  • Mazda 626 GF blower spins

    Hello together, recently the ventilation of my 626 GF spins. I have already searched the Internet and read the articles here and found nothing. I even assume that the problem is a known one, because I have found various partial approaches in posts, but nothing that fits 100%. So the problem is that the climate automation is in principle probably functional, but the direction of the air flow is not changed. So display displays e.g. windshield and/or footroom, but air always comes from the nozzles of the dashboard. Even in manual mode, the air always comes from the middle nozzles, no matter what mode I choose. Otherwise, the system reacts both in car and in manual mode to all the on/off/off/eco switchovers, i.e. ventilation strength, climate/off/eco, temperature adjustment. Does anyone have any idea what this could be? And is this the thing that you can repair yourself?

    Hello, I need your help once. I had a Mazda 6 GG. 2.3 Kombi about 7 years ago. I bought it as a transitional car with 225,000 KM. I drove about 40,000 km in 2 years and didn’t have to plug a Euro into the car (except petrol ÖL and what is “Normal” at 40t KM drive) because it just drove. Unfortunately I had to give it to the export because of rust then because it did not get a TÜV anymore. I was so convinced of the car that I now want to get a Mazda 6 again. I find the old models however simply nicer… Currently I have the possibility of a Mazda 6 1.8 Kombi (2010) 120 HP (88 kW)

    For the Mini, a new engine with around 200 hp is planned, which is to come under the name Mini Cooper SS, but I personally am not sure whether the name SS is still being reconsidered. In addition, a diesel with 140 hp is planned. All this can be read in a current car magazine. Markus B.

  • ESD after not even 3J. completely rusted

    Hello guys, I changed the tyres of our mini today and found out that the ESD has a 5cm hole at the bottom. I bit a bit with a screwdriver and he went completely inside.Everything from the rust.Not only the outer shell. It is a Mini One Bj.7/2005 with approx.25TKm.That can’t really be. Is this a well-known problem with the Mini? I’m really stinky.There you spend a lot of money on a small car and can’t even exchange parts for the first HU/AU without before. With a 500€ Fiesta I could understand it,but not with a “Premium-Kleinwagen”, which cost less than 3J. still about 19€. a new ESD costs with BMW with attachment parts and assembly approx. 450-500€

  • Fuel prices

    Do you have fuel prices so crazy? Just now I have fuelled with Jet, as always Super Plus, for 1.42. Super and petrol cost 1,40, Diesel 1,38! How long may it take until diesel is more expensive than gasoline? Compared to Shell, the 1.60 for the Superduper100Oktan and 1.45 for Diesel demanded. So, Diesel was already more expensive than Super Plus, but not with the same tank.

  • Winter tyres

    Hello together, I have a very stupid question: We had a Mini Cooper Cabrio, which we exchanged this year for a new Mini Cooper S this summer. Now the winter is at the door and of course should again winter tires on the Cooper S. Now my question is whether a. the steel rims (with wheel caps) from the Cooper Cabrio also fit on the Cooper S (hole wreath) ? And b. I can drive the tire demention (175/65 R15) on the Cooper S at all ! It’s not about the optics , driving behavior , etc…. The car is driven by my wife for the most part in the city and therefore it doesn’t matter what it looks like …. Can I tell one of you whether I can/should continue the winter tires , or whether I have to buy new ones ?

    Hello people, since the MX-5 (my favorite) will definitely not be a turbo or compressor model for the new one, I am looking for a successor for my everyday vehicle… I have been watching articles about Mini JCW as Hatch for a long time now and think that this could be a short choice. Now to my question: I want to configure one according to my wishes and order one as a new car, NO demonstration car. Optionally possibly give a MX-5 EZ 99 with 100 Tkm in payment – but does not have to be. What about discount with cash payment currently usual?!

  • New Fiat 500 competition to the Mini?

    Hello, I would be interested in what the mini fans and drivers of the new Fiat 500 hold. Can this be a (first time) competition to the mini. So far the mini was quite alone. In the Italian holiday I could notice a hitherto unknown Fiat enthusiasm among many Italian acquaintances. The 500 triggers there real enthusiasm storms. I then visited then last week in Italy a Fiat dealer. The dealer had 2 white 500 in the sales room. Although it was Saturday 1 pm (lunch time in Italy), the sales room was well visited. The car is simply fantastic. Looks chic and is unblemishedly well processed. Especially the interior has become great. No cheap plastic, great fabric seats and incredibly pleasant leather seats (in the 2nd). Amazing were also the space conditions, you could not sit comfortably on all four seats with much legroom. Only the rear headroom was scarce (due to the roof shape).
