  • JCW Sound Kit / Sound Extension Radio

Good evening together I was with the friendly one today to pick up my second key and there I fell in my hands while waiting, an accessory catalog. I noticed the tuning kit! Can the air filter also be bought individually?? There is a sports exhaust pipe cover, can it do something or rather not? (I already have the mini accessories for 180€) Can I not be friends with the reprogramming of the ECU anyhow. I have read, then my mini gets a n new cylinder head?? Furthermore, I would like to have more sound in the car, what do you think of the packages of autohifistation? Find the solution of Alpine and H&K at friendly, but too expensive. My dealer also advised me of the retrofit sets of Mini, he has already had bad experiences.

  • Special model Mini Ray

Was just briefly refueled in Switzerland for 1.05 Euro and made a detour to the mini dealer. With them there is a special model Ray : http://www.mini.ch/…/index.jsp?… The wheel caps are so ugly, I wouldn’t even make them at night, but the mirror caps were quite nice. There are many nice color e.g. pink for Betty ….. Have ordered for me the neon yellow for about 80,– Swiss francs. Let’s see how they come out on my black works. We I’d be happy to get in touch with you. I’d be happy to get you some. Markus

  • K&W V2 in JCW

In the evening, I got our little one back from K&W, in which, as in our first Mini, a K&W winch suspension V2 was installed. because our works is a convertible, for which there was not yet an FW of K&W (R57) a K&W V2 from the R56 was adapted to the cabrio because it is compared to the tin roof Mini rear wg. the cover mechanism, overhanger etc. is significantly heavier and therefore needs stronger springs at the rear. K&W will soon offer this FW for the new cabrio. ied is ENORM – lower position about 30 mm and thus in the upper range (goes a lot deeper for those who are more important to optics than driving behaviour). the small looks no longer as high legged and drives around CLASSES better than with the series FW. it has become clearly KOMFORTABLER because it springs and does not jump! no more hobbled, polter and stuckere on worse autobahnen, no more fear in fast autobahn curves, stable when braking together, significantly less twisting the a ntriebsräder thanks to a noticeably better attraction, with which you now get a lot more jagged out of the curves and through. rich, safe driving feeling. buttomline – an enormous increase from the driving fun, comfort and safety. a mini with series FW and runflat tire makes ambitiously driven by far not so much fun and is pearls thrown before the sucker. I would do it again and again – but that was clear from the good experiences with the predecessor already when buying the car that again a K&W is installed.

  • Purchase decision Mini Cooper S

Hi, I’m new here and I have a very “remarkable” question right now. Drive a Polo 1.4 TDI, where there are many repairs at the moment. Now I got an offer from a friend (BMW & Mini dealer) for a leasing withdrawal. Mini Cooper S, 36,500 km, EZ 05.07 Dark Silver Metallic, fabric/leather combination ray cream white -elek. Glass roof, xenon, climate control, seat heating, mini boost CD, multifunctional steering wheel, Chrome-Line interior, rain sensor, BC, piano black Painting inside, LM-Crone … (I unfortunately forgot 🙂 are painted if desired in car color and get new tires (since the previous owner gets a new Mini JCW and are currently mounted winter bikes.) Price 21.000 € I have no experience with Mini, and the search at mobile also did not yield anything suitable. Is this price ok??? Have reserved the car until Monday and wanted to get an opinion before. Test drive was really great, got me a little into the kl Maybe you can help me a little… 🙂 Edit: I’m a little bit stuck by the seller’s statement, the mini is very stable in value. I haven’t had any experience with Mini before, be it in person or in the circle of friends. With my friends / acquaintances he’s called “gay porsche”. So I can’t expect any help from the side! ;-))

  • Driving behaviour Cooper S

Hello, I’ve had a new Cooper S for a month and I really love him. However, from the beginning his driving behaviour seemed strange to me: 1. he starts to shiver at the rear with strong throttle. 2. With strong braking he knocks out at the rear. With a stronger braking of approx. 205 on… no idea how much, he has shuddered over both tracks on the highway. My brother and my father suspected that it was because he has so much power and is so small t and that a rear spoiler would improve something. Nevertheless, they think that this extreme behavior can not really be and I should have the settings checked at the dealer. I myself don’t have the idea of cars as you probably notice But before I embarrass myself at the dealer, I wanted to ask what you have done for experiences with your Cooper S. Is this nervous driving behavior normal?

