We would like to turn off the passenger airbag at our mini, at BMW it costs about 400€ since it allegedly has to enter a new belt. Can one explain this to me? What is the difference? Background is that we would like to take our baby to the passenger seat? Or can you just regulate it so that the seat is pushed to the rear? P.s. Moin Moin !! Has any of you ever had your mouth full of the wired windshield and had a normal windshield installed ?? Are there any problems with any warning message ??? I just came from the minidealer, could almost cry. My works has visual package with these little draughts in the windshield. I had ordered that at that time extra because I had seen it in a test car and felt like in the prison. I always fixed this draught automatically. e, that’s exactly why I don’t want it either. In order to gain time I left the box standing. Nerves because the people who have the visual package did not have the 400 heating draughts. When exactly is such a windshield of any advantage at all??? I mean here with us it is less kaelter than 15 degrees. The dealer thinks he had pulled the cable of the heatable disc to see if the diagnostic system of the mini gives any message. That is not the F all. With a disconnected plug, a bug was not even read out on the BMW diagnostic system connected from the outside. That’s why the guys think that I can install a simple windshield and build out the switch in the center console, as if the code 359 was not installed. The glareable internal mirrors and the rain sensor are installed and are not negatively influenced by it. Hello,Minifans! Would like to buy me a Cooper D as a new car as a second car.(There is also a BMW 118d as a 3 doorr to the debate) I have now made a test drive and I am quite impressed by the car. Finally again car driving in a direct and unfiltered form. Great overview, sufficient motorization, very individual interior, great chassis and low consumption. The test car had 175 tires on 15 inches. It seemed to me thus sufficiently stable from It’s hard enough, too. However, it looks really meagre from the back. so I prefer to order the 195 tyres on 16 inches. Does this make the car notice a noticeably harder, a performance loss or increases the consumption? I look forward to your postings and also to my first mini! Oh yes, which extras are absolutely necessary (Xenon or standard light,HIFI system etc) which equipment package fits best?
