Hello MTs, lately I’ve been having a lot of problems with jerking when accelerating in the speed range 1500 to 3000. According to research in the net it’s often because of: * worn / wrong spark plugs * bad / dirty ignition cables * dirty air mass meter * dirty air filters So first of all everything that can be controlled and fixed relatively cost-effectively. Here is the first problem: With the videos in the net you always see as nice as the ignition cables simply off I’m not going back or anything. Is there a trick for the ignition cables to get them down? If I pull even tighter, I’m afraid that I’ll pull the whole car up in the front of the car.

Purchase decision: Mazda 6 vs. Bmw 3er (F30)
I am faced with the purchase decision: Mazda 6 or BMW 3 Series (F30). 318dA or similar Limousine, Diesel, Automatic, Navi are especially important to me. Pro BMW: find the 8-stage automatic and Navi better in the BMW. Sportier. Pro Mazda: Better equipment for less money. Spacious. Quiet diesel. Price up to approx. 30,000 euros. Therefore, a young used person at BMW or Mazda comes into my question. Sure, am here in the Mazda Forum. But can you give me advantages and disadvantages to make my decision Thank you.

Start problem after engine change, MX5 NBFL from 1.6l to 1.8l (NB)
Hello, I had recently informed myself here in the chat about the conversion from 1.6l to 1.8l at MX5 NBFL. Now I had found and bought a motor last weekend, which I started on the weekend (but went with a lot of sweat and curse), because I had dug it alone in the garage. I installed the 1.8l-140hp motor with the control unit and the motor cable tree. Filled in the oil filter and oil or new coolant. the 1 hose is about 17cm long and hangs under the manifold on the left side, the 2 hose (60cm long) comes from the petrol vacuum valve and the 3 hose (60cm long) is closed under the manifold on the right side before the petrol inlet connection (below half the vacuum valve). 1. Question: Do the vacuum hoses have to be connected? (You can see it in the following pictures.) 2. Question: Do the hoses play a role in the Starting the engine? 3. Question: Or do I need other parts for normal running or starting the engine? At the moment the MX is standing in the garage and does not want to start, if you could be helpful to me, I would be very grateful to you. Gruss, shg964

A high on Mazda
For many things, the Japanese have thought better. Thus, the heatable rear window first makes a narrow window strip for quick view to the rear fog-free, then the whole glass. Or: The rear seat can be turned into a smooth combi car floor at the angle. Genial of the fuse box. It sits in the driver’s footroom and is illuminated by the extra interior light. Should their fuse have been burned through: it can be blindly felt, as it overwhelms all others. However, it is not only the small things that contribute to the mythical formation of this Mazda series. The brakes, for example, last forever. Our test car still drove with the first set of ventilated disks in front and drums in the rear. The most expensive wear parts, i.e. engine and gearbox, run like a clockwork – provided occasional lubricant look. The hydro-punch of the 2.2-litre starts to tick harmlessly after about 100,000 kilometers. The biggest auto enemy, father Ro St, makes around the body of the 626 a big bow. And that even without galvanizing, only due to good preventive measures. There can swim in the trunk angles tadpoles or in the biotope area of the front fenders (between splash flaps and door) the linden blossoms germinate – a 626 gives the Gilb no chance. What clouds the cohabitation now? Central locking, electric window lifter and power steering are mostly available from GLX. Yes, an air conditioning system would be nice, airbag and AB S-Bremse. ABS was available for the four-wheel-driven 4WS (superfluous!), the 4WD four-wheeler and the GT of the GD-series. Everything else remains on the wish list. But that’s why like the old one, cancel your love? That would be really unfair.

Private purchase – warranty
Good morning, maybe you can help me. I bought a Mazda MX 5 from a private salesman on 18.10.2016. At that time he was 10 years old and had 193,000 km down. Due to the age and the kilometers driven the seller sold the car as a hobbyist car. Last week the car had a breakdown. The starter and the ignition lock is broken. The repair would cost 1500 €. The car cost 2650 €. The repair is not worthwhile. I don’t know what that means. Now to my questions: – Does the defect from the starter and ignition lock apply as a hidden defect? – Does the seller have to stick for it, since there are not yet 6 months around? – Can I return the car to the private seller? – Does the clause with the hobby car protect it? – Is there a precise definition of the hobby car? I blackened my purchase contract once and put it in the attachment. Thank you Chrischi MX5

Your Mx-5 Road Trip experiences and routes
Hello everyone, I wanted to ask you about your trip on a longer road trip with your mx-5 and what your experiences were like? Start and destination of your trip and where did you sleep, above all:P hotel, campsite, couchsurfing, etc. Do you have any recommendations what you should necessarily have with you and what makes life easier for you on the trip. I went from Neuss to Istanbul to my aunt without taking any major stops. I’d like to make a Europe road trip at some point and leave me some time with it. Asia would be a dream but not comfortable with an Mx-5 😛 I’m curious about your contributions.