  • Wants to buy John Works

I would like to get a used Mini Cooper John works. The one with 211 hp. Drive a VW Phaeton 5.0l V10 TDI at the moment. I have to say that I am 25 and this car was a complete mistake. Anyway. Now I’m looking for something small, aggressive, so I have to get a horny, stylish mini. But since I’m very busy, it must be the small GROßE. Need all the information, tips, diseases and everything you need to know about the John Works. On which What would be a reasonable price ? What equipment does the little one have in any case ? As you can see, a lot of questions. I don’t know the car at all. WANT to have the small, poisonous but. That’s horny, you are no longer punished as a motorist with such a little flicker. Thank God.

  • clubman ade

so…the lease contract is signed…for nen 120d cabrio… since the problems at the clubman were apparently ned in the grip I pulled the emergency brake and separated myself next week Friday from the mini the last 2.5 years the little one had a lot of fun and joy ready…unfortunately there were enough days to cloud the picture…cause for the separation were finally the engine problems, which could probably be remedied ned for good…hence he has to go… well…the minivirus is still present, but the trust in the reliability is missing… maybe in three years the belly dominates again and there comes again a mini in front of the hut…look ma mer…the hope dies last

  • … it was once a Mini Cooper engine with 35,000km

… which suddenly made klok-klok-klok. This sound occurred after a curve. Engine warm, about 1km away from the saving home garage. At first I thought “Nana, I hope I put all the screws on when changing tyres?”. In the garage then I could hear that curling then also with standing mini. A call to the FMH resulted in an hour later the service mobile was with me. That confirmed a motor damage. Either a guide rail of the control chain The tow truck driver then typed crankshaft. At the mini dealer or in the workshop one could confirm the defective crankshaft after opening the engine. Engine has to go out – a new one costs 4500 euros plus installation. Swallow. My mini is 4 years and 11 months old, mileage 35,000. According to the service display I had 1200km until the next inspection. According to FMH I should have come regardless of the display every year. My serivce edition etc. is all in the Mini, so I can’t look. Is that so? At least 1 times a year to change oil? I always go if I have received a reminder by letter TÜV or even if the Mini wanted it. Before that came the info from Munich, that on the material 50% kulanz is watered. I would like to note that I am very satisfied with the friendly and very helpful way of working of the mini dealer. When having a call within a few seconds there is a suitable car master on the phone there For example Ford, at least with me, not Torsten.

  • Mini Cooper S Cabrio EZ 04/2006 Green badge???

Hello Mini Cooper S driver! Need your help! A friend of mine bought a Mini S Cabrio (170hp) EZ 04/2006. Now he has not been assigned a green badge. The lady has looked into the computer three times and refused the badge. I have now entered the numbers (emission class) on the Internet at the Dekra and come (unfortunately) to the same result. In the new vehicle license this lady has created at the registration The funny thing is that from the predecessor on the disc a “green badge” is already stuck. So that means that you got a “green badge” at the time of registration or after that. Now my question to all MiniS drivers. Did you all get a “green badge” or is there someone who doesn’t have one??? Would be really interesting, because I can hardly imagine that a car with year 2006 (BENZINER) has no badge. With Diesel that would be something else because it is about the fine dust!!! So somewhere is the worm in it ;-)) So please quick answers!!! DIELEN DANK in advance!!! Greetings

  • Mini Cooper D useful for short distances?

Hello, in a few months I will buy a new car, but I am not yet clear which one. Criticisms are design, economy and driving fun. So I thought of a Mini Cooper D. I drive about 5km of city traffic twice a day and at the weekend also sometimes 30km highway and country road. On working days the vehicle is then moved only very briefly, in the morning maybe 5-7 minutes, in the evening thanks to traffic also sometimes 20. The taxation in Austria is different with diesel than in Germany, my Knowing is identical to a similar strong gasoline engine. Of course I would prefer a Cooper S, but consumption, insurance and new car price rather speak against. Greetings
