Hello together! My girlfriend and I play with the thought of buying us a mini. I personally do not want a one, a JCW is not possible either. The car would move every week 130 km only over the country road and at the WE a few kilometers in the city. Which car would you recommend to me in terms of fun, skill and value stability? “Reicht” a “normal” Cooper or should it definitely be the Cooper S? I wanted to order my MINI CooperS this morning… but the MINI saleswoman was able to hold me back: she told me that the facelift comes from the next month, orders for this are accepted in 1 – 2 weeks. Besides Facelift come among other things other taillights (LED), controls in the cockpit now in black. The color dark silver will no longer exist, but another exclusive grey for CooperS and Cooper Works (generally a few new colors). but she couldn’t tell me for sure. Hi together, think about buying me ‘n Cooper S or Clubman S, used cars. Here in the forum now some write, you should definitely buy it with the DTC (traction control). As standard, he already has the DSC (so the “ESP” of BMW/Mini) inside, but net the DTC. Am now a bit skeptical if you absolutely need this DTC. Is that true? Do I absolutely need the DTC to have fun with the Mini Cooper S / Clubman S or does he bring his power without the DTC even net the road? BMW/Mini writes on its side (www.mini.de/mini_clubman/cooper_sd/safety/index.html) about the DTC: “The optional Dynamic Trankion Control (DTC) gives the driver the opportunity to use the self-driving behaviour of the MINI Clubman more actively. Hey guys, so I bought a John Cooper Works a couple of months ago and I’m satisfied with the performance of the car. But what bothers me is that I see a Cooper S driving past me all the time, which looks almost exactly like my JCW model in red… I think the two models have to be better differentiated from each other. You can probably distinguish an M3 directly from the 335i – so with BMW it works… Think now, my little ones still a little bit more To just make it look even more sporty, harder or even more sophisticated. Any ideas?? Thank you guys! 🙂

Hello Together, I am currently playing with the idea of buying a Mini Clubman Cooper S as a used (with warranty; from the dealer). Since some vehicles that are still in question have the 174 hp engine, I wanted to hear your opinion regarding the question 174 hp vs. 184 hp. Performance-wise the difference might be negligible, so my question is mainly aimed at reliability. I would be pleased about advice, thank you very much in advance. VG David

So it’s like this, I’ve had my driver’s license for about 2 months, in time I drove cars from my parents. And now it’s time for a car and well it’s almost fixed that I’m going to get myself a Cooper S.