Sunshade ND side not rotatable – ideas?
Hello everybody, I’m new here. We want to buy a used MX-5 ND. On a test drive I notice that the sun visor can no longer be unplugged and turned to the side window. Was possible with an earlier predecessor model (of course). Does anyone know a way to convert this? I am grateful for every answer!

Start / stop is ….. Scrap ….
Morsche, is it just me? I find the start/stop automatic scrap …. have already driven many cars, but at the ND it only bothers …. Do you know how I can turn on and turn off my car ? With the heating / climate. Summer: climate on, start-stop is almost never going on (well open, temperature of the outside world will probably never sink down on the one I set, then the engine stays on for safety reasons ….) Winter: heating turned high, car goes off almost never. r traffic lights stand, I sometimes have fun and turn the heating from the red to the red/blue area, then the engine starts …. whow …. General: Distribution on windshield: Start/stop never attacks. Climate (even in winter), Start/stop attacks almost never Is too thin honestly said, I mean it is clear that the climate can no longer do its job when the engine is off, but is the start/stop not more important than 30-50 sec long air-conditioned air ? Do I know a Is it just me? Yes, I like my car, but another thing is real garbage (I’ve mentioned it before), since there is a start button, you can’t turn off the engine and leave the ignition at level 1 …. so if you have a key, that would be the first step in which the lights are turned on. Why is this important? Call Bluetooth while you’re driving, then arrive somewhere and turn off the engine, the BT connection is immediately g and the conversation automatically on your mobile phone. Sometimes you might want to do that, but sometimes you don’t….

Mazda 6 – What impression do you have?
Hello, I now had a Mazda 6 1.8 combo with comfort equipment as a replacement car, because I had my Xedos in the workshop. The ABS sire at the front left was moved and led to errors in the ABS system. Did someone actually have this before? I really can’t explain how this can happen. Well but back to the topic. So I found the Mazda 6 already great. First of all it looks great. I was also enthusiastic about the chassis. I was really great on the road. D he steering is very direct, but I don’t feel like a disadvantage, you can get used to it. The station wagon is nice and spacious and there is enough space on the back seat. The 1.8er with 120hp does not necessarily tear shreds out of the asphalt but is sufficiently strong. What shocked me is the comfort equipment. That’s quite thin. Not even eFh back. What really creeped me was the plastic steering wheel, but for the higher equipment there is then a leather steering wheel – a This makes me disgusted, even if I have to drive a barrenly equipped pass. Also details like e.g. 2 illuminated make-up mirrors are missing (well that’s not what I need in the Xedos so I miss it) Is there actually in the higher equipment lines? I felt a bit unhappy about the heating/ventilation and radio control. It steers too much off. And then there was this silver-colored center console which with the car with about 7,000km nevertheless not This didn’t leave a particularly good impression. All in all, a successful car, except for the somewhat unsuccessful operation, a few missing details and the somewhat inferior-looking center console. Well, it’s not a Xedos, but a consideration is worth the car – especially if I need a Pampers bomber. What kind of impression do you have about the Mazda 6?

Buy Mazda 626 Coupe 90/91
Hello Mazda fans, I would like to buy a 90’s or 91’s Mazda 626 Coupe within the next 4 weeks. Either the GD 2.2 116 hp or the GT 2.0 140 hp. The 2.2 is a 12V, the 2.0 a 16V, right? What about the two engine variants with durability, performance and consumption? Is it true that the 2.2 is a Mazda own development (taken over by Ford for the sample 1) and with the 2.0 Ford the hands in the game had? Are there weak points with these according to ADAC very good results. Awesome vehicles? I am looking for a well-kept max. from 2nd hand. Big thanks!
