, 350d as a motorhome and a Hyundai Santa Fe 2.2 CRDi, as a towing vehicle for the horse trailer. At the end of the year, the Santa Fe, after about 5 years of faithful service and almost 200000km, is to be replaced. Therefore, we are looking for suitable candidates. Thus the CX-60, D254 falls into the narrow selection, as the new engine at Mazda is simply more viable than the current motorization at Hyundai and Kia. (Santa Fe) / Sorento). And if we decide on the CX-60 and it drives as well in everyday life as with the test drives, then the CX-60 should replace the Benz, in a short time, also completely. For this reason I am also interested in the maintenance costs of the CX-60 with regard to service or inspection. Since the CX-60 is even more short on the market, information about the CX-5, as a rough guide value, is very welcome. I thank you already in advance for your efforts and Perhaps this thread will also serve here in the future to share one’s own experiences, about the amount and development, of costs in service or inspections of the CX-60, as information?

  • CX-60 Child Diseases

Hello, for reasons of clarity it would perhaps be useful to “collect” all children’s diseases here in a separate thread. Then I would also start at once: – Sporadic failure of the assistance systems – Noise during the switching processes in the lower gears – Vibration of the exterior mirrors at speeds above 130 km/h VG Tom

  • CX-60 Lowering

Has anyone had any experience with subtle lowering with H&R Federn or Eibach? Are there any other pictures there than those of H&R and especially the testimonial and recommendations? It would be nice to hear how the driving behaviour has changed and how the experiences with the individual manufacturers are. And above all the differences in connection with the shock absorbers of the 1st series and the improved dampers. Also photos would be great. Thank you !! nfos. Thank you * post from 2 individual merged, MadMax MT-Team

  • Mazda cx60 e-Skyactiv D Motor short distance

Good day, I wanted to ask if the new engine in the new cx60 diesel is also suitable for short distances? It should be completely new and have different new types of combustion. Does anyone know about this? I am aware that the diesel is not really suitable for short distances. Since Mazda has developed this new engine, I wanted to ask if the one technology has intus, what it could do? Short distance would only be at work, but in general we drive a lot a week. nende or on holiday (Netherlands, Baltic Sea etc.) 14000km are certain in the year. Since we do not yet know when the petrol is coming, we think about which car we want to get.

  • Buy AWD 2 or all 4 tyres?

Hello, Since the Mr._Nielsson and the switch selector have strangled the other treat quite quickly without a meaningful title, I ask here again: Do you have to exchange all four tires if the profile is too uneven in order not to accept consequential damage to the distribution gearbox? It is about the following: I deliberately did not buy a BMW 5-wheel (X-Drive) a few years ago, as this was exactly a problem. If the profile depth front axle to rear axle was too large The difference could have been caused by damage to the gearbox. Are such damage also known to the CX5? Small note: I had an accident on my Golf 4, in which a rear tyre was destroyed. When the vehicle was repaired, only one tyre was replaced. The other one still had about 50% profile, I had to pay for it myself. The new tyre was even another manufacturer, as the same manufacturer was not available.

  • PHEV Energy consumption (petrol/electricity) of your vehicle

Hi, everybody, I’m going to make a new thread for this because this is going on in the huge general thread otherwise. I hope for a few long-term values of your PHEVs here. I now have nearly the 10,000 kilometers full and draw a line below the total amount. Please don’t get any values from a single original lukewarm ride in the Netherlands here, for example, I can’t start much with that personally. After 9,600 kilometres and 11 months, I am now lying at 5,99 liters of petrol plus 18,01 kWh on 100 kilometers. The values are from the meter of the wallbox and the tank station, so not from the on-board computer The car was not preheated since then the windows were always completely fogged and heating in winter 19 degrees, climate in summer 23 degrees. Usual daily driving profile 25 kilometers to work, mainly rural road and 20 percent city share. At weekend highway, but almost never more than 130 km/h. For my taste a little high the total consumption. Purely electric almost always Bai approx. 35 kwh / 100 kilometers, with petrol operation actually always over 9 liters. Overall I tried to drive mainly electric inside. I am curious how your long-term values look like. Greeting Tom
